When we arrived the restaurant wasn't too busy, but since we made reservation we got a table right away. Inside of the restaurant looked nice, several tables and a full service bar. The menu had a good mix of Mexican and Peruvian dishes. I started with the mango butterfly lemonade that was such a tasty drink. For appetizer we got the Flautists, a dish full of cheese and guacamole, but the shells so hard from deep fry. For entree I got the steak burrito. It was huge, filled with decent steak, lots of rice and other ingredients. We also had ceviche de mariscos, which was full of semi steamed seafood items. The chicken quesadilla was actually good. The service was fine overall. Staff members checked on us time to time. The dishes came out in short intervals. Overall it seemed like a okay dining spot to me.

Warm and good flavor. I was eating that quesadilla for 2 days. I want to order sopa de mariscos but either I slipped or he heard me wrong, I got ceviche de mariscos. Couldn't really enjoy much of the dish. I don't eat raw food. But really big portion. People who like ceviche will enjoy it. Lots FIFA decoration. It's not a big restaurant. But it's a good size for locals.

The staff were very friendly and they checked in pretty frequently. The food was incredible, very authentic; so much so that the beans made me emotional because they tasted exactly like my grandfather use to make them before he passed away. I would gladly make the 2.5 hour trip to come back and eat again. The prices were very fair for the quality and quantity of food that you get. The steak was clearly fresh and flavorful. Genuinely a 10/10 find. This place is the perfect reason not to judge a book by its cover.

My…read morecoworker recommended this location, mentioning that the Chorizo Tacos were her favorite, so I decided to visit. The establishment is located at the corner of the street, and parking may be limited due to its placement on a one-way street. Fortunately, I was able to find parking nearby. Since this is in Stamford's downtown area, please be prepared for potential parking challenges. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted and asked whether I preferred to dine in or take out. I chose to dine in to experience the ambiance fully. I was informed that I could sit anywhere, and I placed my order: chorizo, Birria, steak, Al Pastor with pineapple, and pork carnitas tacos. My order was served in approximately fifteen minutes. The Chorizo taco was very flavorful and enjoyable, and I agree with my coworker that it was excellent. The Al Pastor taco with pineapple was good, though I found the pineapple flavor could be a bit more pronounced, and I personally would prefer less fat on the meat. The steak taco was tasty but a little dry; the meat was well-cooked and flavorful, but it lacked moisture. The Birria taco was acceptable, with each establishment offering its own unique take; this one used a soft tortilla, whereas I typically enjoy mine with a crunch and served with consommé broth. It was satisfactory but slightly on the dry side. The pork carnitas taco was flavorful and satisfying. Overall, if I return, I would especially recommend the Chorizo tacos, as they stood out to me. The customer service was courteous and attentive, and I appreciate supporting small, family-operated businesses. I would be happy to visit again.

From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming, friendly and attentive all the way through to the bar. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of seating options and a great atmosphere. We tried the recommended octopus, but it didn't quite live up to the hype for me. The sangria was okay, though it wasn't the experience I was hoping for. The empanadas satisfied the craving, and the taquitos with their dipping sauce were definitely one of the highlights. We also ordered a few mixed cocktails and several of them were very good. Where this place really shines is the nightlife. The dance floor had a great vibe, and the DJ absolutely killed it by the end of the night. While the food was a mixed experience for me, I'd definitely come back for the atmosphere, drinks, music and overall nightlife.

The Ambience: The physical space and decor were very nice and well-designed. The Bad: The Gatekeeping vs. The Reality: The restaurant tries hard to pose as a high-caliber, fine-dining establishment--even going so far as to request that guests remove their hats and sunglasses before entering. However, this "elite" illusion was immediately shattered when we were welcomed by a hostess aggressively chewing gum like a cow. If you're going to enforce a strict, upscale dress code, the front-of-house staff should match that level of professionalism. The Vibe Dissonance: While the decor was lovely, the music and the DJ completely clashed with the overall look and feel of the venue. It felt confused about what kind of establishment it wanted to be and loud. The Food & Drinks: Mediocre: The food was just okay, and the drinks were simply alright. Nothing stood out or justified the high-end posturing. The Verdict: It was an interesting experience to try once, but between the mixed signals and average menu, we wouldn't go back.
