Traveling home from Galveston and wanted Mexican Food. Easy off and easy on I10. We read reviews on Yelp and decided to try it. The outside appearance could use a little cleaning up. Food was delicious!! We ordered a Fajita Taco Salad and it was shaped like a giant Taco. Presentation was beautiful. The gentleman was very nice. Awesome lunch today, arrived and quickly sat ordered drinks and chips and salsa arrived. We ordered at 2:05pm and got our food no joke within 10 minutes! Everything was delicious and fresh! First time going there after looking at the reviews. When we arrived, the place was empty at 2:00 this afternoon. We ordered to go, the young lady at the register took our order (she was very nice). We waited for about 15 minutes (Not bad at all). We ordered some chicken quesadillas. When we got home the tortillas were so soggy and gross! We only live 5mins from the restaurant. The rice and beans were ok but I won't be back here. And we see why it was empty lol. I will be driving to lake Charles to go to El Paso Restaurant where it's mucho mucho Better!! read more

Driving from Texas, and we chose this place because it was close to 10 and neither of us wanted Cajun food today. Not too busy for 11:45am on a Friday. The prices are good and the food came out quick and hot. Refried beans were actually really good, and the chicken enchilada was decent. The quesadilla was WAY too greasy though and my husband regretted that decision. He said Taco Bell would've been better than that. They probably should've used the chicken that I had in my enchilada in his quesadilla. My corn chicken taco wasn't the best. The chips and salsa weren't anything special; salsa was only slightly above Pace sauce with a little cilantro. I've definitely had worse though. The safe choice is beans and enchiladas. read more

My family was on a long road trip from coast-to-coast and back again. This leg was from New a Orleans to Houston. We wanted Mexican and I found this place on Yelp vis the iExit iOS app a few exits ahead. It was great! It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside it is really cute. The decode is well done, artwork on the walls, carved wooden chairs and ornate tables. They truly care about the appearance. The food matched the quality of the decor. It was excellent! I had the Fajitas Texana, which comes with shrimp, beef, chicken and chorizo. The spices were perfect and the grilled peppers and onions were done to perfection! My wife had the chicken fajitas and my kids had steak quesadillas. All were great. The chips were warm and the salsa was good. The salsa could have had a little more zing to it, but otherwise it was good. I don't know if we will ever travel by here again, but if we do, we will definitely stop! This is a gem. read more

Great find in such a small town for a late Saturday night dinner. Service was great, authentic vibe, two for 1 margaritas (rocks or frozen) and delicious food. The salsa comes in a carafe so, you don't have to worry about running out. The chips were fresh and refilled quickly. The queso was good but, not the best I have had. The dessert Flan looked beautiful and got the thumbs up from my guy. I ordered the chicken with mushrooms covered in cheese as the entree and I think it was called the Pollo Loco. This was huge, made up of two large chicken breasts covered in plenty of mushrooms and cheese. It was good while it was piping hot but, as it cooled the grease under it and the cheese mixed together to make a salty mixture that was so salty I couldn't even eat any more. It was good so just ask them to go light on the salt or maybe ask for a plate to put it on so, you can get it out of the grease to eat it. The price was really reasonable and the only negative besides the salty food was that they have a pond right out front of the building and we got mosquito bites while eating. Probably not the best design choice being in Louisiana. read more

Very fast and friendly service! We ordered cheese enchiladas, veggie fajitas and chalupas. Food was served in less than 5 minutes and was very good. We were on a road trip from Houston to New Orleans and decided to stop for food and stretching. Found the restaurant at Google Maps and decided to try. Cute mexican decór, fast service and good food. The fajitas were delicious but we tried enchiladas and taquitos which were also good. The bathroom could be a little bit nicer and cleaner but is spacious. I had no expectations going in here, in my experience the more colors and cheesiness and proximity to a highway the worse the food. I just wanted something different than a burger. My girlfriend had the garden quesadilla and I had the chimichanga. I must say I was amazed by the small things like the quality of the guacamole or the salsa we got with our tacos that was included as a starter. Let me start off by saying I come here a lot but today I witnessed what I believe some of the most racist behavior by any manger or employee for that matter. This evening I say a beautiful couple laughing, conversing, being loving to each other. In the mist of what I saw I watched the manger walk over and tell the couple they need to move over and give the people next to them space. Now, this would of made sense to me if!, I thought the couple next to them were really invading their space but when I tell it was literally a table distance between the two couples, so I did not understand the managers request. When the manager made the request to have the couple move and the other couple space both couple hade the look of confusion on their face. The manager pick up the drinks and moved them behind the bar. I heard the couple say your not bothering us at all and we did not say or indicate that anything was wrong, and that there was any problem. That couple actually looked upset and shocked! The male that was with the couple that was asked to move. Ask the manager to explain why he Did what he did and the manager had the most guilty face and had not one answer for the gentleman. From observation the manager had a personal problem with the couple and acted on his own accord. It was sad to see that a place I love would treat someone in this fashion! read more

Ate here on a Monday night while on a business trip. There's not a lot open on Monday nights in Jennings! The salsa was really good with quite a kick, but the chips were stale. When looking at the menu, I asked the server what kind of vegetables were in the garden quesadilla since it just listed 'garden vegetables' but he had no idea. I went ahead and ordered the garden quesadilla, but the thing was so stuffed that I had to eat it with a knife and fork. There was no way to eat it without all of the ingredients just sliding out of the tortilla and on to the plate. It was also ridiculously greasy (the cheese they used seemed really oily). My dining partner ordered a fajita quesadilla but disliked it enough that she didn't finish it. Overall disappointing. read more
