Consistently the greasiest food I've ever had. Used to be good, now its awful. The waiter was awesome though.

Some of the best Mexican food around, and service is always great. Really recommend it.

I would crawl through a mile of broken glass for a restaurant with a smoking section.,... Oh, and their foods good too.

Was taken here by family last week - we all LOVED it! Yes, a "dive". Nothing fancy. Great food.

It was so good, we went back the second night! We were in town for 3 days and so glad we found this place. Complimentary salsa = excellent blend & texture. Cheese dip is excellent. The ribeye Chimichanga meal includes thin refied beans, light fluffy rice and a "Mexican salad" (lettuce, pico, guacamole and sour cream....for $10! I cleared my plate, twice haha! My fiancée got the Carnitas, and wowow! Braised then flash fried, the huge chunks of pork pulled apart easily to reveal sight pink meat perfection. This dish is a MUST HAVE and is a huge portion. We tried both the churro and Mexican ice cream dessert and the ridiculous fried cheesecake and ice cream. Save room, they are also amazing! $45 meal with drinks, best bang for your buck by far. We have literally no complaints other than there isn't a location in KC! Thanks!!

We have never found a Mexican restaurant that accommodates to our picky needs and has such a variety of food to choose from. I was shocked that a 24oz beer was under $4 and our waitstaff was very friendly and accommodating. There was four in our group and we had burritos and an assortment of tacos with sides and drinks. Very reasonable priced. A definite recommend if looking for good Mexican food .

Anyhow, it's white people taco night food. Steak fajitas were fine--steak was underseasoned and a bit chewy, but peppers, guac, and pico were relatively fresh. Tortillas were soft, rice and beans were lukewarm and nothing special. Food came out extremely fast, and I appreciated the big portions after a long day of hiking. Deep fried ice cream wasn't my favorite but maybe it's just not my thing.

There was a covered portion, but we stayed in the sun to stay warm in the cool spring air. The server sat us immediately and brought us complimentary fresh chips and salsa. We were starving, so we gobbled them up while flipping through the extensive menu. The servers brought us extra chips and salsa while we waited for our food and drinks. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and two steak tacos off the à la carte lunch menu (until 3pm daily). There was a $0.99 upcharge each for grilled vs shredded chicken and carne asada vs ground beef, and it was totally worth it. My daughter ordered two grilled chicken quesadillas as well. And our friends ordered beef nachos and a fajita platter. All of it was delicious, with large portions. I had a couple of house margaritas, which were tasty and a steal at just $5.50 each. My only complaints were that the queso dip was rather small and not worth the $5, and (like most places) they charge way too much for a soda ($3.25). The service was excellent. Our server Juan was friendly and very attentive, and several others checked in on us throughout our meal to ensure we were taken care. I'll definitely be back the next time I visit Cave City, Hidden River Cave, or Kentucky Down Under.
