Very Disappointing Customer Service at Moe's I had a very frustrating experience at this Moe's location today. The pricing for my order was handled inconsistently, and when I questioned it, the employee seemed to be making up the pricing as she went along. I ordered my usual meal kit with two extra chicken portions, which equals four cups of chicken total. I understand that the first two cups are $1.99 each and the additional two are $2.99 each. However, I was being charged as though I had ordered six cups instead of four. I explained that I regularly purchase this meal kit and have never been charged for six cups when I only received four. The cashier then called the manager to confirm the price. The manager told her that the price was $2.99 in the system, but instead of simply following the price in the system, she proceeded to argue with him over the phone about the same pricing. My issue isn't with paying the correct price--it's the inconsistent pricing, lack of professionalism, and the way the situation was handled. If the price is $2.99 in the system, then the employee should follow the system rather than creating or changing the pricing based on what she believes the meal should cost. I hope management addresses this because customers shouldn't have to argue over pricing that should already be clearly established in the register. On January 12, 2026, I placed an online order at 6:00 PM, and the system indicated it would be ready by 6:19 PM. I arrived at the store at 6:19 PM to pick up my order. When I arrived, the cashier asked for my name and checked with the two employees preparing the food. She returned and told me it would be ready shortly. However, several minutes passed, and I observed one of the employees pull my order ticket from the machine and set it aside, then proceed to take and complete orders for customers who walked in after I had already arrived. At that point, I became very frustrated, as my order was clearly delayed even though staff knew I was waiting. The cashier continued checking on my order and was the only employee who appeared attentive and helpful throughout the process. I finally received my order at 6:30 PM, well past the promised pickup time. When I got home, the experience was even more disappointing. My burrito was only half wrapped, and the chips were so salty they were inedible. After the extended wait and feeling overlooked, the food quality was unacceptable. Additionally, the overall cleanliness and staff attentiveness at this location appear to be declining. Aside from the cashier who tried to assist, there was a noticeable lack of urgency and care. This restaurant needs management attention, as continued issues like this will likely result in lost customers. But this day was extremely slow...maybe waiting for fresh cooked food...unsure but the line wasn't moving and by the time we left it was hooked around to the aisle near the tables where people were sitting. The chicken had very little flavor, the person serving the food acted like it was not his pleasure to add the ingredients ask asked for. I would have done it myself if I could have. Then, the food was too salty. I just moved to Dallas, but I used to go to the Moe's on the East West Connector in Austell. Their bowls were tastier and the staff were friendly. Moes is not my favorite but my friend invited me so I went. I had the Moo moo Mr. Cow. I had chicken, cilantro rice, black beans, and pico in it. It was warm, not hot. I prefer my food hot! I mean who doesn't? My friend ordered a veggie quesadilla. She said it was good. We tried their pineapple salsa which I thought was disgusting. She said it had too much cilantro. On May 1st I was so impressed with the staff. The line continued to be long then go away then long again. I could see the staff was really working to get the meals prepared for the customers. I wanted to let the management know that there was only 4- young ladies working including the cashier... they were so pleasant and worked efficiently to prepare the requested meals. They handled the food with care, continuing to change gloves as needed and all With a smile. Customer service on this day was completely above board. I will continue to patronize this Moe's location because the staff worked together and with a smile and made customers feel welcomed , appreciated, not rushed. I never leave reviews even if the experience wasn't the best, but this time was just laughable. I asked for half chicken and half steak but was given maybe 8 pieces of meat total AND I was still charged extra for the CHICKEN. Was rung up for STEAK (the more expensive meat) and then they still added a fee for the chicken despite not giving a full scoop of either meat. Food wasn't even wrapped properly or placed in a paper bag. Just thrown in the plastic bag. The meat was dry and had no flavor, had to ask the workers for an extra piece of foil so my food could be PROPERLY wrapped. Skip moes and go to chipotle, these guys are back to squeezing every nickel and dime while still skimping on portions and giving you obviously reheated meat and veggies. Worst Moes we have been to. Tiny portions compared to other places. Cashier, who was also the manager, tried to overcharge us until I started asking questions about why it was almost $20 for two burritos and two drinks on Moes Monday. She fixed it to about $17 after being grumpy about it. Also- the manager wouldn't take my husband's birthday coupon because it was on his phone and not printed. First time any Moes we have been to has ever not taken a phone coupon. When we mentioned to one of the girls on staff about how it was slick by the door, she told her manager, and the manager yelled at her about how she had already put out a rubber mat and that was enough. The rubber mat did nothing to help keep the water from the rain off the floor. What a rude woman, and a huge safety hazard. Don't be rude to customers, and don't treat your staff badly. read more

