I found the place through Yelp. Phenomenal food - authentic, homemade, delicious. Staff are so friendly.

Was looking for something to fulfill Taco Tuesday... found this by accident. We stopped in it was 8pm. Was a bit worried because the place was empty, but decided to give it a shot. Glad we stopped. The food was delicious! It has Mexican food options and Guatemalan food options. Portions were pretty hefty. The tortillas that are given with dinner were homemade, but the tortillas that are used for the tacos are not. But it was ok it was still yummy.

After spending 40 minutes on yelp trying to figure out where to get a late dinner, Los Chapines Tortilleria piqued my interest. While it was a risk to try a new eatery 20 minutes before they closed, I took the chance, called them and asked if it was okay to order, the friendly voice on the other end said "of course, we don't close until 9:30". After getting a few questions answered and learning the difference between a standard tamale and a Guatemalan tamale, I dashed over to pickup my food. After I chatted with the gentleman for a few minutes about how long they'd been open (since 2020) and how business was going (slowly improving) I headed home with my surprisingly heavy, steaming, well packaged order. I opened the bags to some of the tastiest pastor tacos I've ever had. Tender, flavorful, fresh and the green and red sauce, though a little thin, complemented the juicy meat perfectly. The tamale, while flavorful and beautiful wrapped in the banana leaf, was not my favorite texturally. The portion size was like 2-3 regular tamales. So, pretty hefty. Can't wait to head back and try more food. Price was very reasonable, excellent service and food was hot and fresh, even though I ordered right before closing, which is something that I'm not trying to make a habit. Anyway, please go here, order the pastor tacos and thank me later!!

Food and service were excellent. The tacos are authentic street tacos and are delicious. The price is fair.

We use to go here before 2020 & it closed. We heard it's now under new ownership and freshly…read moreremodeled so decided to check it out. Dinner for 6 and it was all delicious! Outside the restaurant looks very unassuming, inside says a whole different story. The inside is nice and bright with comfortable seating, lots of space, and the larger tables had the trusty Lazy Susan in middle so everyone could enjoy all the dishes without passing. We were warmly welcomed right away. It was colder Thursday so it wasn't too busy. The servers were all friendly and attentive, and I'm imagining they're the same on a busy day. It is a small family business (including their child sitting at a table watching his cartoons while munching on noodles) which brings a nice level of coziness and attentiveness. The music was playing softly, just enough that we could hear it and yet not so loud we couldn't hear each other. We ordered quite a few dishes. Egg rolls - crispy and well filled with ingredients. Sweet & sour sauce was the packets. Pot stickers - very good, the dipping sauce was an excellent accompaniment Fried shrimp - kinda reminded me of the fried shrimp in a box, but it was still good. Chicken fried rice - definitely can taste the yummy "wok hei" to it which makes restaurant fried rice so delicious. There were a generous amount of chicken, not overly cooked with just enough bean sprouts to give it a nice texture crunch. I would come back just to order this again! Beef chow mein with pan fried noodles - the noodles were perfectly crispy while there was enough sauce to coat the rest of the noodles creating a nice well balanced dish. Lots of tender beef and vegetables. Triple delight in a bird nest bowl - this is a nice pretty dish with a good assortment of proteins. The chicken was velvety, shrimp was plump, and the beef was tender. The outside edible "bird's nest" shell as good, though I'm not sure if it was freshly fried that moment. Plain fish filet is very fresh! This was one of the favorites for all 6 of us. It came with just enough vegetables to give the dish color, but not be a filler. There was a lot of fish to our order. Shrimp with honey walnut - probably the 2nd favorites. The shrimps were large and well cooked with a nice crunch, the sauce was just sweet enough but not overly drenched. The walnuts were fresh and crunchy creating a nice harmony in a bite. Beef brisket bowl - my personal favorite! The beef brisket was so tender and juicy! I could have just eaten this dish with a big bowl of rice. It arrived at the table bubbling hot, the bean curd (tofu) pieces were soft and tender, not overcooked and mushy. The flavors blended together with a nice saucy gravy. Yum! Mixed vegetables - not our most favorite. Although there was a nice assortment of vegetables, the sauce was kind of thick and took away from the idea of having "healthy veggies." Our meal ended with fortune cookies and almond cookies. Everything was plentiful and we have leftovers for a couple of days. The portions were definitely generous. The service was top notch. Our tea was refilled and long with our water without us asking. The rice was freshly cooked, soft and fluffy jasmine rice. Next time I want to try the ramen and a few other dishes like the salt and pepper shrimp. We wanted lobster, but it's a preorder item so it would be fresh. I completely understand that they want to make sure everything served is the freshest possible so next time we will call and preorder the lobster 24 hours before dining.

A great value and delicious cooking. To clarify, this place…read moreis not byob, they have a modest assortment of alcoholic drinks available. However for a $20 corkage fee you can bring your own bottle of wine. We noticed oddly there is no white wine available. A nice family-owned traditional higher-quality Chinese restaurant with dine-in and carry out options. No delivery. Bit of an odd vibe with unusual decorations and people of all ages running about.

I loved that they have all year specialty drinks as well as seasonal options. They serve breakfast, lunch, and early dinner with options like coffee, tea, cocktails, smoothies, sandwiches, pastries, salads, bowls and more! This visit, I tried The Michelle Obama Latte as it felt springy to me. The rosemary and orange blossom flavors were subtle but definitely there. It wasn't overwhelming which made me love it! Another popular item is their Maple Brown Sugar Latte. I definitely prefer this location over Chicago's but I'm happy they have the same offerings at both.

I had the AP Breakfast Sandwich which was bigger but nothing spectacular. As we were standing in line we considered leaving to go to a breakfast place but we wanted to support local and try something new. I wish we left that line. The menu also labeled all sandwiches come with chips or salad, we didn't get that with our order. The coffee was good, if I ever came back it would only be to get that but not worth parking and going inside to wait for it. The only good thing I can say was the staff was very friendly. Likely won't be back. Overpriced. Mediocre. Mislabeled menu. Left the place wanting more.

You can tell they care about quality and customer service (always offering something at the window ). That said, the prices are a bit higher than what I'd expect for a standard coffee shop in the area. Also, the line can get pretty long, and the parking lot setup isn't always the most convenient when it's busy. The line can move pretty slow, so don't recommend if you are in a rush. The staff is great, welcoming and friendly, which definitely makes the experience better. Overall, a good place to grab coffee if you don't mind a little wait!

It is a drive thru only spot which is nice when it's not busy. Even though this drink wasn't on their physical drive thru menu, the person that was taking orders quickly validated it did exist and the wild internet was not lying to me.
