The lady working, believe her name was Michelle, refused to let me buy lotto scratchers. I came with a valid ID, as well as a debit card. Michelle had told me I couldn't buy $20 worth of scratchers. Thanks for the concern Michelle but it's my money?? She refused to let me use my debit card and I had to use cash. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

Not practicing social distancing. The cashier making excuses well she had people visiting her inside the store. All I needed to do was pay for my fuel she wouldn't come get my credit card, and no one moved they just hung out. Cashier was rude also an educated obviously. I was in park gear, in my car, in the car wash when a large noise banged my car. Yes, there was damage. About $2500. The two wheels were cut, the cloth scrubbers took the paint off down to the base. Very bad damage. I went in to find out the claim procedure and a crazy latin woman started to yell at me, disrepect me and I had no choice but to leave. I DO have class and do not like any kind of a scene. She followed me out while yelling and scared me as I jumped in my car and locked the door. I did call 911 and a very nice officer said he would call the owner. He told me it is a civil action and he wouldn't take a report. I waited and waited for that call back. Since they have this sign that says they are not responsible for anything I was told I can't win in small claims. Why do I have to pay for this? I have done nothing at all except trust a business to first provide the service paid for and if/when something were to happen to do the right thing. Now, my insurance will go up and I have a huge deductable to pay. THIS IS NOT RIGHT. read more

This is the Shell gas station on 1 right before you hit 101. Nothing memorable, except for the bathroom. There was a line for the bathroom, and the attendant told the lady in front of me to use the employee bathroom. She quickly emerged and fell back in line and he told me "go ahead to the employee bathroom, there should be enough light back there for ya". Ok, weird, whatever. So, I walk into the bathroom, and try to flip on the switch, nope, not working. The only light that was available in the bathroom was the flickering remnant of a fluorescent bulb. This reminded me of the movie "Saw" where the only light is that flickering bulb, and you have to make the decision to saw off your hand or die. In this case, I had to pee or else. I finished my business and got the hell out there. read more

This Shell Station isn't in Los Osos, but on LOVR in SLO. I rarely fill up and never have used the car wash here. I'm giving 4 stars because the guy working in the morning is awesome. They have coffee in the morning. read more

This is the closest Shell I have near me but I make sure to avoid this one because it's so pricey compared to other places. Save yourself some $$ on gas and make that short trip to the one on Foothill/Santa Rosa, where it will be at least around 20 cents cheaper per gallon. read more

Great Service and Great savings on Gas. We saved .20 cents a gallon with a Regular Wash. Lots of people in other reviews complain about the Wash... Trick is to Drive on the Freeway right after, the dryers never work right. If you want a perfect wash go to a Self Serve car wash or one where it costs double and they dry it by hand! read more

I bought a V-power wash, their 'best' wash. After the wash, there were still bugs and gunk on my hood, windshield, and top of my car. The wind dryer also spits out water, so while your car is being dryer it is also being sprayed, so the car ends up with water spots. I went in to complain and ask to have the wash redone and the woman we very reluctant to give me a new wash. She said that I should NOT expect the hood and windshield to be clean and that the wash is not very good. She finally gave me another wash and it is still NOT clean. I have to agree with the shell employee, not a very good wash. read more

I stopped at this gas station because of the car wash, but was left with a car full of water spots from either hard water or dirty recycled water or both. After 20 minutes of wiping my car down I got it to where it should have been when I exited the car wash. read more

Why would anyone go here? One of the stations down the street was literally 40 cents cheaper per gallon ($3.99 to $4.39). No thanks.
