Overpriced for the quality. Honestly, I only stopped here to grab some food so I could use the restroom. Unfortunately, the restroom was poorly maintained and didn't have any seat covers. The meat also had an unusual color and was overly salty. Considering the amount of business they're likely getting from the Tesla charging station outside, I think they could really invest in improving the overall appearance of the place and, more importantly, the quality of the food. Tacos are tasty and the Carne Asada fries are damn good. Gave a three star review because the owner or possibly the manager put a topping on my food when I specifically asked not too when ordered. When food arrived he tried to place blame on me denying making a mistake. He should've just owned up to his error. "LOSER!!" I stopped here to charge my car and decided to grab something to eat while I waited. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Not only are the prices extremely high for what they offer, but the service was terrible. The employee acted like he was doing customers a favor and was rude and unfriendly from the moment I ordered until I left. I wasn't the only unhappy customer. Several people after me were also disappointed because the food didn't match the pictures they advertise, which felt misleading. If I ever have to stop here again, I'll be getting my snacks from the gas station next door instead. 7/26/26 - Absolutely Revolting The second we walked through the door, we were hit with one of the most disgusting odors I've ever experienced in a restaurant. It smelled like raw sewage or someone had just had severe diarrhea, mixed with food cooking in the background. The combination was nauseating. The smell was so overpowering that I actually gagged and had to step outside because I felt like I was going to throw up. I've eaten at countless restaurants and have never experienced anything remotely this bad. The restroom is located right next to the dining area, and whatever ventilation system they have clearly isn't doing its job. No one should have to smell restroom odors while trying to eat. Cleanliness and sanitation are the bare minimum for any restaurant. read more

Do not eat here if you're charging your Tesla. The customer service was extremely disappointing. Before I could even use the restroom, I was told I had to purchase something first. It was frustrating because it should have been obvious that my entire family and I were there intending to eat. A little common sense and courtesy would have gone a long way. I appreciated the sign stating that restrooms are for customers only, especially since the Shell gas station across the street had public restrooms with a long line. However, the customer service was disappointing. While I was placing my order, the cashier stopped assisting me to help another customer with a receipt issue. I did not like this, as it was my turn and my order should have been completed first. He also began handing out other ready orders, which is understandable, but a simple "sorry, please wait" would have made a difference. There was also no greeting. I'm giving three stars mainly due to poor customer service. On a positive note, they did have utensils and a salsa bar, which was nice. We ordered a corn cup and a chicken taco. Great quality, great quantity, great value. This Mexican food spot is located just past Barstow on the 15 making it an awesome restaurant stop. Stopped here to just take a breather and stretch but my girlfriend and I ended up stopping inside the shop and bought a few tacos since we were going to use the restroom. Honestly I didn't expect much considering it's a shop located in the middle of "nowhere" with no competition around but I was massively surprised by how delicious the tacos were. The price was similar to what many of the taco stands in my area are charging and they offer a larger selection of meat with awesome amenities. The tripe here was other-worldly. They also had a birria taco which was also quite delicious. The staff there was primarily Spanish-speaking but was able to communicate with us with serviceable English so I didn't feel like any of my needs weren't met. Their restaurant is also extremely clean and they have a very clean restroom also. Super cute and cozy spot for a pit stop. You won't be disappointed by the food here. read more

This taco place is located at a Tesla super charger on I 15 near Barstow. Taco are so good 5/5!! We tried Al Pastor and carne asada. However they were out of a lot of things on the menu like birria tacos, corn and few other items. Fries were made fresh and were delicious. They have a small salsa bar with 3 types of salsa, my favorite was the habanero one. It was 110 degrees outside and their AC was not working. It was horrible to sit there and wait for food to be made and we could barely eat as it was so hot. They didn't even have a fan for backup. The owner didn't seem to care. This taco joint caught my eye with the sombrero & eye patch-wearing skeleton head signage. Every exterior window had mouth-watering pictures of tacos and burritos. It was over 100 degrees today. I decided to try this place as I was heading home from a trip driving south on the I 15. I made a pitstop to use the restroom and while I was there, I ordered one El Pastore taco and a small Horchata. The place was clean and so were the bathrooms so that was a plus. Whoever owns the lot is very smart as they have installed 20 Tesla chargers in the middle of nowhere... This place is located in Yermo. My taco was delicious. It it was on the smaller side like a street taco however, the meat was perfectly seasoned and grilled, and it had all the right toppings, such as cilantro, onion, and avocado salsa. The restaurant has a salsa bar and also offers additional condiments, such as lime, jalapeños, cucumber, and radishes, along side of three different types of salsa: green, tomatillo, salsa, habanero salsa, and a roasted tomatillo red chili salsa. My taco was perfect. It was hot and the tortillas were made from yellow corn and tasted homemade, but I don't think they were. The meat was tender and seasoned well and I used the roasted tomatillo red sauce and it was very delicious. It was spicy and had a kick but wasn't overpowering. The Horchata was delicious. I could definitely taste a good amount of vanilla in it. I will definitely stop in again. I hope next time they aren't out of Carne Asada or Tripa... Those were the two types of meats that I actually wanted to try. The service was good. The man who took my order was friendly and went out of his way to make sure my taco was wrapped in foil, so it would not get cold while I was taking care of my pitstop (lmao)!! Until next time... Little taco spot on the side of the road. Looks sus at first but boy does it hit the spot!! We always get the carne asada tacos. The more you get the better lol! Staff is friendly and place is relatively clean. Although the bathrooms aren't always well kept: seat covers, paper towels and minimal TP. This isn't entirely on them though because this is right next to a Tesla charging station which is why we even stopped there in the first place. People are always using their bathrooms and may not be eating. I do highly recommend them - the tacos are . They don't keep the salsa to go containers at the salsa counter which I don't blame them, people tend to hoard salsa lol...get the orange sauce super bomba!!! read more

We did a taco deal and for the amount of tacos and price it was very affordable, and they had a salsa bar where we got to try 4 different salsas, my favorite being the salsa Verde. You order at the counter and they call it out, it came up super quickly. The restaurant itself is a little run down but not too bad. The women's bathroom had 3 stalls and no toilet paper in any of them, also no toilet seat covers which could be used as a substitute in dire circumstances like this! I went back out to the counter and said there was no toilet paper in any of the stalls so he gave me one roll. Several women came in to use the restroom but no toilet paper so I handed them my roll from under the door of my stall. I then went out and asked for more rolls for the other stalls as there were quite a few ladies waiting to use the restroom with the one roll of toilet paper and he said no! He just didn't care. So tight with the tissue and expensive 2 little tiny tacos for $10, we definitely won't be back to this restaurant or charging station again. The trash was full to the max and overflowing. The condiment bar and the Agua Fresca looked like they were left out all day with no cooler or ice. The aguas frescas were also disappointing and definitely not worth the $9 price. They lacked flavor and didn't taste fresh.
