Authentic and clean eating ease for the win. Delicious shrimp and fish ceviche, as well as some cooked mahi. I brought a friend who had never eaten Peruvian and we both truly enjoyed it. For added flair, we had some Inca Kola as well. Give it a shot for a different kind of soda. The service was fantastic. My only critique is that there was an unfortunate scent. As a food service type, I think the building was experiencing some drains that need to be flushed. Not the restaurant's fault, but definitely would make someone think twice about being there.

Late dinner before 8PM at Señor Ceviche with no reservations. The place looks really clean and elegant, the diners look so relaxed with the music as they enjoyed their meal. For drinks, we ordered the Old-Fashioned Inca style (cool smoke presentation as it was served) and the Machu Picchu with 3 layers of flavors including Grenadine. It was both delicious! Ordered the Juegra Mixta-3 flavors of Ceviche, Green, Yellow and Red with potatoes on the side for $43 and it was good for sharing and just hit the right spices at level 2 spicy. Yum! Gracias to Mr. John and the rest of the staff for the awesome meal and service. We will definitely be back to try the other Ceviche flavors at this location :) #supportlocal904

The ceviche was so good here! I ordered the spicy version and it definitely didn't hold back the heat. I can't wait to go back and try more! The only thing I will say is that the place fills up and the seats are pretty squished together.

My friend took me for my birthday for a late night dinner The service was wonderful! The staff was very helpful when going over the menu! We were a small party of four however everyone went a different route and really enjoyed their meals. This restaurant will be added to my hidden gems. I recommended for having an authentic delicious warm healthy heart meal! The leftover were amazing the next day !

Sr. Ceviche completely exceeded my expectations. We went on a Thursday around 6pm and there was no wait, but as we ate, we quickly watched as the restaurant got pretty busy. Full disclosure: I speak fluent Spanish, so I communicated with the servers in Spanish only. Almost all the customers who came in were speaking Spanish too. I think the servers speak some English, but it might be limited, so just be prepared for that, but that just means the food is that much more authentic! There were only two men working the entire restaurant- from host, bartender, server, and food runner, so the service was a bit slow, but completely understandable considering the circumstances. Now on to the food! It's not pictured, but they gave the choclo (crunchy corn kernels) as a free little starter, which I looved. I also had a chicha morada, which was super refreshing. I ordered the lomo saltado, which was fantastic. They forgot to give me a steak knife, but I quickly found that the meat was so tender, I was easily able to cut it with my butter knife. Also, some lomo saltados are made with what seems to be cheap frozen fries, which really ruins the dish, but these tasted fresh and had just the right amount of crispiness. My husband ordered the arroz chaufa con pollo (basically Peruvian chicken fried rice) and WHOA. I wanted to steal his whole dish- delicious! It was sooo flavorful and I could taste ginger, scallions, and chicken in every bite. I loved it! In terms of ambiance, it's a really casual place. Super family friendly too- I saw lots of people bringing their small children. I also saw a large group of about 12 people sitting in the back, so they can accommodate large parties. All this, plus a full bar! I will definitely be back soon and will bring others!

My first line of business when I go back to Florida is to eat Peruvian food. Florida has probably best Peruvian food! I used to eat at Sr Ceviche in South Florida so I knew they would be good and they didn't disappoint. The service was great excellent and of course the food was delicious! We stopped here on our way into Florida and on our way out of Florida. Both times were perfect! If I had to complain about anything it would be the prices. They're very pricey!! The Lomo Saltado is remarkable! As is the Aji de Gallina and I also tried their Tallarin Verde with Lomo. The Yuca Ball appetizer is outstanding. It's not on the menu so make sure you ask for it. And don't forget the pitcher of Chicha Morada

Ample parking. We went to eat on a Sunday at 2pm and the place was busy. We waited 45 minutes before we could place drink and meal orders so that let us down a little. Our waitress was polite and helpful. Perhaps the team was overwhelmed with the number of customers. I learned that the restaurant recently expanded. The food was tasty and fresh. I would consider returning, perhaps at a less busy time.

The food here is incredible! The pictures just dont do it justice. All the dishes are full of flavor . Hands down the best ceviche i ever had in my life . This place makes me want to visit Peru now . Service was quick and the servers are always polite. My husband and I go to spot for date night . Shoutout to my Peruvian friend for introducing this restaurant to us . Cant wait to go back already.

Great place for food! My husband lived fried snapper and my daughter saw this restaurant and a picture that looked like a "birthday snapper". The food was great, the lemonade is perfect and the service was outstanding. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for Peruvian food.

