Salvadorean breakfast and half a pupusa from another plate!
    Muy S.

The food is still great, and they have coffee now yay! The service was very good, they came multiple times to check if we needed anything and pour more coffee. The Salvadoran breakfast never fails. Large variety of pupusas. Small cozy restaurant. There's a small parking lot and street parking.

Came on a Monday right before lunch peak hours but also on 1/2 which was an observed holiday and we lucked out and got the last seats. Service was great. Everyone was very kind and fast but also felt at times it was hard to grab their attention. Food was delicious. Their hand made thick corn tortillas is a must try. Note, it's an extra $0.50 cents for four but it's worth it. 5/5 Caldo de Gallina (soup of chicken/hen) This dish was so so good I literally drank the entire soup and forgot about the rice and chicken because I wanted to finish the soup before it got too cold. Also, this dish is huge they brought out a big plate of chicken and rice and salad with tortilla and had to go back and grab a big bowl of soup. I substituted white rice with Mexican rice. 5/5 Camaron Ojo (garlic shrimp) My mom says she only comes here for this dish. Being pescatarian, she's very picky and claims that this is the best place to get shrimp in town. 4/5 Fajita Mixta (Mixed Fajita plate) My bf loves fajitas so this is usually his go to and was impressed with how much food they provide. He just wishes it was served in a sizzling plate like most other places so that it's still warm I'd definitely come back here again!

A close friend and I have been hunting to purchase a home for her. And this border of Eaglerock: A perfect melange of urban and rustic. Without the fire insurance debacle. Then our stomachs started growling and the nearest and dearest spot we came across whilst driving thru a mini canyon was the Eaglerock location. We are both vegetarians so it was a fun adventure. We were seated comfortably, after easily parking on the side of this restaurant location. The service was friendly, atmosphere friendly and working class. I like the vibe, not familiar and nice to get out of yr bubble of the world and explore. The food was simple and good and huge portions. I've eaten it for two meals, since I took half of my burrito to go!

I brought my father in for breakfast they take our order n in comes a family right after us. They ordered 5 minutes after got their drinks n food before us. The service lady was more interested in attending to her regulars first until she seen my face with anger n disappointment the pupusas were burnt n the service n attitude sucked bad never again I don't recommend this to anyone. Better off going To Las Cazuelas in Highland Park

I love living in a neighborhood where I can sit down and have pupusas for breakfast. They have great breakfast deals whether you want a Salvi breakfast for classic American. They also have the most delicious fresh squeezed OJ I've had in LA, period.

I've been ordering from here for several years now, and we are always very pleased. I typically always call in and place my order, it's usually ready within 20 mins. Their pupusas would be among one of the best. I typically get their revueltas, and chicken with cheese. Their sauce and cabbage are tasty as well. Definitely a must try if you're in the area.

Food was great, I always order from here for lunch. The waiting is about 15-20min I recommend the Plántanos Fritos!!! Best I've had in LA

I've been coming here for a few years now for their pupusas, they are delicious. If you come Sunday's at noon it is really busy and you have to wait for a table but after like 1:30 there's no waiting for tables. Since they make their pupusas right when you order them, you have to wait about 15 min for them to be ready but they are with the wait. I prefer to eat at the restaurant rather than taking it to go because they give you unlimited curtido for your pupusas. The owner of the restaurant is really nice and he makes conversation with his guests. The other employees are also very nice and attentive. They parking lot is shared with the other businesses in the plaza so some times finding parking is hard specially cuz their spaces are compact. If the parking lot is full you can try finding parking in the street.

I have been coming to this restaurant for about 5 years now. I love their pupusas. The owner is really friendly and so is the staff. I always feel so welcomed when I go and they always make conversation and make an effort to know their regular customers. They provide excellent customer service. I've dinned in and gotten take out and no matter which way I order the pupusas always taste delicious. I call ahead of time before arriving and place my order and once I get there my order is already ready and waiting for me. I've been to other pupusa places and they don't taste as tasty and authentic as the ones here. I would definitely say the pupusas are their specialty. I know that the pupusas and the customer service are what have kept me coming back.

    Nasty place

Aveli and Tita the cashier Won't make a simple burrito with half chicken and half asada very rude staff don't speak English and not willing to work with the customer

Juan was awesome -- very informative, even shared a little history of Pupusa's :) Nonetheless, the service was great but the food ** chefs kiss ** was phenomenal! We got 6 pupusa's -- 2 Bean & Cheese, 1 Pork & Cheese, 1 Al Pastor & Cheese, 1 Garlic & Cheese and 1 Asada & Cheese -- the garlic & cheese was our favorite, but all of them were phenomenal! Thank you, Juan, for the experience! I will be back!

We came a couple of months ago and had their loaded yucca fries with carne asada as well as some pupusas. The meat on our fries felt really low quality-- the best way I could describe it was it tasting like frozen hamburger meat-- and gave us indigestion for the rest of the night, which was really disappointing to experience. Today we unfortunately experienced some really rude service. My bf ordered a plain water and we were given a fresco ensalada (no big deal, he likes it) We don't eat pork and ordered fried yucca on its own, just yucca frita. We were given a plate of yucca con chicharron :( I told the service we just ordered yucca frita and we were told that we did not specify that for her. I explained that we don't eat pork so we sent it back and were met with a displeasing look. I said we didn't want to yucca anymore since we had a lot of food already and she said "the kitchen already made it." So I said it was fine but just the yucca this time and she came back with the same exact plate just without the chicharron-- no visible plate change. Needless to say for the price, decline in food quality, and rude service, it's not worth coming back. At least not for a while.

We started with the ensalada, which was refreshing and had just the right amount of sweetness. For pupusas, we ordered the revueltas, loroco con queso, and frijol con queso. We tried both corn and rice dough, and honestly, both were delicious. My personal favorite was the frijol con queso with the rice dough- so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The yuca frita was exactly how it should be: crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The chicharrón was cooked perfectly as well, and the homemade green salsa that the sweet lady helping us made was the perfect addition. She was so kind, welcoming, and always had a friendly smile, which made the experience even better. Another thing that really stood out was how clean the restaurant is. It's spacious, with plenty of seating whether you're coming with a large group, your family, or just stopping by for a meal on your own. We absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back. Next time we're bringing my Salvadoran in-laws- I have a feeling this place will get their authenticity approval too! Spanish!

Service was quick, there is a big dining room with plenty of seating in case you want to dine in, looked very clean. Massive pupusas with a lot of filling, not one of those restaurants that give you nothing but masa, these pupusas were legit. They come with Curtido and the usual salsa roja. So much flavor packed into these things, these are some of the best pupusas I've ever had, good size and they do not cheap us out on filling. Definitely try em if you're in the area! Parking on the street, or in the back very limited in the alley.
