We've been living in Riverside for almost 9 years and would always see this place. Well, this last weekend was the weekend we checked them out. Husband had tacos and I had a burrito de cabeza. Food was solid. I had asked for the red salsa but they warned me it was really spicy so I opted for the green one. Glad I went with green, and appreciated the warning! Green salsa was just spicy enough to enjoy the meal. I would totally return to buy their cooked food and check out their meat selection. Super dissatisfied! I would definitely give it ZERO stars if I could. First of all let me say that I've only heard amazing things about this place. So when I went there for dinner I was expecting a delicious meal but that's not what I got. I ordered one Chicken taco, one al pastor taco, and one taco de tripas. They looked delicious, but when I got to the cashier there was another customer that was being given her money back because her food had a couple of maggots in them. I looked at her food and did see the maggots moving. I was appalled and disgusted. The employee promised her that they would check the meat ASAP & the customer left. As soon as the customer had left the employee laughed & made some rude remarks about the customer to another employee in front of me and then moved on to the next customer in line. I never saw her check anything or even forward the information to another employee. Obviously I cancelled my tacos and waited around for a little while just to see if they would check the food or stop service, but they moved on with business as usual. I definitely won't be back and I will be making sure of letting my friends and family know about my one and only experience there. read more

One word: Delicioso!!! The place is a small meat market but at least it doesn't smell in there. The tacos are on the smaller side, but they are not greasy!
