We were car shopping and wanted something a little different! Los Andes was what we stumbled on and we were so delighted! Their menu is simple and doesn't overwhelm you with a million options. We have a family friend who is from Peru and has cooked some of the items that were on the menu before. I was so excited for the Lomo Soltado and my husband was super excited for the pesto that came with roast chicken. The owner was quick to greet us, seat us, and take our drink orders and then our food order. The food came out quickly. Lomo Soltado is a Peruvian steak stirfy over fresh cut potato fries served with white rice. Oh. My. Goodness was it delicious! My hisband loved the roasted chicken had flavor throughout and the pesto pasta was fantastic too. I couldn't recommend Los Andes enoug!

My husband and I actually found this place in the yelp app and decided to try it out for a lunch date. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. It's a quaint little restaurant not a lot of pizazz but perfect for the environment. The food was top notch j and came out quickly. If you are looking for a lunch spot this is it.

Well wow wow wow! The empanadas, chimichurri was spot on. Home run. The chicken and rice was extremely tasty. Naturally you have to have an Alfajores and espresso. I make my own empanadas and chimmi. My standards are high. This place crushed it. I'll be back.

Another Peruvian gem in Jacksonville located on Atlantic Boulevard near the beach. Great tasting and fresh food served in a comfortable atmosphere. Always a pleasure to see Señor Joshua who is courteous, knowledgeable and professional. A wonderful dining experience was had and I look forward to many more!

I eat a lot of El Salvodorian food in Maryland, so I was excited when in Jax to find a spot. The rice was mushy, and the chicken seemed processed and lacked flavor. I also didn't receive any white sauce, and I paid for extras. Back home, the rice has real rotisserie chicken in it and boasts flavor. This was not it.

Those sauces are amazing! Spicy, but SO good! Top right - Churrasco Argentino (my other friend's meal)

Did a small dinner with some friends. One of them had never been here before. I was sooooooo excited for them to try it! I always always always get the Lomo Saltado. Soooooo good! And their rice that comes with it ... oh maaaaaaan. It's not plain. It looks like plain white rice, it is not! I don't know how to explain it, but when you try it ... oh, you'll understand! Sooooo goooood! That Chaufa was awesome! You better believe I took the leftovers to work for lunch the next day! Hahahaha SO. GOOD. And we celebrated my birthday by sharing a flan. We were all full, but the portion we shared was perfect. And she had a candle to make it official! Hahaha Thank yooooooou!!! Highly recommend this place. Food is awesome and the staff is super friendly.

Any place I walk into and immediately want to start dancing is a good sign. As the Latin music played we were graciously greeted by Joshua who was very accommodating in taking our orders and explaining all the choices they had in their empanada choices. We tried all of the empanadas and each was heavly filled with chicken and beef goodness. We also tried the De Churrasco sandwich. It was a tender skirt steak with general sandwich toppings.. and of course we had the chicken 1/4 with rice and beans.. the Chicken was juicy and tender..very good.. I felt for me everything was perfectly seasoned as I don't like over salted food.. We took home a assortment of desserts to share with the rest of the family and they enjoyed them also. Great experience!

I love that they have a grab-and-go selection of meals, sandwiches, sides, and more within the restaurant. I ordered the Al Pastor Margarita and my server told me it was one of their most popular cocktails. After my first sip, I completely understood why. It's crafted with blanco tequila, lime and pineapple agave, Asado Orange Bitters (available for purchase), smoked salt rim, and a grilled pineapple garnish. For my entree, I went with the Asado Trio which includes picanha steak, house-made chorizo, and a signature-spiced chicken thigh. The steak and chorizo were both good, but I have to tell you - the chicken was the star of the show for me which I wasn't expecting. It was so moist and flavorful. Since I eat mostly chicken at home, it's never my first choice of protein when I'm dining out. That should tell you how wowed I was by Asado Life's chicken. The entree came with a house salad which was a very generous size. I really enjoyed their house vinaigrette and the toasted breadcrumbs. The potato salad side was a bit of a miss for me. I did not eat the peppers that came on it which certainly would have added some flavor. It was not bad but needed some seasoning and salt. In retrospect, I should have asked for some of the chimichurri used on the meat trio to add to it. Service was one of the highlights of the meal. My main server Stephanie was great and the servers worked well as a team. I had two different servers deliver my cocktail and then my salad, and everyone was genuinely friendly. I'm excited that they are opening a location in Jax later this year.

We were left feeling unwelcome and dismissed despite there being plenty of seating. Good service starts with treating guests respectfully, and unfortunately that was completely missing here. I sincerely hope the owners see this review, because I doubt they would want potential customers turned away or made to feel unwanted when tables are sitting empty. We left frustrated and took our business elsewhere. I cannot recommend this place based on the way we were treated.

I would recommend additional seasoning for the seafood & a lemon to squeeze over it and wake up the flavor.

The food was absolutely amazing. I have never heard a bad thing about their food but I don't think anyone prepared me for how delicious every single thing was. My daughter ran up to the bar and made me a cheese plate for an appetizer. It was all perfection. When the meat started arriving at the table I was blown away by the whole experience. Every single thing that I tried was simply the best. Even a chicken leg was probably the most delicious piece of chicken I've ever had. I tried to keep up with everything that I tried, but I lost track very swiftly. (I do believe I tried everything except for the salmon because I don't care for salmon. The other people at our table did try it and loved it.) At one point I realized I had tried almost everything but not the lamb. I mentioned it to a family member who has been there before and they immediately flagged down a waiter to tell them. Turns out that you have to ask for it specially. Very soon after, lamb arrived at the table and I will continue to dream about those lamb chops probably for the rest of my life. So savory and delicious. As for the non-meat items, the grilled pineapple and fried cheese & honey blew me away. Both were items I haven't tried before but thoroughly enjoyed. The cheese puffs and the polenta sticks were also delicious. All in all, this was definitely a night to remember. I highly recommend going here.
