I'm giving the company two stars because the mechanic did what I needed him to do which was jump my car battery. The problem I have is that I was quoted a flat fee of $69 over the phone but was charged $110 in person. I called the company twice and they told me both times that the price was $69 flat. The mechanic comes and afterwards says that a jump is $79 and then added some other bullshit charges he came up with. I told him that I was quoted something different and he said sometimes the phone operators quote the wrong price. Well that's my problem buddy! Get ya sh*t together!!! My car broke down in a parking structure of a shopping center around 4 pm. I called my insurance company since I knew I had a coverage of any roadside assistance. I requested to send out a tow truck with a flat bed. I waited about 3 hours to have three different tow truck companies show up and to tow my car. Each one of them had the same fantasy or excuse that my car is way too low, and they won't take the responsibility and the liability on them. They would ask me unnecessary questions regarding why is my vehicle so low and inform me that they couldn't tow it without raping it. Around 7pm, I took the law into my hands and started to look for a truly professional towing service by myself. I found Los Angeles Towing and read the reviews. It was a perfect five stars rating which you usually don't see for a towing company. So I called... The dispatch person was professional and cultivated over the phone. I asked him a million times if he was able of towing my car even though three other companies just said it was hopeless impossible. He guaranteed me that he will do that within few minutes, easily and that they do it all the time. I was very skeptic acknowledging my car is about few inches above the ground, but he insisted. The driver arrived 25 minutes later and loaded my car on his flatbed like there was no big deal. I was simply amazed. He used custom wood to get low cars on his flatbed. I had a fleet vehicle break down for the service company I work for and my tech was stranded at a hospital in the parking garage when his truck wouldn't start. I called several places that couldn't help me or didn't have anyone available. Then I found LA Towing Services on Google and they were able to perform the initial service I requested of trying to jump start the truck. When that didn't work because the problem was more severe, they provided the small tow truck to get our service vehicle out of the parking garage then a flat bed as well to tow our truck down to orange county. The dispatcher was very attentive and knew me by name because of how many times I called throughout the process and was so patient with me. I have a Mini Cooper and my battery died in the parking structure. I called mini roadside and was quoted 99$ for a tow.. I thought I could get a better price so I called these guys. I specifically asked for a jump start and they quoted me 55$. I didn't hear them wrong and mix up my numbers that's the price they quoted me. The guy that came was charging me 130$, I told him how much I was quoted and so he said what if I take off 20$. I felt like my hands were tied and had him jump start my car which took 2 min. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Lisa M. was so right. They quoted me $90.00 total for a tow of a few miles. I confirmed that the total amount of the tow was "nine-zero total". Turns out they charged me $185, the extra charges allegedly being for "labor". When I called the owner of the business, Erick, to inquire about why I was being charged over and above the rate originally quoted, he told me it was because my car was 4-wheel drive, which supposedly cost more. I pointed out that when I first called and got the quote I was asked the make and model of the car, which any legitimate towing company would recognize IS a four-wheel drive. I was then told the "manager" would call me the next day to rectify the situation. That was a week ago and no one will return my calls. Wish I could give it no stars. read more

This company provides the best service ever.I went to Santa Monica because I had my first IELTS test. I locked my keys inside my car and I was stuck in parking structure in Santa Monica for more than 8 hours hours so I called random company they came late and they spent three hours trying to open the car and they couldn't open it. They say I have to call a tow truck and take it to mechanic, and that's gonna cost me almost $300. Suddenly I found this company on Google and I called them.
