What makes the place memorable though is the hospitality. Joe was behind the counter when we arrived, greeting us like old friends, introducing us to a couple of regulars and his server, and inviting us to sit wherever we'd like. I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the menu, but it was a straightforward breakfast menu. We ordered an egg sandwich with sausage and a stack of pancakes with sausage. In my opinion, the portions were very generous, especially the size of the sausage and the pancakes (check out the picture). When Joe noticed I was slowing down toward the end of my meal, he actually started cheering me on to finish--and even gave me a hug afterwards when I just couldn't do it. My only critique was how salty the sausages were. Other than that, good food, good people, and good vibes.

Overall, the food and value were solid, but if you're trying to create a place where people come to watch big sporting events, this wasn't a great look. I wish there were a better spot to watch a game in Kingston.
