Driving from Texas, and we chose this place because it was close to 10 and neither of us wanted Cajun food today. Not too busy for 11:45am on a Friday. The prices are good and the food came out quick and hot. Refried beans were actually really good, and the chicken enchilada was decent. The quesadilla was WAY too greasy though and my husband regretted that decision. He said Taco Bell would've been better than that. They probably should've used the chicken that I had in my enchilada in his quesadilla. My corn chicken taco wasn't the best. The chips and salsa weren't anything special; salsa was only slightly above Pace sauce with a little cilantro. I've definitely had worse though. The safe choice is beans and enchiladas.

My family was on a long road trip from coast-to-coast and back again. This leg was from New a Orleans to Houston. We wanted Mexican and I found this place on Yelp vis the iExit iOS app a few exits ahead. It was great! It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside it is really cute. The decode is well done, artwork on the walls, carved wooden chairs and ornate tables. They truly care about the appearance. The food matched the quality of the decor. It was excellent! I had the Fajitas Texana, which comes with shrimp, beef, chicken and chorizo. The spices were perfect and the grilled peppers and onions were done to perfection! My wife had the chicken fajitas and my kids had steak quesadillas. All were great. The chips were warm and the salsa was good. The salsa could have had a little more zing to it, but otherwise it was good. I don't know if we will ever travel by here again, but if we do, we will definitely stop! This is a gem.

Two for 1 margaritas, flan and a carafe of salsa

Great find in such a small town for a late Saturday night dinner. Service was great, authentic vibe, two for 1 margaritas (rocks or frozen) and delicious food. The salsa comes in a carafe so, you don't have to worry about running out. The chips were fresh and refilled quickly. The queso was good but, not the best I have had. The dessert Flan looked beautiful and got the thumbs up from my guy. I ordered the chicken with mushrooms covered in cheese as the entree and I think it was called the Pollo Loco. This was huge, made up of two large chicken breasts covered in plenty of mushrooms and cheese. It was good while it was piping hot but, as it cooled the grease under it and the cheese mixed together to make a salty mixture that was so salty I couldn't even eat any more. It was good so just ask them to go light on the salt or maybe ask for a plate to put it on so, you can get it out of the grease to eat it. The price was really reasonable and the only negative besides the salty food was that they have a pond right out front of the building and we got mosquito bites while eating. Probably not the best design choice being in Louisiana.

Yummy!! Service isn't the greatest but the food is good! I had the burrito Guadalajara and it exceeded my expectations.

queso is awesome!!!!! I had the chicken quesadillas. They had so much meat on them! My daughter had the beef fajitas and the plate was covered in meat. Great place. Nice find!!! Will be back next year on our vacation pass thru!!

I absolutely love the food here. Definitely worth the stop. Service is friendly and the food is delivered hot and fast.

Good little Tex-Mex place right off of I10 in Jennings, LA. We haven't had any Mexican the whole month we've been gone, so we were overdue!

Very fast and friendly service! We ordered cheese enchiladas, veggie fajitas and chalupas. Food was served in less than 5 minutes and was very good. We had to sit on the patio since we are traveling with a cat and couldn't leave him in the hot car. Nice shaded patio with a fountain. Very accommodating wait staff. Nice break on the long I10 trek all the way from Mississippi to Texas!

    Great Margaritas and free chips/salsa!

They typically choose where to eat when we come visit and lately this has been their preference. Not many options out here, but honestly, compared to all the options in Baton Rouge, it's pretty comparable to a Las Palmas or Casa Maria as it has a chain feel to it. Three other locations in Louisiana, but my in-laws say this location in Jennings offers a bit more on their menu however. We've sampled quite a bit on the menu (kids' chicken tender and fries meal, chimichanga, tortilla soup, fajitas, taco salad with grilled shrimp, and of course salsa and chips. Again, nothing incredibly unique but pretty standard quality Mexican food and options. A few reviews mentioned service, and I wouldn't criticize it honestly. Everyone has been nice, they appear to be slow with taking our order and bringing our food, however, they've been busy every time we've been here, so it would make sense to take a little longer. The servers always seem to be hustling quite a bit too. So yep, check it out, and see for yourself!

I had the chicken quesidilla. came only with watery shredded chicken. No cheese onions peppers nothing. I have no idea why i didn't send it back normally i would have complained. My moms chicken enchiladas the same she did not eat them. For the lunch menu every single item was $14.40. No matter what you ordered the same price. That does not make sense. We will not be back

The stuffed jalapeños were good but would have been way better if they were hot We got them and they were like warm at best. Also beware these are not fresh stuffed jalapeños, they're made from pre made frozen batches. The cheese enchiladas were great and the rice and beans were just as great. The sauce they use on the enchiladas is different than other places as they use a brown sweet sauce which is very good instead of the red sauce a lot of restaurants use. This place could have gotten four stars for the food but the service was a little slow and the food was like warm. We went on a night that was not busy ( 3 tables were waited on) with four waiters so there was no excuse for our food to be warm like it was. So it is a good restaurant to visit and the prices are very affordable.
