Five stars for what it is a storefront, fast food, friendly bodega!! For whatever reason I found myself here a few times this week for the empanadas for their meals. I took my son here and we actually sat in the back with my grandson. It's not really a sitdown place, but we may do and the food was delicious the guys in the front of very nice and very helpful prices are pretty darn good. read more

We have been trying every restaurant in Long Beach, & it was Los Latinos's turn. It is a bare bones restaurant, since it is actually a deli/store, chock filled with every kind of Latin American soda, beer, snack, sandwich, household item etc. There are a couple of metal topped tables & 8 metal chairs plus two basic paintings on the wall & refrigerators filled from top to bottom with beverages halfway back through the store. That is the extent of the restaurant part. No ambiance, no waiter service, just good, abundant food. Steam tables up front hold lots of food choices (check out my accompanying pictures). We got bourbon chicken with plantain ($8 for a small plate, $10 for a large plate) & there was so much food piled on our plates that we could hardly finish. The chicken pieces were excellent, cooked & seasoned perfectly, as was the plantain. We will be back. read more

Going there since I was a child. Childhood favorite. Now? Horrible service, it's great if you like loud music and to be ignored when asked to be lowered. Or if you enjoy the taste of dirt in your undercooked potatoes. Absolutely no points rewarded. read more

Been going here since 2018 to pick up food for beach after train. It was great until now. Staff has changed and they take forever to make a sandwich. Hardly any beach snacks , no cookies , few chips and no Russian dressing read more

Have ordered takeout a few times from here. The bourbon chicken is great and so are the beef and chicken empanadas.

This place is awesome. I've only started getting food from here recently and can't wait to try everything they have to offer - I can say for sure that their sausage egg and cheese sandwiches are excellent, especially with their house made hot sauce!! Looking forward to my next visit. read more

You can feel the excitement and joy in this town as we all emerge from hibernation and wake up to life again. But wait, is anyone really hungry? You bet I am. Not for the usual fare. I want good, yummy, homestyle, not playing around.. Spanish food. If you share my cravings, Los Latinos is definitely the place for you. This place was busy today. I haven't seen so many folks in a while. It's great to see each other again. All the food in the glass showcase was incredible looking. Yesss.. I want the BBQ ribs, fried chicken, yellow rice, crispy plantains, cold beer. And whatever else you got. My wife says I'm too thin. Yeah baby, I've got permission to eat! I'm not wasting the chance. Los Latinos is calling me. The service is prompt and professional. The atmosphere is unpretentious, warm and welcoming, like coming home to family. Pricing here is very reasonable for the pricey town of Long Beach. And yes, all the food here is all so good, and what a treat. Living in Northern NJ with a huge Cuban population , I figured there's no way I could possibly get a decent Cuban sandwich after having moved to Lido. I was wrong. The guys make a killer sandwich. Slow cooked pork, good bread. Delicious. Giant sandwich for $10. They also had a great looking steam table. Fresh chicharones! read more

I'm so happy I tried this place! We ordered the beef and chicken empanadas, Maduros, bourbon chicken with yellow rice and a side of macaroni salad. Everything was so good especially the empanadas and macaroni salad. Delivery came pretty quick too! Will need to try other things next time! read more

We ordered for pickup. We didn't get one small item from our order, but we called the store and they promptly resolved the issue with many many apologies. The food is delicious. I recently moved to Long Beach. I had just finished getting an early morning haircut and needed a coffee. I saw this nondescript awning that said Los Latinos and figured they might have some coffee. Well...they had coffee and so much more!!! The amount of fresh cooked food they had in the steam trays behind the glass made my head spin. It looked SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD. My need for a quick coffee turned into a craving for delicious Spanish food and I was not disappointed. Fried rice, roast pork, chicharrones, bistec, plantanos, red beans. I had a feast. (There was a lot more and the staff was really nice and patient explaining what was what. If you're not accustomed to a lot of this food, but want to try it, the helpfulness of the staff makes it non-intimidating. Come in and try! ) It was all amazing. Honestly, the best I've ever had. But I looked in and saw their amazing hot bar. So many different types of Spanish foods. All hot and fresh. The pleasant woman behind the counter will fill your order. Los Latinos rocks! Had one of the best Cuban sandwiches ever yesterday. Meats, cheese, mustard and pickle, perfectly pressed on Cuban bread. Along with a horchata it made the perfect beach lunch. The selection of hot dishes literally has something for everybody, which was evidenced by the line of people out the door. One of the best values in Long Beach. read more

Having been a Long Beach native my entire life, my grandmother had been shopping here for items that she could not get in a regular grocery store back in the 60's/70's. It has probably changed owners a few times but has some great food items on their steam table, huge 3 dollar iced coffees and they get you in and out fast. read more

I was looking to cater some food for a small party and I took my chances and went with Los Latinos. I was worried because I never ordered one thing from them. I picked up my food before 10am and when I got home and took a taste of the pernil and chicharrón de pollo I was so impressed. Everything was so tasty. Stopped in for a quick lunch. Got the large plate with yellow rice, beans, and the beef stew. Everything was delicious. Would definitely recommend trying the hot sauce too, some good heat there. I was in recently to buy some of their delicious, freshly prepared food & the workers were properly masked & behind a protective barrier yet no customers on line were wearing masks or socially distancing so I decided to leave because I did not feel safe as the store is somewhat small & narrow. Unfortunate since they are so nice there & run a clean operation; I'll return in future when there is a vaccine, I guess. read more
