We use to go here before 2020 & it closed. We heard it's now under new ownership and freshly remodeled so decided to check it out. Dinner for 6 and it was all delicious! Outside the restaurant looks very unassuming, inside says a whole different story. The inside is nice and bright with comfortable seating, lots of space, and the larger tables had the trusty Lazy Susan in middle so everyone could enjoy all the dishes without passing. We were warmly welcomed right away. It was colder Thursday so it wasn't too busy. The servers were all friendly and attentive, and I'm imagining they're the same on a busy day. It is a small family business (including their child sitting at a table watching his cartoons while munching on noodles) which brings a nice level of coziness and attentiveness. The music was playing softly, just enough that we could hear it and yet not so loud we couldn't hear each other. We ordered quite a few dishes. Egg rolls - crispy and well filled with ingredients. Sweet & sour sauce was the packets. Pot stickers - very good, the dipping sauce was an excellent accompaniment Fried shrimp - kinda reminded me of the fried shrimp in a box, but it was still good. Chicken fried rice - definitely can taste the yummy "wok hei" to it which makes restaurant fried rice so delicious. There were a generous amount of chicken, not overly cooked with just enough bean sprouts to give it a nice texture crunch. I would come back just to order this again! Beef chow mein with pan fried noodles - the noodles were perfectly crispy while there was enough sauce to coat the rest of the noodles creating a nice well balanced dish. Lots of tender beef and vegetables. Triple delight in a bird nest bowl - this is a nice pretty dish with a good assortment of proteins. The chicken was velvety, shrimp was plump, and the beef was tender. The outside edible "bird's nest" shell as good, though I'm not sure if it was freshly fried that moment. Plain fish filet is very fresh! This was one of the favorites for all 6 of us. It came with just enough vegetables to give the dish color, but not be a filler. There was a lot of fish to our order. Shrimp with honey walnut - probably the 2nd favorites. The shrimps were large and well cooked with a nice crunch, the sauce was just sweet enough but not overly drenched. The walnuts were fresh and crunchy creating a nice harmony in a bite. Beef brisket bowl - my personal favorite! The beef brisket was so tender and juicy! I could have just eaten this dish with a big bowl of rice. It arrived at the table bubbling hot, the bean curd (tofu) pieces were soft and tender, not overcooked and mushy. The flavors blended together with a nice saucy gravy. Yum! Mixed vegetables - not our most favorite. Although there was a nice assortment of vegetables, the sauce was kind of thick and took away from the idea of having "healthy veggies." Our meal ended with fortune cookies and almond cookies. Everything was plentiful and we have leftovers for a couple of days. The portions were definitely generous. The service was top notch. Our tea was refilled and long with our water without us asking. The rice was freshly cooked, soft and fluffy jasmine rice. Next time I want to try the ramen and a few other dishes like the salt and pepper shrimp. We wanted lobster, but it's a preorder item so it would be fresh. I completely understand that they want to make sure everything served is the freshest possible so next time we will call and preorder the lobster 24 hours before dining. read more

A great value and delicious cooking. To clarify, this place is not byob, they have a modest assortment of alcoholic drinks available. However for a $20 corkage fee you can bring your own bottle of wine. We noticed oddly there is no white wine available. A nice family-owned traditional higher-quality Chinese restaurant with dine-in and carry out options. No delivery. Bit of an odd vibe with unusual decorations and people of all ages running about. read more

They remodeled this place as the last time I came here, although that has been over 10 years ago. I really enjoyed my eating experience here. Everything is fresh new and enjoyable. Service was good, food was good, and overall done experience great. Will dine here again. read more

My family would frequent Tasty Cuisine prior to the change in ownership. Walking in lived up to the "NEW Tasty Cuisine" name. It felt like a completely different restaurant. I was floored by all the upgrades and renovations. The floor was no longer the dark, dingy, red traditional Chinese designs. It was replaced with marble, tiled, rectangle tiles. The chairs were upgraded to modern rounded top chairs that were soft, seafoam colored and cushioned. The plates are no longer the large traditional circle plates, rather small plastic rectangular trays with matching plastic teacups. There is a boba tea bar on one side of the restaurant which is also new. All these changes modernized the restaurant and make it feel brighter, bigger, cleaner and more open. The food was good but because the presentation of it, it seemed like smaller portions (even if the old oval ceramic plates held the same amount of food). The squared plates gave it a cleaner look, but made the portions appear smaller. The Garlic with pea sprouts were very salty and the orange beef was very sweet. My kids kept referring to the orange beef as the one with strawberry jam! Everything else was quite tasty. In particular, the salt and pepper chicken, Walnut Shrimp, Beef Cantonese Pan Fried Noodles and Thai Style Pork were our favorites. The salt and pepper chicken was perfect straight out of the fryer. Hot, crunchy and flavorful. Even after the dish has been devoured, I always like scooping up the minced hot peppers left on the plate and eating it over rice. The Cantonese Pan Fried noodles are best eaten right away when the noodles are crunchy. It is still enjoyable after the mixed in meat and veggies soften it with the sauce, but the texture of the pan fried noodles gives it the extra distinctive quality. The Thai style Pork has the Sichuan peppercorns that make your tongue tingle and then numb. However, oddly enough, the spice level was just right and I really enjoyed the unique flavor. The service was good. The staff were friendly and attentive and brought out the food relatively fast. We had family from out of town dining with us and they asked to add this into our "rotation" when they come back into town again! read more

This restaurant just open not long ago. The place seems big but the table can't fit more than 6 people. The chair is kind a small to sit for big people. The foods was ok. I ordered takeout from NEW Tasty Cuisine Chinese Restaurant - 国潮粵菜城, and everything was excellent! The egg drop soup and wonton soup were hot and flavorful, the chicken chow fun noodles were fresh and tasty, and the Mongolian beef was tender and delicious. I love their new and upgraded look, as well as their new takeout bag--it really adds a nice touch. Definitely my new go-to spot for Chinese takeout! read more

Change in ownership shows marked differences in their food (presentation and quality). The sauce in their Sweet and Sour Chicken is thick like molasses; sweeter than most in the industry; and only contains 1 piece each of pineapple, tomato and bell pepper (large order), but taste was good. The sauce for the Sesame Chicken is also thick with two broccoli florets in a large order. They seem to use dark chicken for their breaded chicken dishes. Rice servings are slim (they do not pack the white rice container and there was notable space in the container when we opened it). The Boba drinks are good. Their food presentation is wonderful for take out and dine-in orders. Placing an order is simple when you use the app suggested on their website. After three orders since their reopening, they are consistently underwhelming. Still, an okay go to when your normal spot is closed on Sunday. read more

Obviously new owners. Very different vibe, very different recipes for some of the same menu. Not an improvement, but not terrible either. Very overpriced, service was slow despite having a robot, (wasn't as cool as it sounds). We were asked if we wanted hot tea or water, we asked if it were possible to get both. We got both but only one teacup per person. So we had to alternate. The plate they expected us to eat from was a tiny appetizer plate that matched the teacup. The food all came at once, the soup and the entrees were served together. It took about 20 minutes to place an order and another 15 to get the food, so it was slow. Restaurant was 1/4th full, so it was not super busy. The food was about $3 too expensive for entrees, $2 too expensive for soup and appetizers. The classics from the old restaurant were on the menu but they didn't taste as good. It was fine, just expensive. The decor was much brighter but also looked cheap. Touristy, with English definitions of Chinese characters describing cooking methods and with city names. Not bad but I won't be rushing back. read more
