Fresh, fresh, fresh. Chips and salsa with the Mango Salsa. A ridiculous, gigantic bag of freshly made chips. Salsa was chunky, sweet, salty, good mango flavor. The Carnitas Platter was some of the best, moist and tasty pork that I've come across at a Mexican restaurant in the Pinellas County area. The pinto beans were great on this platter. Not over sauced at all, but had that great bean taste. The Chilango Burrito was huge, juicy and amazing. Good quantity of moist and tender steak. Excellent! Washed down with a couple of Modelo Especials and life was good on Anna Maria Island. Good "value for dollar spent" in this unexpected strip mall Mexican restaurant. It must be consistently good because the place was very busy on this Saturday afternoon. The ambience was very good with a nice mix of Mexican music playing overhead. A beautiful large mural added incredible character to the place. The server and cook were very attentive and made a couple of appearances at our table to see how things were going.

Amazing Mexican food! This is a small shop in a strip mall with plenty of outdoor seating. The burritos are HUGE and enough for two meals. The shrimp taco was delicious and just the right amount for a small appetite. The staff were very friendly and quick to bring the food despite how busy they were.

Food: Surf and Turf Burrito, In-house made chips, both delicious. Service: Given menus, drinks, and chips within minutes. Served food in less than 5 more minutes. Cordially checked on after food arrived; friendly. Ambiance: Quiet, low meringue playing in background-perfect for a convo. Open door/comfortable breeze. Craving casual Mexican? This is the place. Cheers

We sat inside and got the taquitos, birria tacos, el pastor quesadillas, side rice, and frozen mango margaritas. Everything tasted amazing. Definitely a great authentic Mexican place to come to. Staff were also very friendly - Would definitely come again!

Los Chiludos Mexican restaurant is within walking distance from our beach rental here on Anna Maria Island. Being adventurous we tried each or their specialty burritos. I think we were all genuinely impressed with how well each one was prepared! Each one was crafted with a unique flavor profile that just worked. I highly recommend this place and we have already been back to pick up their $3 bag of chips to go! Soo good!

We had lunch here this afternoon. My husband rated it a 3 and I'm closer to a 3.5. Since it's the best Mexican we've eaten in the area, I bumped it up. It's an upper-scale order at the counter type of place and everyone was really friendly. We started with frozen lime margaritas and they were good. Our favorite thing by far was the cheese dip. It was delicious! My husband and I shared one of the specials, which was a birria chimichanga. It was good, especially with a little cheese dip on top. We also had steak tacos. We enjoyed them and thought the steak was seasoned well and enjoyed the salsa verde.

Carnitas platter. Also came with corn tortillas.

Found this little jewel by way of Google reviews and it didn't disappoint. The food was amazing! I had the carnitas platter and the plate is very deceiving. There is a ton of food on the plate and I wound up taking a doggy bag home, I never do that. Service was spot on. The server and manager checked on us periodically and were very engaging. The interior is small but they make up for it in service. Definitely going back on our next road trip.

I like it. It's like a Baja Texmex and their tacos are good. I like going for lunch and the guac is always fresh.

The baked beans may honestly be the best I've ever had--big chunks of bacon and all sorts of goodness packed into them. Seriously, don't overlook the beans! The grouper bites are a must-order--crispy, fresh and delicious. The mahi tacos were equally impressive, with fresh fish, great flavor and generous portions. Great seafood, cold drinks, beautiful waterfront setting and the kind of place you could hang out at all afternoon. One piece of advice: there's only one men's room and one women's room, so maybe don't drink too much. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to.

We had the choice of sitting outside, inside or at the bar! It was quite busy when we arrived so it was a little bit of a wait to get served. However, Our server was very sweet and attentive towards our party. Gave us some great recommendations. We started off with clam chowder, gumbo, and ceviche and it came out pretty quickly. Everything was made in house and absolutely delicious! The gumbo was my favorite. After the appetizers came through we ordered our main dishes and got fried shrimp, and fish tacos! It took some time for it to come out but once it did it was super exciting to get it. Everything was delicious, and for the shrimp you had a choice of small and large. I ordered small while my boyfriend ordered a large. We had tons and tons of food and it was so so good! We finished off with some delicious key lime pie and it was well worth the waiter bringing it out to us! My favorite definitely was the key lime pie and finishing up with that as well!

Upon walking in we needed to use the restroom the girl at the front said they don't have public restroom and there not serving any food just drinks meanwhile they close at 3 and we arrived at 2:15. She told us to use the restroom at the Walgreens next door before leaving to do so we told barista we would be right back in ENGLISH! We don't speak a foreign language! We came back 10 minutes later and she locked the doors and switched the "open" sign to "close" closing 40 minutes early! It gave us a bad vibe and felt extremely rude especially because it was one of spots we wanted to try in the area. I believe this spot is also fairly new in my opinion this is not a good reflection or representation of new business! Terrible (see pictures of hours of operation on door, along with advertising sandwiches and pastries on menu which they didn't have). Also please see owners response below. Going back and forth on yelp proves true unprofessionalism and the apology was not sincere at all, before stepping out to use the restroom that could of been stated that the establishment was about to close local or not TERRIBLE!
