I highly recommend Dr. Jesus. He is truly the best. Sometimes people avoid going to the dentist because co-payments are very high, but with him, the co-payments are very affordable. He also accepts new patients; some doctors don't have room for new patients, so that is a big plus. The dental group is also in a good location. These guys are the coolest, friendliest, dentists in town. Hands down. George and Jesus made my visit one of the most enjoyable office visits I've ever had. They were EXTRA careful to ensure that I wouldn't be paying any fees out of pocket and triple checked that I would. They were quick but gentle with my teeth and made the experience really fun. They even through in a freeby fluoride topical application which they didn't need to do but did anyway. Because they are AWESOME. As long as my insurance is covered by them I won't be going to any other dentists in the area ever. I believe Drs. this dental office has been "taking care" of my grandma for about 15-20 years. i am no professional but knowing if an elderly woman, who can't drive herself around to her appointments, has to find transportation - timing is most important. Every single time I bring her for ANYTHING. We are here for like minimum 1 hour. She comes to pick up a SINGLE piece paper, 1 hour. A cleaning 3 hours???? I work in a doctor's office and we know when its time to get our act together. If you know things are going to take longer than expected. Let your patients know. Do not give the run around. Other people have busy lives as well. This has been an ongoing issue when I bring my grandmother and it's really frustrating for her as a patient when a dentist visit turns into an all day visit. Especially when she cannot drive herself and others take time out of their day to drive her. read more

I notice that most of the reviews here are for the former dentists. The old guards are no longer there, as far as I know, because it's a new dentist at the group now, when I visited. I saw Dr Gosavi. She said I needed major work done to 8 of my teeth (EIGHT!!!) although all I had was occasional sensitivity on one tooth: crowns, fillings, occlusal hard guard etc. Quoted price came up to $3330. I have the print out with me as I write this review. Very suspicious, I consulted friends who are dentists. They were all suspicious too. I finally went to do a full x-ray at another dentist and was told my teeth were all well and good and there is absolutely no need for any intervention whatsoever. Enough said. read more

I've been a patient of Dr Keats since 1996. Won't talk about procedures I've had done, but I can attest to quality of work performed. If you need anything more serious than a filling of cavity, he is the one you want to see (or his partner Dr Kwan, who also has positive reviews on yelp). My rule of thumb for dentistry is simple: I only go to general dentists for general dentistry. For root canals, I would only go to an endodontist. For braces, I would only go to an orthodontist. Watch out for those one stop shops that do it all. Always go to someone who is the specialist for what they do. I remember the days when Los Altos Dental Group used to accept HMO plans, but due to their success they started to only accept PPO plans at one point. Both have very large established clientele so if they are accepting new patients, you should feel lucky. read more

I just had a wonderful experience with Dr. Gosavi and her team. She makes sure you are as comfortable as possible as soon as you step in, and gives an excellent overview of what to expect throughout the procedure, along with different options you can take. I did not want to have a root canal scheduled on a particular date, and she was very helpful in helping me understand what I could do to manage pain up until the actual appointment, and what to expect during that time. She is also on top of the latest research, and discussed newer treatment options and dental hygiene techniques. I was a patient of the former Dr. Kwan for a long time but dont like or trust the new owners and have decided to switch. If its your visit to Dr. Gosavi, be prepared for a long list of procedures that have to be done "urgently" to your teeth. Not only that, she hardly spends time with you and makes her receptionist explain all the procedures that are required. My new dentist is great, and very experienced. I had my first appointment there last week and will be going back next week to replace an old filling. So far I am thrilled with this office: 1. Marlene, the office manager is hyper efficient and super dooper friendly. 2. After I filled in all my forms, I was introduced to each person who was taking care of me - again, really friendly and personable. 3. Dr Keats insisted that I was not leaving until all my teeth were properly cleaned and polished (even threw in a free whitening). He was not even close to being scared of my bleeding gums. 4. More importantly, Dr Keats managed to get all my teeth ship shape with minimal trauma and bleeding. 5. I just received the insurance pre-authorization (organized by Marlen) for my procedure next week and my co-payment will be less than she had predicted. AWESOME! read more

I really trust Dr. Keats and his staff and would highly recommend them. I have gone to them now for a wisdom tooth extraction, cleaning/whitening, and xrays/consultation for cavities and they were great. They are very knowledgeable, honest, and funny. It is a pleasure going to the dentist now (I've had not so great experiences in the past and am VERY nervous when it comes to doing any procedures).
