You know the food was yummy when you forgot to take pictures. Everything I had was delicious - beef, chicken, beans, bean & cheese pupusas and they are were delicious. Good size and filled with a notable about of stuffing. The bean pupusa was my favorite, which is a lot from a carnivore like me. The inside was clean and tidy. Tables were all cleaned immediately after parties would leave. And the staff was friendly, helpful and ensured I got the order I wanted

Several times of coming here. Place is always clean and service is always friendly and fast. Pricing is great and food is without doubt delicious! If you're looking for authentic Salvadorian food, try this place out! Will be back soon for my pupusa and horchata cravings.

run, don't walk... or skip if you want... totally up to you. This is a hidden gem. Locally owned and operated, super nice but no one I encountered spoke English. So put your high school Spanish classes to the test here. We had pupusas and empanas of various fillings. But rather than waste time on this review, I'll just strongly suggest my favorite items. Food 5++ Get the Bean, Cheese and Pork Pupusas. We ate these next to the carne asada and chicharrones with cheese.... Dude. So much more flavor in their beans . Speaking of beans, get their plantain empanadas stuffed with beans. It has an aromatic fresh cinnamon flavor with a little bit of sugar on top. So. Freaking. Good. Service 4.5 They forgot some things but it could have been a language barrier Ambiance 3 15 years ago it was fun to have people sign your wall. Now it's filled with IG and TikTok promotions. Ew.

    Great food

The food is Authentic SalvadorIan and the service was great. Place is clean For sure coming back

    Hello do you offer catering?

They do, inquire at the desk

    Are pupusas always available?

Yes, pupusas always available. But they've lost the flavor (not as good) and the service really sucks. If you order to go, make sure you get everything you order.

My boyfriend is Salvadoran, so we're always on the hunt for great pupusas and yuca frita. We…read moreusually make the drive to North Hollywood, but decided to give this place a try--and it definitely did not disappoint! We started with the ensalada, which was refreshing and had just the right amount of sweetness. For pupusas, we ordered the revueltas, loroco con queso, and frijol con queso. We tried both corn and rice dough, and honestly, both were delicious. My personal favorite was the frijol con queso with the rice dough- so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The yuca frita was exactly how it should be: crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The chicharrón was cooked perfectly as well, and the homemade green salsa that the sweet lady helping us made was the perfect addition. She was so kind, welcoming, and always had a friendly smile, which made the experience even better. Another thing that really stood out was how clean the restaurant is. It's spacious, with plenty of seating whether you're coming with a large group, your family, or just stopping by for a meal on your own. We absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back. Next time we're bringing my Salvadoran in-laws- I have a feeling this place will get their authenticity approval too! Spanish!

Service was quick, there is a big dining room with plenty of seating in case you want to dine in, looked very clean. Massive pupusas with a lot of filling, not one of those restaurants that give you nothing but masa, these pupusas were legit. They come with Curtido and the usual salsa roja. So much flavor packed into these things, these are some of the best pupusas I've ever had, good size and they do not cheap us out on filling. Definitely try em if you're in the area! Parking on the street, or in the back very limited in the alley.

So underrated! Delicious Salvadorean and Mexican food!!…read more They first served chips with salsa, which was good and not too spicy. Later they also brought big fluffy tortillas, which I believe are the Salvadorean style tortillas. They are super soft, so fresh and fluffy. Pupusas They were huge!!! So flavorful and tasty. I tried the revueltas (cheese, fried pork, and beans) and the queso con jalapeno (cheese with jalapeno). Everything just melted in my mouth. I didn't expect the jalapeno one to have so much flavor too. The pupusas are my favorites out of everything I tried. Beef taco I tried this à la carte with the crunchy taco shell and shredded beef. There is a lot of filling (lettuce, tomato, and cheese) and the beef is tender. Not too greasy, not too dry. Love the crunchiness of the taco shell. The tacos are usually sold in twos with rice and beans. Carne Asada Plate The carne asada was very tender. Also comes with beans, simple salad, rice, and lemon wedge. There was no wait to get seated. Lots of seats and tables. They also have a TV with a movie playing. Service was good! Glad the server also has a sense of humor haha. The food took 15-20 minutes, which isn't too bad. The interior has a traditional Mexican aesthetic. Feels homey. The parking lot is not super big, but I had no problems parking on a Sunday. I would come back and recommend!

I wasn't able to find any reviews on their ceviche. I should've gone with their pupusas. I hate to say it, but it was the worst ceviche I've ever had. The fish was cut into about 5 big chunks. It had cucumber, onion, avocado, and a few tiny pieces of tomato. Like 3. Very disappointed. Stick to the Tierra. No Mar. We like the pupusas from there. And the restaurant is cute and generally has good service. Might check it out again if I want pupusas, but won't be getting seafood from here. Do I recommend this spot for pupusas? Sure! I also added a note if I can have extra curtido (goes fast in our family) and they did with no extra charge appreciate that a lot. The platanos were really good not greasy beans were a bit salty but together with the platano and crema perfect. Daughter said their bean pupusa was lacking cheese.
