In recent years they have started doing fun specials for every season. We love seeing the flavor of the week and that's usually what I order! The chocolate cherry flurry is also a big hit in my family. Last summer we tried a retreat bag, a new special they started. For $10, we got 5 mystery or "wrongly made" desserts! But a few areas outside to sit and enjoy your treat. Staff are friendly and mostly younger kids. If you need napkins you have to ask for them as they are not provided. Menu wise there are sweet treats like flurries, shakes, slushes, floats, and even a pup cup for your four legged friend. They also have food such as burgers, coney dogs, and chicken tenders to name a few. Went with the mini m&m flurry and the soft serve was delicious. So smooth and creamy! This was another place that was a little disappointing after reading so many positive reviews. Came here for dole whip, but they were out. This is another ice cream shop doing the most and having an unnecessarily long menu. Unfortunately if you're in the drive-thru, the window where you order is the only place you can look at the menu. The lady working was kind of rude about us not having memorized the whole menu before our first visit here, and we felt very rushed. There are too many options to have just one menu when there is a line forming and spilling out into road traffic. Our ice cream came out quickly and it was good. Nothing special or memorable, but it was good. This might be a great spot for locals who don't have other options, but I really don't see any reason to go out of my way to come here. read more

First off. This is a cash only place. But it is cheap compared to other places. Bonus! They have hot food too! Probably the best chili cheese fries I have had in a while! Makes me want to try their other hot items! I have gotten their banana split in both mini and regular size! Both were excellent! Another bonus, they have " drive thru" and walk up options. Amazed there isn't a long line every day at lunch. It might take a couple more minutes than the spots up the road, but no biggie when you can use the drive through or sit outside and enjoy the summer for a little bit. Where else are you going to find an outstanding coney dog piled with chili and onions for under $1.50? In fact I think it is less than $1.25. Feeling like a BLT, burger, bacon cheeseburger and curly fries - also a great idea. For example, today's lunch with my daughter: 1 - 1/4 lb. cheeseburger w/ lettuce, tomato and onion, small curly fries, 2 coneys, 1 can of Sprite and cup of water - under $10! If the weather is nice, they stay open later (11 on weeknights). They have a drive through, but I'm not a fan of that - you order and pay, then pull around and they bring it to your car. I like this place a lot. They have good prices, friendly staff, and you get a LOT of toppings in your blizzards, which I always enjoy. It would be nice if they got with the times and started accepting credit. We use cash so rarely that we've found ourselves in the position where we didn't have money and ended up going somewhere other than Dairy Treat.
