Ordered a plate of pupusas de queso and it came with a side of chips, salsa, and a spicy shredded salad. The pupusas were served fresh and tore apart in satisfying pieces, the cheesiness is pleasant and overall filling. The chips and salsa were nice to have on the side and the salad was good to have some greens to balance the diet. I also picked up some cookies by the front counter and they had a nice buttery flavor to them, very simple but delightful desserts after the meal. Location is difficult to access by driving as there are very limited parking spots. It may be wise to order ahead and have a friend wait in the car by the side in a space to pick up. Otherwise, it's in a high traffic area so walking to this place is convenient. The staff are friendly, fast paced, and very kind. It seems most people opt for take-out but there seems to be plenty of dining space inside for anyone choosing to dine in.

Pupusas: chicharrón, revueltas, frijol y queso

Absolutely Delicious! I haven't had good pupusas in a WHILE. My kids and I loved them. My kids weren't a big fan of the tamales, a bit dry. Not a fan of the price but everything is expensive these days . They do a deal of 10 pupusas for 28$ + tax. I just moved into town and glad to have stumbled into this little place.

My Mother was visiting from Delaware and she told me she missed eating Salvadoran Ian food. During our tour of the old neighborhood we found this place and it had been here for decades so we came in. Glad we did! Our greeter Angela was the best host. We both ordered bean and cheese and just Cheese Pupusa's , a plate of Chicharrones and Yucca and we were set. We both were pleased with the food and my mom was happy. Back in the 1980's I lived around the block from here. We will be back.

Pupusa, platano, and fried pork. And, excuse me, I don't speak spanish =)

Food was way overpriced and lacks taste. I would recommend trying other Salvadoran restaurants instead. Not worth the time or money.

I get pupusas here all the time, and they're delicious. They're really generous with the salad and sauce

The price isn't worth the experience.. But the pupusas are good, I'd shop there again just order to go.

Juan was awesome -- very informative, even shared a little history of Pupusa's :) Nonetheless, the service was great but the food ** chefs kiss ** was phenomenal! We got 6 pupusa's -- 2 Bean & Cheese, 1 Pork & Cheese, 1 Al Pastor & Cheese, 1 Garlic & Cheese and 1 Asada & Cheese -- the garlic & cheese was our favorite, but all of them were phenomenal! Thank you, Juan, for the experience! I will be back!

We came a couple of months ago and had their loaded yucca fries with carne asada as well as some pupusas. The meat on our fries felt really low quality-- the best way I could describe it was it tasting like frozen hamburger meat-- and gave us indigestion for the rest of the night, which was really disappointing to experience. Today we unfortunately experienced some really rude service. My bf ordered a plain water and we were given a fresco ensalada (no big deal, he likes it) We don't eat pork and ordered fried yucca on its own, just yucca frita. We were given a plate of yucca con chicharron :( I told the service we just ordered yucca frita and we were told that we did not specify that for her. I explained that we don't eat pork so we sent it back and were met with a displeasing look. I said we didn't want to yucca anymore since we had a lot of food already and she said "the kitchen already made it." So I said it was fine but just the yucca this time and she came back with the same exact plate just without the chicharron-- no visible plate change. Needless to say for the price, decline in food quality, and rude service, it's not worth coming back. At least not for a while.

We…read moreusually make the drive to North Hollywood, but decided to give this place a try--and it definitely did not disappoint! We started with the ensalada, which was refreshing and had just the right amount of sweetness. For pupusas, we ordered the revueltas, loroco con queso, and frijol con queso. We tried both corn and rice dough, and honestly, both were delicious. My personal favorite was the frijol con queso with the rice dough- so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The yuca frita was exactly how it should be: crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The chicharrón was cooked perfectly as well, and the homemade green salsa that the sweet lady helping us made was the perfect addition. She was so kind, welcoming, and always had a friendly smile, which made the experience even better. Another thing that really stood out was how clean the restaurant is. It's spacious, with plenty of seating whether you're coming with a large group, your family, or just stopping by for a meal on your own. We absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back. Next time we're bringing my Salvadoran in-laws- I have a feeling this place will get their authenticity approval too! Spanish!

So many five star reviews, I'm here to add another!…read more Ordered online, picked up for lunch, what a treat! I got 3 pupusas revueltas to go. Service was quick, there is a big dining room with plenty of seating in case you want to dine in, looked very clean. Massive pupusas with a lot of filling, not one of those restaurants that give you nothing but masa, these pupusas were legit. They come with Curtido and the usual salsa roja. So much flavor packed into these things, these are some of the best pupusas I've ever had, good size and they do not cheap us out on filling. Definitely try em if you're in the area! Parking on the street, or in the back very limited in the alley.
