I've had many taco's in Phoenix, Vegas, Nor Cal these are damn near the best ive had, grew tired of local food, decided to give this taco truck a try and wasn't disappointed, this is my 2nd time in 2 days. had the Adabado, and the carne asada. Both amazing flavors and reasonable 3/6$ not sure what was better the salsa or the tacos definetly fire together. They close a 6 pm on the Northwest corner of Van Buren and 48th St behind the 7/11. Had the carnitas as well 10/10 fabulous flavor, seen them naking a birria burrito looked so good.

I've been eating tacos for many many years. However, Los R's tacos were the best I've had in a loooooong time.

As I got older, I eventually started coming to this location, and honestly, I feel like the tacos here are even better. The meat has an amazing flavor, the quality of the tacos is always on point, the service is great, and I really enjoy the overall vibe of the area. My usual order is 6 tacos de asada and 3 de tripa, along with a Coca-Cola en botella or an horchata. The food is consistently delicious, the service is fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is especially enjoyable on weekend nights. It's one of those places where people come after a night of partying or just because they're looking for somewhere open late to get some seriously good tacos. This place also has a special meaning to me personally. I brought my wife here on our first date, and I hope that one day I can bring my son here when he's old enough to enjoy the food. I've shared so many memories here with friends and family over the years, and I plan to keep coming back for as long as this place is open and I'm around. For me, this isn't just another taco spot--it's a place with a real connection to my life and a lot of great memories attached to it. I truly hope it continues to be around for many more years.

It's casual, satisfying, and always a little bit of a scene in the best way. There are tables if you want to sit, and depending on the hour, you might find yourself surrounded by suited business people, construction workers, late-night wanderers, or a mix of all three. In any case, it's always a trip. The ladies running the truck are all smiles and especially patient when this gringo places his order completely in Spanish. That alone makes the experience feel warm and fun before the food even arrives. This is exactly the kind of place downtown should have: no fuss, plenty of character, and food that satisfies the craving.

Random AF Taqueria - Birria Grilled Cheese Sandwich

The atmosphere was relaxed and casual. The value is hard to beat, six tacos for $20 is a solid deal. Here's how the tacos stacked up: Al Pastor (5/5): Easily the standout. The sweet pineapple paired perfectly with the savory pork, creating a great balance of flavors. I would have loved just a little more char on the meat, but it was still my favorite taco of the bunch. Birria (4/5): Full of flavor and definitely worth ordering. A strong second place. Asada (3/5): Good, but a bit more seasoning would have elevated it. Pollo (3/5): Tender and cooked well, but I would have liked a little more seasoning to make the flavor stand out. The rice and beans (3/5): were about what I'd expect, perfectly fine, but nothing that really stood out. I really enjoyed the corn tortillas. They had a slight crisp on the outside while staying soft inside, giving them a great texture. The guacamole sauce on top of the tacos added so much flavor that I hardly felt the need for salsa. The Al Pastor and Birria really carried the meal and made this a worthwhile stop. I probably wouldn't make a special trip across town just for it, but if I'm in the area and looking for a good taco deal, I'd definitely come back.

It came loaded with queso birria tacos, vampire tacos, a birria grilled cheese, birria egg rolls, and a huge pile of loaded fries. It's a bit of a drive for me, but I will absolutely be back. This place really knows how to bring the flavor when it comes to birria. Everything was packed with flavor and worth the trip. One thing to note: the location is a little surprising at first since it's inside a liquor store, which can be somewhat off-putting. Don't let that fool you, though--the food more than makes up for it. Highly recommended if you're a birria fan!

My friend and I waited and waited for the food. I opened the order when I got it before leaving the window and the lady working the window gave me someone else's food. Thankfully, and the other customer recognized their order and got their food just fine. The lady working the window apologized, gave me a water, and I waited longer. She apologized again and said that they'd bring the food to me. They didn't bring the food and instead gave part of my order to a different friend to bring to me. I went back and asked for the rest of the order. The lady working the window said that she gave me my order. I said no, we only got part of it. She then became unbelievably inappropriate saying that I'm lying, stealing from a Black man business owner, not well, and all kinds of things that were uncalled for because they were paid nearly $40 for the order plus a 20% tip! I told my friend what happened and to do a charge back. I went back again with the partial order to try and explain that this was all that was received. Instead, the woman working the window immediately started berating me, threatening to embarrass me, and other things that were incredibly unhelpful to reconcile the situation. Mind you, I am not the type to act a fool and was at the event representing an organization so at no time did I raise my voice or return the treatment I received from this business. She asked what I wanted her to do and I told her that a refund because I know how chargebacks are bad for small businesses. She said okay and asked for the last 4 digits of the card, so I had to get them from my friend. I went back to my friend to get the numbers, got back in line to give them to her, and I gave them to her. She asked why I kept getting back in line...well, how else was I supposedto get help because that line was the only line. Instead of refunding my friend, the lady shut the window, talked to the owner, and reopened the window and started taking more orders. I got back in line again to find out if the refund had been done and she said that they were not going to refund and there was nothing else that they could do. I told my friend this and she's going to move forward hopefully with the chargeback. Mind you if the order and had been fulfilled correctly, then I wouldn't have had to go back multiple times asking for the order nor would I be writing this negative review. Our other friends who actually got their orders said the food was good, so there's that I suppose. This type of exchange is why so many businesses fail. Simple things like decent service and order management. I was not the only person waiting for an extended period. I was not the only person whose order was messed up. I encourage this business to invest in an digital order taking CMS and not writing things in dark pen on the boxes themselves. If digital order taking isn't possible for now, and that's OK if it is, then invest in guest check server notepads. They are less than $10 on Amazon. The orders can be written on them with customers' names and phone numbers, the bottom can be torn off for customers to have while they are waiting for food, and, in order for a customer to receive their order, they must surrender the torn off portion. Doing something either electronically or handwritten like explained would provide a system for checks and balance instead of relying on someone's memory. Also, consider coaching, retraining, and/or replacing the woman that was working the window today as her behavior is bad for business. She was not able to or chose not to maintain composure, decorum, and handle the pressure of all of the customer traffic. Though I did not get loud, she did get loud with me and other customers saw this every time she did this. That affects business. Her choices and behavior today cost this business vending opportunities with me, my employer, the organization I was representing at today's event, and probably with other customers who saw her disrespect, treatment, and unkindness towards me.
