Great family owned Salvadoran restaurant. The dining area is a sort of covered area that is mostly enclosed but still somewhat open to the elements in terms of wind and temperature. There are parking spots to either sides of the restaurant. Had dinner here with colleagues. We tried a lot of their dishes and took back leftovers - mojarra, pupusas, mariscada, yuca fritada, etc. Everything was super good. We were helped mainly by a sweet, older woman who was helpful and patient. Definitely recommend.

Carne asada combo was soooo good and filling. Carne asada + salad + rice + beans + two handmade tortillas. Me encanto! Todo estuvo delicioso. Gracias

this place was vibrant and satisfying, the portions were big for the price. the flavors were overall good, although maybe not the most flavor-packed thing i have had. the chicken in cream was amazing as were the yucca. pork was okay. they walk around handing out free plain pupusas that were warm and so good.

I drove all the way from the San Fernando valley. Is not that far away. I found this place on my timeline feed on social media. So I decided to come check this place out in person. I definitely recommend this place. The staff were amazing. Excellent customer service

Freshly prepared, cheese oozing out over the light crust. Very nice masa & bomb revuelta flavor. Maybe my best pupusa experience ever.

First and foremost the food was amazing. This was my first time having Salvadorian food and I was lucky to have the best of the best. The Platabos were sooo yummy, the yucca were amazing, papusas (chorizo and chicharonne), the shrimp, carne, tortillas, all of it was just so amazing. Lastly I had a 1/4 quesadilla for dessert and, I was very confused as to why a quesadilla would be dessert but I learned exactly what it was and boy was it delicious. I cannot wait to come back here.

Service was amazing. The lady was very sweet and she was the only one trying to serve 4 to 5 tables at a time, and she always had a smile. The Pupusas were deliciously However, the breakfast, the rice and beans was stale hard, and it wasn't fresh. The eggs were a lot of things going on. It did not look appetizing, and everything else was good. I will definitely return just for the Pupusas

UNREAL pupusas. You think you've had a good pupusas before? I'm sure you haven't until you've gone to Cojutepeque. I could eat the bean and cheese pupusa every day for the rest of my life. This place has a cozy, neighbor feel, and the food is simply unbeatable.

We came a couple of months ago and had their loaded yucca fries with carne asada as well as some pupusas. The meat on our fries felt really low quality-- the best way I could describe it was it tasting like frozen hamburger meat-- and gave us indigestion for the rest of the night, which was really disappointing to experience. Today we unfortunately experienced some really rude service. My bf ordered a plain water and we were given a fresco ensalada (no big deal, he likes it) We don't eat pork and ordered fried yucca on its own, just yucca frita. We were given a plate of yucca con chicharron :( I told the service we just ordered yucca frita and we were told that we did not specify that for her. I explained that we don't eat pork so we sent it back and were met with a displeasing look. I said we didn't want to yucca anymore since we had a lot of food already and she said "the kitchen already made it." So I said it was fine but just the yucca this time and she came back with the same exact plate just without the chicharron-- no visible plate change. Needless to say for the price, decline in food quality, and rude service, it's not worth coming back. At least not for a while.

We started with the ensalada, which was refreshing and had just the right amount of sweetness. For pupusas, we ordered the revueltas, loroco con queso, and frijol con queso. We tried both corn and rice dough, and honestly, both were delicious. My personal favorite was the frijol con queso with the rice dough- so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The yuca frita was exactly how it should be: crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The chicharrón was cooked perfectly as well, and the homemade green salsa that the sweet lady helping us made was the perfect addition. She was so kind, welcoming, and always had a friendly smile, which made the experience even better. Another thing that really stood out was how clean the restaurant is. It's spacious, with plenty of seating whether you're coming with a large group, your family, or just stopping by for a meal on your own. We absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back. Next time we're bringing my Salvadoran in-laws- I have a feeling this place will get their authenticity approval too! Spanish!

So much flavor packed into these things, these are some of the best pupusas I've ever had, good size and they do not cheap us out on filling. Definitely try em if you're in the area! I've actually traveled to El Salvador before, so I've had the opportunity to experience the food there firsthand. Since coming back, I really haven't found many places that gave me that same authentic taste and feeling--until coming here. Everything we tried was amazing. The pupusas, beans, plantains, meats, and all the traditional flavors were on point. You can tell the food is prepared with that real homemade Salvadorian style. If you've been to El Salvador and know what authentic Salvadorian food is supposed to taste like, this place will bring back some memories.
