A coworker of mine recommended Shazi, a friend of a friend, and her long time stylist. I decided to give it a shot, and I am so glad that I did. Shazi's boutique salon is located inside a larger salon, but provides privacy and an uninterrupted space for the consultation, and services. This was a concept that I was not familiar with prior to visiting Shazi, but I loved it. Her little boutique is just for you - awesome music playing in the background, and cute, relaxing painting to put you at ease. Shazi also helps put you at ease. She took her time in getting familiar with my hair, it's history, and making sure that we were both on the same page about what was feasible, and what she could offer for me. 3 hours of coloring, cutting, washing, and styling later, my hair was a masterpiece. Shazi was able to accomplish exactly what I wanted, a feat none of my prior stylist have been able to even come close to doing. Shazi was so friendly the entire time, and honestly feels like a long lost best friend by the end of it all.
