Swoooooooooon. Love staying at Ojai Rancho Inn and this little bar is a big reason why. I mean "little" quite literally--it's tiny in . Never fear though, as you are welcome to hang in their cool back area with a pool, fire pit, hammocks, basically all the vacation-y things. The bartenders are really laid back and friendly--props to the bartender who even went out of his way to make sure the campfire didn't go out as we were hanging out with our drinks. Chief's Peak has a fun list of beer, wine, and soju + shrub cocktails. Really enjoyed one of their funky rosés and a soju cocktail on my last visit. They don't really have food--I think some fancy chocolate bars and potato chips--but we brought some snacks from our room to eat by the fire and they didn't mind a bit. This place is open to for hotel guests as well as the public--we learned the ceramic cups on the wall belong to Ojai locals, which is rad! Aside from wine bars it seems like Ojai gets pretty sleepy at night, so definitely put this on your list for a night cap next time you're in town.

Hipster vibes all around. It's to be expected and what made me enjoy Chief's Peak even more. From the minimalist aesthetic on the bartenders to the random dog wandering around the bar, this was my favorite part about my Ojai day trip. Most of the drinks are Soju based and wasn't really wowed by any of the ones I tried. Still good nonetheless. Make sure you stop by if you're around the Ojai area and remember that they open at 4pm!

Great vibes and good beers. The best part of all, however, is the bartenders. Very friendly, warm, and welcoming.

Super dog friendly and they have a dog beds under the pool table. Our dog Goro was panting pretty hard and Jeremy offered us that we can try to wash him down in the sink which I was very touched as lot of places are not like this. When we walked in the live band was setting up to leave but very spacious place and they have a great selection of beers and wines. Jeremy said he makes beer and his wife makes wine there. He even had the TV set up for the World Cup game. We ended up sitting inside due to heat but outside was super cute spot to sit. They have firepits and plenty of seating areas. We tried Pixie and J.F.B. and opted in for the large beer. Definitely a pot that we will return if we ever go back to Ojai.

After having lunch at the Ojai Pizza Company earlier this year, something occurred to me as I sat…read morethere and looked around at all of the jerseys hanging on their walls. I saw some of the G.O.A.T's of the NBA, the NFL, the NHL, and the MLB which were all proudly on display. Hey, Maybe you've heard of 'em... Jordan, Jabbar, Montana, Gretzky, Gehrig Yeah, we all know these Greats and what their individual contributions were to their respective sport/league. Well, after eating the pizza and salad at O.P.C, I can truly say that these jerseys represented more than the players who wore them, but they had a direct correlation to the food that's served here. The overall Pizza is an unstoppable slam dunk just like Michael Jordan would do as he soared through the air with his tongue out. Yeah, The pizza we ordered had the perfect amount of sauce to cheese to toppings ratio and it was the "hook" that kept me wanting more, just like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's Skyhook move that was his secret weapon to scoring big. The secret weapon on our pizza.... The Pineapple!!! Now let's talk about the Greek Salad! Just like Joe Montana was put into the Hall of Fame, the Ojai Pizza Co.'s Greek Salad should be added to the list! Yeah, this Greek Salad was the 'Gretzky' of all Greek Salads. It too should have the same nickname... The Great One! (Because Damn was it a Great One!) Yes, every single bite which had the perfect combination of toppings, and a dressing that sealed the deal; this Greek Salad was the "Iron Horse" side dish that looked as good as Lou Gehrig did in those Yankee Pinstripes and it definitely was a hit out of the park home run that complimented our pie. Located right on Ojai Ave. in the center of town, this little pizza shop knows exactly what they are doing. They are shooting for that W that can win Championships all while securing a W both in our hearts and in our stomachs for all of the love that they are putting into their food. So if you find yourself visiting the quaint little town of Ojai and are in need of a quick, easy, and tasty meal, the Ojai Pizza Co. is definitely the G.O.A.T in the area when it comes to hand-tossed pizzas!

It's massively delicious. We also got a combo pizza which was tempting me with a slice after I finished my sandwich. I love their combo pizza. They load on the toppings. The only disappointment were the meatballs. I expected large meatballs like at other pizza joints but they were small little things, unfortunately. So far, the combo pizza is A+ and craveable to the point that I've had to go back multiple times and the club sandwich is great. Till next time... hope to find more good orders to add to the list.

Upon arrival, the staff seemed a bit frazzled. The menu changed a few times, which made things a little confusing, but the two women helping us were very kind and did their best, they just didn't seem fully prepared for a group our size. We kept our orders simple, and surprisingly, the food came out extremely fast... before the coffee even arrived. Overall though, the food was good. I had the avocado toast, which was really tasty, and everyone in the group seemed to enjoy what they ordered. The real standout here is the setting, the golf course and surrounding grounds are absolutely beautiful and make for a really nice atmosphere. Overall, a solid spot for smaller groups or a casual outing, but larger parties might be a bit of a challenge for them.
