I asked for an arch from a photo that I saw that was different than anything in their inventory or could be ordered and JC MADE THE ARCH. INSANE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Was disappointed with the process for florals for my wedding and the final arrangements fell short of what I asked for. More importantly though, had the weirdest incident on the day of our wedding where my husband (the groom) told the florist not to put a clear glass vase in the middle of the dance floor..., husband was ignored, vase obviously broke two seconds later, then the groom on his wedding day ended up cleaning up the mess, and now we're being charged $65 to replace the vase because we're being told that the florist said we told him to put it there... First, I sent very specific pictures of what I wanted for the centerpieces -- tall vases, half with banana leaves and the other half with big palm leaves. They said it wouldn't be a problem to match the photos. We get to our design meeting and the mock ups for our centerpieces are very different and half the size of the pictures we sent (see photos attached). I asked again for banana leaves and they pushed back saying they weren't sure if they'd be able to get banana leaves but if I really needed banana leaves they would try. From the beginning I said I wanted banana leaves so I don't know why they were making it seem like I was coming to them with such a big ask. The centerpieces ended up being better than the mock ups, but still much smaller than the original photo I sent but I was going to let it go because at least it was banana leaves instead of monstera. Then, the day of the wedding, a florist arrives with empty vases and buckets of cut greens to assemble everything on site. Florist puts a clear vase with just water on the floor in the middle of the dance floor. My husband sees this and immediately says not to put the vase there (as it's common sense not to put a glass vase in the middle of a busy walkway) and the florist says it is supposed to go there. My husband (the groom...) disagrees and says the centerpieces are not supposed to be in the aisle (they were never supposed to be in the aisle) but the florist dismisses his request and leaves the vase there. A few seconds later a member of the caterer's staff walks into the vase and it breaks, spilling water everywhere. Somehow, my husband, the groom on his wedding day, is handed a broom and he is the one who starts to clean the mess (don't know where the florist went) before the wedding planner saw and took over. My husband immediately comes to tell me and the bridal party this story because he thinks it's hilarious that he told the florist not to put the vase there and the guy ignored him and then the vase immediately broke. A few days after our wedding I get a notification that LAFC has charged us another $65. I then get an email saying we are responsible for paying for the vase that broke. I call and explain what happened saying that I don't think we should be responsible when my husband told the florist not to put the vase there, and as far as I knew, the arrangements were supposed to be made off site rather than being arranged at the venue. I detail the conversation my husband had with the florist. Over the next few conversations and emails this is the back and forth: -LAFC says that I told them to put the vases in the aisle at some point during the design process. This is simply not true. During the design meeting I asked for the diameter of the vases because I told them we were making pedestals to place 4 of the table centerpieces at the front of the ceremony by the altar. And I specifically was told by the floral designer that LAFC would not be responsible for moving the centerpieces from the ceremony space to the tables and I told him that the wedding planner would handle it as it would only be a few of the centerpieces, not all of them, and the rest of the centerpieces should already be set on the tables. -LAFC says their florist never once spoke to my husband. My husband detailed to me and to the whole bridal party the "hilarious" conversation he had with the florist minutes after the conversation happened. -Then LAFC says they spoke to their florist again and now he says it was the wedding planner who told him to put the vases in the aisle. But I just spoke to my wedding planner who said she ALSO told the florist NOT to put the vases down the aisle on the day of as we had never planned for that. But, LAFC says it's our fault because supposedly I (or the wedding planner?) told them to put the vases in the aisle and they have no recollection of my husband nor the wedding planner saying NOT to put them in the aisle. So apparently we have no say and are responsible for the vase. LAFC also said the prices went up so it's now $65 instead of the $50 they had originally quoted me when I asked how much to pay for the vase (I've found equivalent vases online for about $15-$20). I almost went with another vendor because LAFC charged us $700 for delivery and pickup, but now I really wish I had gone elsewhere because of the disappointment and frustration with LAFC on our wedding day. read more

