The positives: we had a great waiter. He was attentive and very friendly. The queso was probably the best I've ever had. It had a lot more flavor than the queso's we usually get. Very well done. The ambience in here is great too. The food was just ok. My daughter got fish tacos and said they lacked some flavor. I got a chili relleno enchiladas. It was a very cool concept but the sauce was so thin, the tortilla kind of soaked it right in. I guess I prefer a thicker enchilada sauce. It took awhile to get our food, which I didn't love. We used to go to the Broken Arrow location, but it's always so busy and the parking lot is a nightmare. We noticed on our trips to Owasso that this location had much better parking and didn't seem quite as crazy busy. The food was even better than expected! I think it was better than any of the other Los Cabos locations I've been to. And the service was spot-on! All 4 of us were very satisfied with our meals. The only complaint, with all 4 of us being over 50, was the low lighting. We used to be pretty big Cabo fans, but of late, there's not much to impress me. The food is still reasonably good, but the prices have just gotten out of hand. The Kid always gets a taco salad, and at $16 and change, I just can't see the value. It's a taco salad. There's no reason it should be that expensive. Recently The Wife, The Kid and I met a couple of friends for lunch, and with a tip, our bill (FOR LUNCH) was north of $70. Sorry, call me cheap, but that just doesn't cut it for me. I'm upping this a star because my lunch there today was totally better than average. I had the El Paso (steak street taco with a cheese enchilada). I always get the black beans. Am a fan. It's been awhile since we visited the owasso Loss Cabos. We stopped by and give it another try. We really couldn't see much change except considerable wear on the booth seats. The restaurant was clean, but in need of a good facelift. The complimentary chips and salsa were good as usual. My wife ordered cheese enchiladas with rice and refried beans. My grandparents come here weekly. My mom and I were in town so we joined them for lunch. Our server was Eli. Eli went above and beyond for us. Our service was terrible unfortunately and the food was even worse. I really try to find the positive side of any experience, but truly this was an awful $80 dinner for 2 adults and 2 kids. In the area for nephews baseball game....and it was lunch time! I love Mexican and this definitely hit the spot. The queso was super yummy and the salsa was stellar. I am a fan of medium salsa with full flavor and this had it! They do have a great variety on the menu. Our server Taran (sorry if I mispelled) did a marvelous job. Our drinks were never empty and his service with a smile (under the mask) was very appreciated. He and the kitchen staff should be commended. If in the area again we definitely will stop in. Overall, the food is mediocre, lacking flavor, and overpriced. Drinks were the same & I really recommend avoiding the Paloma. On the positive side, the queso is excellent & the best I have had in a very long time. Their chips are also excellent. Salsas were average. When we drop $100+ for dinner for two, we look for better quality. We had never tried this location & we are now done with this restaurant chain. Too bad, we really do enjoy good Mexican food. They immediately sat me in a booth by the bar also maintaining every other booth social distance measure place which I appreciated. I had never been over there before and the ambiance and the bar were nice to look at and tvs. I ordered the Cadillac margarita I believe is what it was called. The queso was good however they unnecessarily put onion in it or maybe that was the pico but the cilantro in it was a nice touch! I am trying to be good (new year) I ordered the margarita lime chicken salad it was such a huge portion that I wish I had more avocado in it. That's my only complaint and the hubs said his brisket tacos were okay but not memorable. I tried a piece of the pork and thought it tasted amazing. He always does double rice with queso on top and he said it was very good. We ordered sopapilla and we both agreed they were the best we've had in awhile! It is with a heavy heart that I update my review for this place with one star instead of the stellar one that I had given them previously. DISCLAIMER: This is not a reflection of the yummy dishes I've tried nor the stellar customer service I've received by bartenders, waiters/waitresses, AND cooks. Only it's poor management and dumb company policies. It is World Cup season. The most watched and awaited for event that comes once every four years. Mexicans are some of the top futbol fans. So it is only logical, as a business/restaurant owner/manager (especially of a Mexican-inspired one) to provide offers/deals/specials during this time to attract viewers and therefore customers to their venue and tap into the money making that goes on during the season. So Los Cabos is taking advantage of that right? Nope. NOT SO. Instead, they're doing the exact opposite, which makes absolutely no sense. When "company policies" compromise your revenue making ability, you should probably question/change/make exceptions to them and seek to please as wide and a diverse range of customers as possible. After having watched the entire first half of the Mexico vs Cameroon game on the channel of my choice (thanks Stephanie!), the manager rudely made the bartender turn off the volume during halftime while I walked off for a second. When I come back, the bartender informs me that she had orders to do so because it is against their rules. I proceed to talk to the manager and inform her that the game is the only reason why I came in and while halftime would be a prime opportunity for me to leave and find another watch spot, having a full margarita and a hot plate of food is not exactly convenient. She then goes on about how it's company policy to have the volume off on all TVs (even during the Super Bowl-which is hard for me to believe and if so, that's just dumb/good to know!) since Los Cabos is not a sports bar. NOTED. I must have communicated my exasperation enough for her to "allow" a low volume on the only TV at the bar. For the record, I was the ONLY customer at the bar side of the restaurant for the entire first half AND when people came in, I asked if having the volume on bothered then and they said "absolutely NOT", especially at the bar area. If the policy's reasoning is to not disturb customers, then I can tell you right now, it doesn't. I've heard of other restaurants not being able to turn up the volume due to some weird subscription requirement. That's a bit more understandable if explained in a nice manner, but it wasn't. So the bottom line here is it's not what you do, but really the way you do it. Needles to say, this is the LAST time I'll attempt to watch a game here and probably the last time I come in to this location (such lack of regard for customer satisfaction leaves a bad mouth taste if you know what I mean). Oh and this other American customer mentioned how TVs were on all the time on another location (maybe Jenks?). So, they not only have lost MY meaningless business, but also all of my friends' and soccer loving peeps. This is what bad business management is all about. Way to go Cabos. And I didn't even go into the way you treat your own Hispanic staff... Anyways, thanks for allowing me to vent Yelp. I feel much better now. :0) read more

We called 1 minute before entering and asked what the wait time for 4 and a high chair was and were told that there was "No immediate wait" but when we came in we were told it'd be a 30-45 minute wait because the person on the phone didn't hear the part about the high chair... which I don't understand how that effects anything since the high chair goes at the end of the table. But then we were lied to again by the manager saying "multiple people were also just seated" when there were only two people in front of us that had just walked in at the same exact time as us. The food here is super great but the customer service has been less than satisfactory the last 3 times we've been here and I've waited until now to post anything. Do better Los Cabos. So i'll be honest here, the regular salsa needs some work, but the warm salsa is pretty good.. I end up mixing mine together and many times with the queso.. This brings me to one thing that you have to watch out for.. Runny queso.. If it's liquefied like milk, it ain't gonna be good. A few times we have had that problem, but they try to fix it. So the food is pretty darn good, and their flautus platter is my goto. There is so much cheese in that thing, you can technically split this dinner with someone and still be full! My next goto is their fajitas... mmmmmmmm ya... If you are going to measure a Mexican place by their food, this is one that won't disappoint you! I have had their enchiladas before, but I wasn't wow'd by them, they are good, don't get me wrong but i think the red sauce and combo just was ok.. If you aren't sure what you want, just get the sampler and you will be happy. The taco salad is pretty good too if you want to pretend to eat "good." Oh and try the guac.. I like it. read more
