My go-to drink everyday was a screwdriver, it was made with fresh orange juice every time, truly amazing! The people working there were just as amazing, sweetest people and the best service I received while in Spain. They remembered me and would bring me my drink upon arrival. First of all, the staff and owner are all super lovely and kind.The owner spoke excellent English and helped us with the menu selection and explained the food components. I loved the whimsy of the menu with its musical odes to singers and song writers spanning rock, country and opera. The artwork on the walls matches the vibrancy and artistry of the menu plus they played great background music, so all combined into a feast of the senses. We started of with lovely Morrocan Mint tea, which tasted super and then I went for the Tasting Menu which included innovative dishes such as Elvis's Hips (a Tapas Winner for 2014), Pavarotti's Vigor (Lamb and Couscous) and they were kind enough to substitute a Salad instead of Janis Joplin's Strength which had beef which I don't eat. I thought the flavours of the food were sublime and loved every bite. So end verdict? I stayed in a hotel right next to the beach!…read more Although the waters are salty (it IS the Mediterranean Sea) and a tad bit cold, even in a time like August, I still really enjoyed this beach. It's a great time for families to enjoy their time here, with bars and restaurants in this area. Many people build BEAUTIFUL sandcastles for display - though you'll need to pay to take a picture with them (interesting way for people to make money)! There are still quite a bit of shells that you will see in this beach, especially if you're lucky, they're right along the coast! The best part about this beach are probably the beach shops and souvenirs right beside it. It was super convenient, and it brought a culture to this beach. I would definitely recommend living in the hotels close to the beach, super convenient!!
