The only thing that makes me come back to this place is their white cheese dip... we always have a bad experience. Food quality is merely ok. The steak tacos tend to be super greasy... and their chips always taste burnt like they don't change the oil in the friers very often. The staff needs a little help, they tend to not check on you after your food comes out. So don't expect s refill. This has happened the last two times we've been there. Like I said I keep coming back because of the cheese dip and margaritas.. that's about it! If you want delicious Mexican food go to Elkhorn to los tres hermanos instead. This i believe was my 3rd visit to Los Agaves, I got the steak taco dinner which is 3 taco's rice and beans. I also got 2 more Chicken tacos, My Fiance ordered a Chicken quesadilla, without onions, the server stated the onions are diced up in the chicken mix, so she was going to order pork taco's the server stated again that the onions are diced in the pork, just not the steak, so she went ahead and tried the chicken tacos. It's kind of upsettting that they put the onions in the meat for those who dislike onions (I'm also one of those people) The free Chips/Salsa is pretty good. and service is always good, Just a heads up for you onion haters out there. read more

Everyone in the area obsesses over this place. It is no where near as good of food at places like Guanajuato or some of the other neighboring Mexican spots. I got the breaded chicken torta dinner and I couldn't even bite through the chicken it was so tough. And my teeth are rather sharp. Their steak taco meat always has large chunks of fat. read more

I don't know where every person who wrote a good review is eating but it is not here. The worst Mexican food I have eaten ever!!!!! I would rather go to Taco Bell than go back here again. The food was awful. They had like 20 baskets of chips for chips and salsa on table and only half were under heat lamp. Needless to say there was only one other person in the restaurant. Lived in Geneva and worked in Fort, thier truck is as good as the brick and mortar location. Now not driving past thier truck anymore I'm forced to go inside delevans restaurant and have one of the most complex Mexican food in southern Wisconsin. I took my girlfriend on a date and we stopped by to eat, Please do not sit in the section of the lady who sticks her finger in the salsa, in my opinion that wasn't really nice so I told her to take it way from us, I read the menu and I asked her a few questions, she couldn't answer then I realized that she doesn't know the menu, so Everything else is pretty good oh and by the way she always forgets to bring you silverware, oh wait let me explain something, I was doing this review while I was eating, and they brought us the wrong food so they took our food to a different table, you guys should go its a really nice place trust me, this place makes me feel like I'm at home yeah when my mom is cleaning she always has all her cleaning chemicals over the table. read more
