My husband and I tried this place a few years back (about 6 years ago) and it was not the best so we never went back until today when a co worker suggested we try it again since my boss had tried it before as well and was not impressed either. The food we ordered was great and the service too until I ordered a burrito to go, I asked the server how the burritos were served and he said it was basically the meat with rise, beans etc... when the server brought it out the bag felt a bit too light so I opened it thinking it was just chips and salsa but to my surprise the "burrito" plate was in there too and when I looked inside it was literally just two tacos with just meat inside and nothing else. I even thought they gave me the wrong order so I asked the server if that was supposed to be the burrito and he said yes. I told him these were just two tacos and he still insisted that it was a burrito cut in half to fit the plate when I can clearly see it's two tortillas with just meat. The server said nothing else and walked away, he never addressed the issue again and when I got the bill for it the total was $12 so I basically paid $12 for two plain tacos. I felt really compelled to tell him I didn't want it any more or exchanging it for something else but was afraid I would be in the same situation or worse. I'd say if you try this place DO NOT order to go because you'll be stuck in this predicament and I'm saying this because my co worker ordered a desert to go and based on the pictures and what she got the difference was really disappointing. I would go back for a sit down meal again for the food but will probably not go back due to the lack of accountability and customer service from the staff. read more

I'm torn. Some good food items and some, eh, food items. Service was fantastic. This place has a "there was a party here last night" feel to it. And their missing items on the menu proves it. Out of almost all their beers, bottle and draft. Broken frozen margarita machine. Ordered the rollos Fajita. Texas style. Beef/ chicken/ shrimp. Any item on the menu can get all three meats, for shrimp prices. Beef - tough. Chicken - good. Shrimp - ok. Beens - ok. Rice - ok. The weirdest thing was the guac-salad with the pico, lettuce and sour cream, was the best thing I had. Cold mug with my DosEquies - nice. Out of fired ice cream. Passed on chocolate chimi. Mini - churros - ok. Sooooooo, just ok. Fun booths. Open room. Easy to seat large parties. Note for Owner: hide silver rolling table in another place. I order from this restaurant thru Uber Eats today. I ordered a super burrito, tamale,and rice. I requested steak for my burrito, it looks like they used fajita meat for it. The pieces of steak were too long and tough. All of the food was cold. The tamale was small, salty and had very little meat. The rice was fine, just cold. My family and I popped because we were in the area and craving Mexican food on a rainy day. Our first red flag should have been the empty parking lot at dinner time. We proceeded to go inside because....we were hungry... we sat down and ordered drinks and cheese dip. The waiter was efficient but didn't exactly inspire confidence. The chips were burnt and stale. They need to change this menu, is like a kids menu everything has cheese dip. They probably have some teens cooking, cheese it up!! My 2 year old even ask what is that? Lasting impression that is not favorable. It's unfortunate because I love Mexican food. Order a chile relleno and it was super hard to eat because it was overcooked. I also ordered the loco rice, grilled steak taco, guacamole dip, and cheese dip. Everything just tasted bland. The best thing was the grilled steak taco with fresh onions and cilantro. A few adjustments to the cooking process to add a little flavor and I believe this restaurant will be a hit. Good location in Hiram. Great service, delicious food. My shrimp was tender and everything was very fresh with developed flavors. Our server was very polite and attentive. Very large, pretty restaurant with a nice atmosphere. My sangria was 'on point'; my hubby's mojito had him tipsy and that is no easy feat. They have $3 margaritas and do karaoke Sat. night? I give this place 4 stars. The food was pretty good. I personally had the street tacos with steak, and a side of avocado. They also have the option to substitute the steak for grilled chicken. I did also try a bite of my husbands taco salad. Wasn't really impressed by that at all. The food is decently priced. Opted for this restaurant due to rave reviews in an area that we aren't familiar with. We came with 8 people. Upon arriving we were seated immediately. Our server was young and inattentive. They brought out chips and salsa immediately which was great because we were all starving. Unfortunately, the chips, queso, and salsa were the best part of the meal. I ordered the street tacos - carne asada- and they were very dry! The hubs had the super burrito which was also dull. Our server was not interactive at all! This can make or break an experience. Updating my review - we had that one bad night, but every other evening we go here, service and the food has been outstanding. A couple of the staff recognize us when we come in and they know what we want to drink and that we most likely will want the cheese dip with the jalapeño peppers. The street tacos are amazing. The employees were really nice, my server was probably one of the best I ever had-this is where the compliments end...the food was TERRIBLE...my food was soooo salty it was inedible, one of my sons had the same issue with his food, my other son's food was so bland he was dumping all the condiments he could find on it. Good drinks, enchiladas verdes were a solid combination of savory, sour and salty, with rice and beans being average. Generally a later dinner crowd; get here before 6pm and you'll be mingling with just the servers in this massive establishment. The server wasn't wearing a mask and I have underlying health problems that could be detrimental if I contracted Covid. My wife and I ate here for the first time tonight. Chips were hot, fresh and crispy and the salsa was uber fresh and just enough kick. Cheese dip was creamy and very rich with just enough jalapeño. My Margarita was really solid. I had the super burrito with steak and it was very good. A good mix of tastes and very fresh. Nothing had that reheated or old taste that you can find in some restaurants. Both entrees had plenty of food with a good serving of sour cream and guacamole etc. My wife had the fajita quesadilla and loved it enough to bring home the leftovers which she rarely does. Service was exemplary. We had 4-5 different people check on us while we there and our waiter had our drinks replaced before we could empty the originals. With 2 sodas, a large margarita, an app and 2 dinner sized entrees we barely broke the $40 mark. We have a New Mexican place!! read more

This was my second trip to Los Arcos. Our waitress was Libby who was very attentive and very polite. Had the burrito wrap, taquitos, and chicken chimichanga. The food has nice flavor and the hot sauce is hot!!! First time the Pina colada we're in a small glass but this time Libby brought them in nice big glasses. Price is affordable, and the tacos are good as well (previous visit). Prior visit we had Jorge who was pleasant as well. The food is good not like the big name chains in Hiram. Definitely will be our spot again. Highly recommend and if you get Libby or Jorge you will have a good experience. read more

I was really expecting good things because of all the positive reviews, but my experience here fell way short. As I read in some of the other reviews, the chips were a little stale. The salsa was bland, and my seafood burrito was drowned in thick cheese sauce. It really needed some acid to brighten it up. The service was okay, but not outstanding. Los Arcos may be a 4+ star place in Hiram, but there are plenty of Mexican restaurants I'd rather eat at in Powder Springs, Marietta, Douglasville, and elsewhere. read more