My parents actually used Glendora Florist for their wedding and when I was researching florists I came across them and knew they would be perfect for my wedding. Dalel and JC were absolutely great to work with. I was an out of state bride and they were more than willing to work with my mom in person and myself on facetime. During the process, their communication was wonderful! I had to make a few changes regarding the amount of bridesmaids and groomsmen and they helped by rearranging some things to still keep me within a budget I felt comfortable with. They listened to everything I was wanting and made some absolutely STUNNING pieces. All of the florals lasted the entire day in the Southern California June heat and everyone raved about how beautiful the pieces were. We used LAFC for our wedding in Malibu and we were not disappointed! First of all, we had great interactions with them before we officially booked. We worked with Caitlin the whole time. She was very attentive and detail-oriented when it came to putting together a quote for us. She asked all the right questions and gave us quality advice on how to get the exact look we wanted. We changed things multiple times throughout planning and they were consistently emailing us back and checking on our quote to make sure it was perfect. Their prices were also very reasonable. Anytime you say the word "wedding" prices shoot up immediately. We we're thankful to get some relief with LAFC and their pricing. We were able to change our quote and have the price still stay the same, they just adjusted the flowers and arrangements they had. Delivery went so smoothly, and they were even nicer in person. We told them to do their thing and they set up EVERYTHING without a problem. They even used leftover flowers and arrangements to decorate other parts that we didn't necessarily ask for. They allowed us to send inspiration pictures for what we wanted and when they brought the flowers on the wedding day, they were EXACTLY what we told them we wanted. I booked them originally based on their photos via their instagram which were very nice however the service was terrible. The owner Dalel is sneaky and has stole my money!! I told her my bank account was hacked and my final payment to her got reversed because someone filed a claim on my behalf that was not me. I told her I canceled the claim and that they will refund her the money as soon as 7 business days. I told her this she was off time before the money got taken from her bank account so that there would not be any problems. three days later Dalel text me from her personal phone and demanded that I pay her an additional $892 or else she could not do my wedding that was in 3 weeks!! I panicked because my wedding was 3 weeks away and there was no way I could find another floral person so I paid her and she assured me that she would refund me my money as soon as she got the payment. Here we are 20 days later and she still has not refunded me my $892!! my bank confirmed that they sent payment back to her and even provided me with a letter of proof to give her. Dalel refused it and also is no longer answering my calls or emails but it's funny because when I booked with them they were very responsive and they are now ignoring me and refusing to give my money back. My consultation with Juan Carlos was great but I think they over promised and under delivered. They didn't use the flowers I asked for on my bridal bouquet and I was willing to pay more for my flowers if needed. Part of my bridal bouquet was damaged and it had brown spots on the white petals that were noticeable. We had to use particular side of the bouquet so the brown and damaged flowers weren't captured in the photos. On top of the that, my wedding coordinator asked that bride and groom personal flowers be delivered to the hotel and the rest of the wedding party's flowers to the venue. But they delivered all of our wedding party flowers to the hotel. It was a hassle transporting all the flowers to the venue. Other than that, rest of our flowers were ok. They left out the details that was on our contract so I personally wouldn't use them again. read more

"Centerpiece Floral Menu: White and blue Hydrangeas, dusty miller, quicksand roses, succulents, Veronicas, textures, curly willow and seeded eucalyptus (tucked in, hanging from bottom), queen annes lace, blue thistle Designed in Accent decor wooden boxes, please refer to the pictures. Size 1 X 1 ft long Full " From my understanding this reads that the centerpiece container should be 1 foot x 1 foot accent decor wooden boxes. On the day of our wedding, July 22, we received centerpieces that were in a wooden container that were 4 inches by 1 foot. This is significantly smaller than what was listed on the contract and this container should have never been delivered and set-up at our wedding. I immediately called and emailed the vendor stating our disappointment in what was delivered and told her to call us the following day. The Vendor did not reply to an email or phone call until Tuesday July 25. She mentioned her schedule was booked and did not have time to speak with us regarding this issue until the week after the wedding. She finally called us on August 2nd. Overall, she took 1.5 weeks to speak with us regarding this issue. I feel that her responsiveness was unprofessional and she should have spoken with us the next day. I do not feel the vendor attempted to be malicious, but I feel a major mistake was made regarding the size of the container and the vendor refused to admit their mistake and was adamant about not correcting the mistake with anything more than a simple apology. My wife and I are extremely dissapointed with her approach to this resolution and her response time. We feel we should have received a portion of the cost of the centerpieces back. Please take this into consideration before booking this vendor. read more
