This restaurant was recommended to us, so we decided to give it a try. Super delicious! Among all of us, we enjoyed the cheese dip, a chicken rice bowl, a shrimp quesadilla, a fajita quesadilla, and a torre de mariscos. We also had one margarita and one mojito. Across the board, everything was delicious! The torre was a massive serving and super interesting- basically a tower of ceviche. The only off thing was that it was a $3 upcharge for the mojito to have a flavor which seems high. Otherwise, pricing was good, and our waiter, Fernando, was great. Had a late lunch here today- I'll say the drinks were really good! Had a Mai Tai and a Vodka tonic they didn't cheap Out on the booze lol. And the Mai Tai came so cute! To tell the truth, was not enthused when we showed up and the had loud disco style music going. I requested mellow pop and she accommodated my request. We are always on the lookout for good Mexican food. The aroma from the parking lot was wonderful so we had high hopes that this "close to our neighborhood " would be a winner. The interior was bright and well maintained. The booths were carved with interesting scenes (but not really comfortable to sit in). We were quickly greeted, our beverage order taken (a beer, a water without lemon and a water with lemon). Chips and salsa were also delivered. The salsa was very mild which was good for several of our party and the Valentina hot sauce on the table was new to me and very flavorful. We also opted for the table side guacamole which was very good. The menu offerings were plentiful and we placed our order with some alterations to the menu. I added shrimp to my chicken dish and double rice, no beans. Another asked for two orders of tacos, one lingua and one beef. When the drinks arrived, we received two water with lemon and sweet ice tea. It was quickly corrected. When the order came, the taco order had only 3 tacos rather than six. My meal had beans and rice and no shrimp. It took us a while to get someone's attention to address the discrepancies. Ultimately, the beans and rice were unchanged but the shrimp were delivered. Only two more tacos were delivered instead of three. The food was VERY good and our waiter apologized profusely for the errors. There was no adjustment to our bill but one can only address issues so many times before it starts to cut into the enjoyment of the company and the meal. Will we go back? As I said, the food was GOOD. But it will be a while before we try them again. read more

We were driving from Orlando to Ocala and saw this restaurant and stopped for a bite to eat. We were shocked that they were so busy on a Wednesday. Everybody seemed to be in there. We checked in with the host and waited about 15 minutes we were set and it took a little while for our order to be taken and our food to arrive however they were slammed. It was average Mexican food. The salsa was was decent. It was cool to have the colored chips. we tried the Pollo Loco and the fajitas. The meat was chopped, which was a different from all the fajitas we've ever had, but it was still good food. read more

Taco was fried shell with beef, lettuce and cheese. Beef was boring, seemed unseasoned to us. Would have liked something else in burrito filling (refrieds, lettuce, salsa, something please). Sincronizada looked like a quesadilla. Chicken was moist, avocado slices were easy to spread. Happily for me, majority of jalapeños were off to the side so it wasn't too overwhelming in spice heat. Let me start by saying, I have been to this restaurant many times and the food and service have been excellent. Also, I have recommended this restaurant to many people. Therefore, I know that what happened yesterday was not typical, but if I do not inform you, you will not be able to fix the problem. It was the service I received from one of your employees, Yuliana. She asked us what drinks we wanted, then when she returned with them she took our order. After waiting for awhile, we asked another server for chips and salsa, as she had not brought any. When the chips and salsa came, it was followed immediately with our food. After eating she cleared our table of plates, never asking if we needed anything more to drink and then did not return until we had to motion for her to give us our bill. Upon returning with our bill, and realizing that she had never offered me my second margarita for Happy Hour, asked me then if I wanted another margarita - when I was ready to leave! The other people I was sitting with, said they will not be back because of the bad service. I like your food and know this was an off visit of the many I have enjoyed. Maybe I prefer Tex mex while my folks are on a budget since they are retired? My folks usually come here for $1 taco Tuesday or $1 enchilada Wednesday. I wanted to try a little of everything. The taco was fantastic! I wasn't expecting the burrito to be covered in salsa, but now that I know that maybe next time I will order it without or with an other sauce. It was still good. The quesadilla was gross, with chewy chicken, salsa, and onions in the middle with no cheese. There was nothing holding it together. Basically it was a too saucy chicken taco with a grilled flour tortilla that fell apart trying to eat it. The worst part was the service. We sat for 20 minutes waiting to pay the tab. Located in s little plaza near KMart in Belleview the food here is excellent. Four of us went and managed to just make the lunch special that ends at 2:30. I had the fish tacos and quite honestly wasn't expecting much because it's not authentic authentic Mexican it's well above average bordering on excellent. The fish tacos were the best I've ever had including having had them in Mexican restaurant hot spots like California, New Mexico, and California. Crispy tender fish with cabbage topped with a delicious sauce. My wife had the 1/2 order of fajitas and still had enough to take home. She was also happy saying it was flavorful and perfectly cooked. Now you're probably thinking that this sounds like a five star review and based on this experience alone that would be true. However I'm somewhat of a Mexican food snob and when I asked about their taco Tuesday special they told me they are served on hard shell tacos, that's why I said they're not authentic authentic. Everyone knows an authentic Mexican taco is served on a soft tortilla, other than that this place is excellent! After that, decided to just order cheese dip with chorizo and guacamole dip. The chorizo cheese dip was disgusting, extremely greasy. Didn't eat much at all and the waitress didn't ask if I wanted a box, so she clearly saw the issue. Place was not over clean and some broken/rusted ceiling tiles were noted that need to be replaced. An employee was sleeping in a booth nearby. The waitress did not provide that good of service. There was a waiter who did check on me and helped a few times, as he could see no one had been by.