Never been to the Hiram Moe's. The preparing/cooking area was disgusting! There was food, serving-ware, rubber gloves, food containers laying all over the place. Every surface was covered with something. All the separate serving containers were spilling into their neighbors. The bathroom was equally disgusting. Its a single toilet that was just gross. This is an update review. I was irritated by an employee that prepared my veggie burrito. She asked me the usual. She wanted to know exactly what I wanted. She really upset me to know end, when she asked if I wanted meat on my burrito. I told her no meat. As she added the ingredients I asked for tofu. Then she stopped in her tracks and said with a raised tone. So you do want me! I looked at her with such a surprised expression that she would loud talk me and make me appear to be an idiot. Since when did tofu turn into a meat? It didn't come from an animal, it's not meat! She said, here we consider it a meat. So you do want meat as she slapped it on my burrito. i thought she was very rude and this isn't the last of this. I will be writing a letter to corporate, because no one has every talked to me in this tone in Moes and no one has ever told me tofu was meat. In case the employees at this location didn't know. Tofu is the soybeans from soy milk. Where is the meat in this? She insisted on charging me for having meat. If you want to say that tofu is extra then say so, but don't tell me tofu is freaking meat! Update: The manager from the location called to apologize . She explained that tofu will be charged as if it were meat. She was truly sorry for the employees bad attitude . Service here is sometimes slow. The employees are either antisocial or rude. The dining area constantly looks grungy. The food is really good, so I have been here a few times. I got a coupon for my b-day and decided to use it. I ordered the homewrecker with chicken. The server decided that I wanted beef instead and I reminded him that I requested chicken and he gave me the disgusted look. He re-steamed the burrito and proceeded. I got all the fixins that I like some chips and a drink. The salsa selection only had mild, no hot like I prefer. When I took a bit of the mammoth burrito, I noticed one thing; it was refrigerator cold. The mild salsas were ok and my experience was just ok. This location is closest to my school and I have gone on both teacher work days when we are able to go grab lunch. Both times I have been let down. The food is not fresh. The beans are usually crusty on the top from sitting around too much without being mixed or replaced. The portion size here is MUCH smaller than at other locations. I ordered chicken nachos and was given enough chicken to cover about 3 chips. The prices were also higher than the other location I go to. If I am going to pay that kind of money for nachos, I expect it to be worth it. Service was eh. Not great, but not horrible. They seem to just want to get people in and out though. read more

The staff must be under strict orders to give their customers as little food as possible! Maybe that's why they're so unfriendly? For example, a regular "Joey Bag of Donuts" burrito at this location is approximately 1/2 to 3/4 the size it is at any other location. One person in my party ordered a burrito bowl, which was more expensive than the comparable burrito. When she asked for a bit more dressing on it, the employee gave her a disgusted look and said that it would be at an additional cost! Then I almost laughed out loud when I received my receipt from this visit. They actually had the nerve to charge me .15 for a glass of water! What? This isn't California or New York City. Instead of getting the moe Monday deal they charged me for regular price then took off 3$....... I am officially not eating here anymore. They can't be trusted. WORST MOE'S EVER!!! If you want to see how not to run a MOE'S or a business for that matter I highly recommend the place. The employees are more afraid of the owners than trying to satisfy the paying customer. My wife and I would rather drive to the Dallas location than go to this one. But we decided to chance it big mistake. First of they skimp on the food. Don't know if they use smaller spoons or if they ate taught to hold the spoon a certain way to not give the full amount. But on this occasion we decided to go because we already had passed the Dallas location. I was using the Moes App. I stood in line told the guy I had a coupon from the app. First he said they didn't accept it. But another employee said the manager said we did accept it. Got to the register an the girl said they didn't accept it. I explained I asked before I ordered. That burned me. One employee said of you knew the owners you would understand. Pitifully! I work at the health department and First of all it was my first time coming to this place and as soon as we walked in we weren't greeted at all we were standing there and my husband had to get someones attention. We got our food and as soon as we were going to sit down I saw that everything was real dirty. Trash on the floor like it hadn't been swept for days and tables that weren't even cleaned and had crumbs. They weren't even busy yesterday when we came in so I know that they had the time to clean up. The people who own this place apparently treat their employees poorly because every time I've been the staff is completely different. I have also heard one of the guys who owns or manages this moes talk down to his employees when I've been in and that's just degrading and completely unprofessional.
