I hope they are using Ebay prices for items that actually sold, not what are being asked It is staffed by all volunteers and last year they gave $1 million to the Hill Country Youth Ranch. That sounds like a lot but given expenses have been exceeding revenue by over $1 million a year the Youth Ranch Foundation continues to cover it but their money won't last for ever. I have friends who moved to the Big Springs Ranch for Children in Leaky which is part of HCYR to be volunteer live in grand parents. Beautiful setting with a working ranch, charter school and chapel but I believe only 2 of their 6 cabins are in use now. It's hard to get staff when you are that far from a good sized town.