I've only been to this restaurant back when it was still Corner Bistro Wine Bar, and that was ok…read more According to Yelp archives, it was for Sunday Brunch. Now let's try this new concept here. We decided to sit at the bar and we were handed menus on IPads. Wow, this is different. We can't order on it but it was simply a digital menu. We ordered a few things. For drinks we got the Lula's Blue Pisco (Pisco, blue curacao, coconut cream, agave, like and coconut rum) and a Peruvian Prince (Peruvian Pisco, passionfruit liquor, peach Schnapps, lime, bitters). Both drinks were strong but the Blue Pisco was skrong. We both liked the taste. We later ordered a Mi Amor (7 misterios Mezcal, muddled watermelon, passionfruit, lime). Also strong and I'm not a watermelon person, but it was hard to not enjoy it. For apps, we got the Totstones Achorados (green plantains, mussels, tomatoes, onions, cilantro) and the Chicharron de Atun (seasoned bluefin tuna crackling, fresh housemade guac, fried jalapeno, cambray onion). The Chicharron surprised me as I didn't think the little fish rounds would be such a tasty snack. And the guac was really creamy, not salty. The tostones were impressive. My man said that normally they would be very dry but these weren't. The toppings on them, while not bringing a strong flavor, were cool and refreshing. For entrees, we got the Pulpo A La Parrilla (grilled octopus, fried potatoes, salad) and the Arroz Chaufa with Steak (white rice, eggs, chopped onions, chopped bell peppers, ginger, and sesame oil). The latter is a Peruvian version of Chinese fried rice. This was delicious! The flavors were much stronger and bolder and he could only eat half of it at this point. The rest was taken home and tasted just as good 2 days later. The octopus was great. I didn't think that I would also be getting part of the head with my meal but I was fine with that. I saw some people complain about their octopus being too chewy but I honestly will eat it anyway. I love it. The Peruvian corn that topped it was so sweet and delicious. The side of remoulade I used for everything on my plate as it was a great dipping sauce. We were too full to get dessert and threw in the napkins. The ladies waiting on all of us were so kind and took great care of us. This is definitely a place we will be returning to.

We ordered the fried tuna bites with the guac for our app and it was honestly the best thing we had all night, our meals were blah my snapper was fried extremely hard and beat up (reference photos) the first time had to have them remake it, the second attempt came out looking better but was still overcooked, and the rice was under cooked but plantains were cool. My friend ordered the PESCADO A LO MACHO(not pictured) and it was very bland needed some seasoning.

We were in the mood for a South American restaurant and someone suggested here…read more Walking in we felt like the food was going to be fire as it gave off an atmosphere of home cooking and the "gathering house" where everyone goes to eat. I enjoyed seeing Peruvian culture being repped on all the walls. I had to Google some of the geoglyphs like the monkey one because it was cause for a great debate at our table. The young lady server was very nice and took good care of us. The menu? Everything sounded really good and we had a semi-hard time deciding what to get. We did start off with a Pisco Sour and a Maracuya cocktail. Both were pretty light and tasty. One co-worker had a tooth removed so all he could eat was soup so he ordered the Sopa de Dia which was chicken. He said it was pretty good for the big bowl he was served. One co-worker got the Bistec Apanado (deep fried steak with sides of meduros and fries). He said the steak was tough and his meduros were either not fully cooked or overcooked. Another co-worker got the Bistec A Lo Pobre (flank steak, rice, fries, meduros, fried eggs). She said the steak was tough too. Same problem with the meduros. The other co-worker got the Arroz Con Mariscos (mixed seafood yellow rice). His came out first and it smelled amazing. He's not a fan of cilantro and it was topped with it. He's one of those weirdos that the gene that cilantro tastes like soap lol. He still liked his food and at most of it. He left the calamari rings behind stating that they were too chewy for him. We all tried it and we were pretty split on the statement. I ordered the Mixto Ceviche (raw fish, calamari, and shrimp) with added spiciness. Don't ask me why I chose spicy, I just knew that it was going to be spicy as in more spice and not like spicy hot. It was very good even though I felt as if I had too much liquid on my plate. Sopping it up was out of the question as it was very sea-salty. I'm not sure who's child it was but a young guy came up to me and asked what I was eating I told him and then he walked away. Our table was confused by the reaction but he came back later to take some of our dishes to the back. Slightly odd. I'd come back. I need to try their Chicha Morada (purple corn drink)

I've been to Salento twice now, so I feel like I got a good sense of what they have to offer…read more I started with the carne empanadas, which came with complimentary chimichurri and hot sauce. They were crispy on the outside, warm on the inside, and filled with flavorful meat. The sauces paired perfectly with them and made an already great appetizer even better. For my entrée, I ordered the Bandeja Paisa, and it did not disappoint. The meats were the star of the plate. Everything was juicy, cooked perfectly, and seasoned just enough without being overpowering. The steak was surprisingly tender despite being well done, with just the right amount of fat. The sausage had a great snap, the egg was perfectly jammy, and the chicharrón was absolutely incredible--crispy, crunchy, and easily one of the best I've had. I didn't try the sweet plantains since I'm not a fan and they couldn't be substituted. The arepa was good, although nothing particularly memorable. The only parts of the meal I wasn't impressed with were the rice, which was a bit too salty for my taste, and the beans, which lacked flavor and were underwhelming. For dessert, I tried both the tiramisu and the chocolate cake. The tiramisu was just okay--it wasn't bad, but it didn't stand out, and I wouldn't order it again. The chocolate cake, however, was outstanding. It was incredibly moist, rich without being overly sweet, and the perfect way to end the meal. Overall, Salento does an amazing job with their meats, and that's what I'd recommend most. While a couple of the sides and one dessert didn't quite hit the mark for me, the empanadas, Bandeja Paisa, chicharrón, and chocolate cake were all excellent. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. The environment is pretty nice and quiet.
