I've gotten a burrito here twice in the last few months and the food her definitely hits the spot. Fresh tasting, and really big portion sizes, I came here hungry both times and each time I had to save half my burrito for later. Once you get towards that area on I-15 with the worlds largest thermometer right next to the 127 Hwy entrance you'll see this restaurant which kind of looks like a diner. So happy to have a restaurant that's not fast food on the way to Vegas in Baker population 600 (according to the city limit sign) we were greeted warmly by a young woman who was polite and friendly and helpful. Plenty of seating and only two people ahead of us to order at the counter at 9 a.m. Within 20! Minutes about 4 other parties showed up at the same time. Though they did not have my first choice of posole today, I thoroughly enjoyed the chorizo and eggs with beans and potatoes and corn tortillas. (4/5) My husband ordered the chilaquiles with scrambled eggs and red sauce. (3.5/5). They have a salsa bar with sliced limes and cut radishes/cucumbers for you to pick up as desired. Delicious! Everything tasted incredibly fresh, light and delish Our favorites were the birria and cabeza (beef cheek) since they were super tender and basically melted in our mouths. Free chips are a plus too. Came in for a breakfast burrito, and it was delish! Located in Baker, off the exit from the 15 fwy. Some parking spots outside the restaurant. Not too far from the Tesla charging station if you want to walk over. Clean interior and restrooms. Employees are friendly. I only had the breakfast burrito, as I was on my way back to LA early in the morning. The burrito was nicely filled and had great flavor. They have a salsa bar and I liked the green avocado sauce with it. Comes also with a few chips. They have most of the typical Mexican food items - tacos, burritos, etc. they also have a good selection of drinks. I'll definitely make this one of my stops to/from Vegas, and want to try their lunch items. I had no idea where we were going, but so many Yelp reviews can't be wrong, right? They were absolutely right- the food is fresh, delicious, and piled high! I got carne asada fries and lengua tacos with a large horchata and WOW. They were piled with meat, well cooked and flavorful, and hit the spot. The gentleman working the front was so helpful when I asked questions about what was good, what was on their menu, etc. and was very friendly! It's not a huge place, but there were a good amount of clean tables and booths, with a good amount of people eating there. The service was so friendly, and the food was so good, we even ordered in more burrito to have for when we got back home, and that definitely did not disappoint! Ps- they have a salsa bar and we loved trying them all. PPS- the large horchata is HUGE. This is your sign to eat here on your way to/from Vegas! This place is sooooo good. I had cheese enchiladas with both red and green sauce. Red sauce is good but, the star here is the green sauce. The red sauce is not spicy, the green sauce is the "spicy" one. If you grew up eating spice it's not really spicy but, it's full of flavor. Husband had a wet Cali burrito with green sauce. I have some dietary restrictions and Mexican usually works well for me. I found this place on Yelp and it was the #1 place in Baker. Well, it did not disappoint. I got a bowl with half chicken and half carnitas. I usually don't eat a lot of pork but the photos on Yelp looked so delicious I thought I'd try. REALLY REALLY GOOD. They easily and happily accommodated my dietary requirements. I can't have rice or dairy so I sometimes ask for extra vegetables if I have to take these out of a dish. The young woman at the counter automatically offered me additional beans or lettuce for the bowl, which was thoughtful. The bowl was delightful and the extras they offer at the salsa bar are on point. I got the cucumber and radishes, the spicy carrots and jalapenos and I tried all of the salsa which were DELISH. Can not recommend this place enough. The food is excellent, but the icing on the cake is that the young ladies that work there are very attentive, helpful and sweet. Wish I'd discovered this place decades ago, but better late than never. I will stop here EVERY time I drive to Vegas. read more

Oh is an excellent choice we routinely stop here when we are on road trips to Vegas and beyond. Today I switched it up and ordered a Carnitas torta instead of my usual street tacos. I was glad that I gave the torta a try it was delicious the bun was so fresh and toasted perfectly, the Carnitas were crispy and delicious as usual. I have to say this restaurant is really good. The food is all very delicious. Especially Menudo and churros. The only negative experience is that I found a piece of small plastic in the soup... it was really really delicious, but I was really disappointed about it... the waitress refunded my money and sent me a flan and the churro, which again, tasted so good tbh, because they(menudo and churro) both tasted so good, I will give the 5 star rate. The Fajita is just good, nothing so special. What I love about this place is the price! It's very reasonable! Cheap i should say. My asada quesadilla was only 10$, and for 3 bucks more, you get rice and beans. Awesome! My asada burrito was cheap also. I believe it was 12 or 14 bucks. I forget. It was huge though! They gave me a side of chips and guacamole. The guacamole dip was soooo good. The restaurant is nothing fancy, but it is clean and everyone was very polite. The food comes out quickly.
