He told us about the live music and band playing that night so we decided to come back here after dinner. It was a full house with the live band. My husband and I love small local bars like this. My husband and I own and run our own small business...so it's so refreshing to see another local establishment ran by a husband and wife team. This is definitely a great bar to visit! They also have a small food selection and boy their chili really hit the spot. We look forward to coming back again the next time we visit Ojai.

After the fact, we found a review mentioning that the restaurant changed ownership in November 2025, which explains the drastic shift in quality and menu.
