This place was absolutely incredible! First time here and definitely not the last. They offer a parking lot within the business strip to park. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the Hongas Portabella street taco, Camarones street taco, and Carne asada street taco. I requested all three be on a flour tortilla instead of corn. These were amazing! My favorites were the Hongas Portabella and Camarones. The flavors were so good and everything was fresh! The service was also great. After shopping at Costco, we were looking for a place to eat dinner, so we went to Los Chapos Tacos. When we walked in, we saw people enjoying tacos. The place was nicely decorated. You can order right at the restaurant, or you can use the kiosk, which was great because we didn't have to wait in line. After going through the menu, we ordered Tacos De Birria, Taco Gobernador, Chips and Salsa and Burrito De Polo. We took our seats after ordering. We got our chips and salsa first. We started with chips and salsa, and they were a good start to dinner both tasted good For the other food items we had to wait for 15-20 minutes before we got our dinner order. The Birria tacos were delicious! We all really enjoyed them. The burrito was also good, and it had a great amount of food, enough for one person. The Taco Gobernador with Shrimp was also delicious, and the tacos at the restaurant were great for dinner. We all loved our dinner at Los Chapos Tacos. There was a bit of a wait, maybe 20-25 minutes, but the food was great. read more

Picked up two Carna Asada tacos and Mexican corn for my wife. I got a full order of Chicken nachos. The nachos were very good. Lots of guacamole, pico and cheese. My wife loved the tacos and corn. The price is very reasonable which is rare for the restaurants around us. We have other sit down Mexican restaurants we like but for picking up a good meal at a reasonable price, Los Chapos is a good choice! read more

Was super happy to find out this place opened up nearby me after trying the location in Ybor. Not sure if it was exactly the same tasting as I ordered something different, but what I got was still great. My bf and I ordered the queso, and a carne asada burrito. The queso unfortunately was very bland. Their chips are not my fave... I like thinner tortilla chips though. I also wished they provided a good salsa while dining in. The carne asada burrito was delicious. I loved the tortilla they used and how they grilled it. I do wish there was an option of beans to choose from. Loved their side salsas! Finally Los Chapos Tacos is close to the outlet mall. Been meaning to try them out. Stopped by for Agua frescas. I had samples of many of them - horchata, passion fruit, pineapple, & mango. My fave was the passion fruit and pineapple so I asked for half and half. They were very nice and welcoming. It's also decorated very nicely. I'll be back in the future for food. For now, the passion fruit /pineapple Agua frescas was perfect for a hot sunny summer day! read more

Nicely renovated space not far from their food truck on US41. The $16 quesobirria tacos w/consome are the bomb, if you're looking for a beefy, cheesey, fried meal, however at that price, id appreciate a small side of guac, or pico, or something else green and fresh, to round out the presentation, and meal. read more

We finally got a chance to try them and it was Good . The staff were very friendly and helpful with going over the menu. We had the trio dip with chips and we really enjoyed all 3 dips which was a white queso, salsa and guacamole. My hubby had the chicken burrito and he enjoyed it he said it had good flavor . I had the ACHIOTE fried chicken tacos and they were delicious and very filling . Everything we had was very good we definitely will be back to try some other items on the menu . Visited Los Chapos in Lutz on Saturday 11/8 after a recommendation from a friend. I ordered a Michelada, which is a standard offering on their menu, but apparently that was a mistake. No one knew how to make one and told us the recipe was written in Spanish. It took more than 10 minutes to make the drink, which didn't taste good, likely because it wasn't made correctly. I had the fried chicken tacos... they were okay. My boyfriend enjoyed his burrito. However, not knowing how to make something on the menu when that's your JOB? That's unacceptable, imo. If the drink worked out, I *might* have given them a second shot to redeem food, but they've lost a customer here. read more

Soo taco shops are popping up everywhere around here, then going under. Case in point, Fuzzys. I went to Los Chapos expecting to be unimpressed. Personally, I love Tijuana Flats and especially their prices. Im here to tell you, Los Chapos is the real deal! I had a chicharrones, a pastor, and a chicken tinga. All were delicious, however the chicharrones was outstanding. I also had chips and guacamole, which was very good. Chips are corn, no added ingredients, very natural taste and served hot from the frier. Guac was good. Next time, which will be soon, I will get 3 chicharrones tacos and a pacifico. This food tastes very authentic mexican, delicious! The servers were very polite and the place was very clean. I joined their points club. Watch out Tijuana! You got some competition now! read more

Had a great experience here. Friendly staff, very clean restaurant, good sized menu, not too big a menu. The queso, guacamole, and chips were delicious. Salsa pretty spicy and I didn't love it. I got the street tacos with steak, cilantro, and onions, they were delicious! My husband got the barilla tacos and thought they were good but not great. Will definitely be going here again!!! The burritos were surprisingly good. For the price we paid, there should have been a small side of salsa with the burritos and chips. A salsa bar would be a great addition. My carnitas burrito was very good and hubby's shrimp burrito was flavorful. We would return. I have included pictures of the burritos and the receipt. I order three tacos, pastor, chicken tinga, & carnitas, the tortillas were cold so they started to brake. All three meat had good flavor but as soon as you take the first bite the rest of the taco falls a part. This review is from someone who grew up eating street tacos and have tried tacos in other places in the area in this are the least recommended, but I figured I should try them in order to compare, El chapo tacos and Fuzzies are not recommended for those who want to try true street tacos or just Mexican style tacos. read more

The food was good the service was trash. We got our food waiting for our drinks we ordered. I had to get up find the girl tell her what was ordered and then waited another 20 minutes for her to bring them over. The ambiance is so cute though and I loved the way everything was put together. We have been to all of the locations and the food truck and I always tell it how it is and they fall short in the Wesley chapel store by far. The food just does not taste the same as the others.
