The place looks to have had a recent remodel as I don't remember it looking this way, any how the interior is very nice with a few nice murrows, we had to wait 15 min but expected that as it being Graduation night, we got seated and our waiter was very friendly and got our chips & salsa, we went ahead and ordered I had the beef taco with cheese enchilada & rice and beans, as a few of you may know I'm picky with my Spanish Rice, well, sorry to say the Spanish Rice was Awful, tasteless & Very Sticky, everything else was good, Jen had the Tostadas & beef taco plate and she was happy with her choice minus the Spanish Rice.

Gone are the pretty, pliable, same as grandma's fresh yummy smelling tortillas that the valley has enjoyed for two decades before things went downhill. Every visit I give them another chance. So what changed? Oh, new owners 5 years ago (maybe more). The same sad story, they change ingredients to save money and result is a disaster. Stores, restaurants and customers drop off. How do I know, the employees shared what's the real story. The 30 day "training" period was completed ignored by the new owners, who btw knew nothing about running a food production business. (It's not empanadas out of your mother-in-law's kitchen) Of course the owners won't admit they ruined a good thing. They don't even spend time there. No personal investment or interest to get it right. But public opinion prevails. My disappointment even goes to the tortilla chips. I've bought them for over 15 years. Used to be awesome. Now, just crap!! It's like gambling, will it be a good batch or stale, stuck together, clumpy salted bag (if salted at all though label says sea salt) of flavorless corn masa. Note to manager, tell employees to STIR the chips as the cook!!! (And start with a good corn tortilla) Last but not least the place got a facelift. New logo and paint job. Trying to be hip I guess but obviously not a trained designer. Who buys food from a grey/black building?? Appetizing, NOT! The logo could be a hair salon or wart ointment. Plain, unimaginative, clip art, nothing that says fresh tortilla factory. The place has all kinds of tortillas and food products. But that doesn't matter if you can't master a simple flour tortilla that was once an incredible product. Sadly all the hype comes from those that don't know the difference. Jen & I love our Mexican Food and this area has several restaurants to choose from, it's been several years since being to this one so being Jen's first trip here I thought we'd stop in, it was around 3:30 - 4:00pm a little early for dinner but had a game to go to, we were greeted by a fridenly staff member and seated promptly as the rush hasn't been in yet, Jen order the Pizza Taco ( different ) and I had the 3 street tacos, the tacos weren't bad but not the best meat was a bit dry and lacked flavor, refried beans were ok and the Spanish rice so so ok it lacked flavor and didn't seem that fresh, Jen's Pizza Taco looked amazing but not the best in taste, again lacked flavor. I don't think I'll be back in a while but hope the restaurant can make some changes to keep people coming through their doors for some good Mexican Food. It's more of a tomato with a very slight, and I do mean SLIGHT spice/seasoning. There was a seven-year-old little girl sitting on the table behind me and even she said it was not spicy.
