Service was so friendly and welcoming! Pricing was very reasonably priced and the portions are so generous. Inside was spacious and had plenty of seating. The Quesabirria ($3.99) was so delicious! It was stuffed with tender and juicy shredded beef! It was packed with flavor and the dipping sauce was so good! The taco was so cheesy and fresh! Definitely a must get! Horchata ($4.64) was good and refreshing. It had lots of cinnamon on the bottom so definitely needed a good stir prior to drinking. Such a great Mexican place! I would recommend this place extremely highly! Food: I got the chicken quesadilla which was probably the best flavored quesadilla I've had in a while. They give you bottles of source to use which I loved. We also got the quesabarilla which is beef based, so I didn't have any. But my friends review was 10/10 in terms of flavors Drinks: horchata was really sweet for me. But the drinks are substantial so I'd recommend getting 1 to share Service: good service! The asada and tripa I tasted were good and rich in flavor. The cabeza meat was a bit lacking in flavor for my taste. The asada was definitely my favorite. The one thing that was not to my liking was the menudo; I love menudo, and this one just wasn't it for me. Parrilla Los Picos is still the best for menudo hands down. This seems like a bit of a dive restaurant, but it is clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Some are bilingual, and some only speak Spanish. Many times, we are the only non-Hispanic people there, which I love. You know, the food is good and authentic. We haven't had anything here that we haven't enjoyed. By far, the best street tacos in town. They also have excellent cabeza tortas, as well as a variety of different meats for burritos and other dishes. This place is a hidden gem and honestly delicious... just have a few bits of feedback for improvement. I had birria tacos and birria quesadilla (both of which were SO GOOD), but anywhere else I've had birria, I also get the consome that automatically comes with it. When we got home, it wasn't there - so either it's not automatic or they forgot. All of the salsas were amazing. Pro tip: order a side of beans and dump the hot salsa in the beans, mix, enjoy. What a disappointment. I was craving some carne asada fries. After searching through many places, I chose Taqueria Obson. I called in to order them on my way to work and requested that onion and cilantro be added. I arrived early, knowing those fries need to be eaten fresh, or at the very least open the container so they don't get soggy. Well, to my disappointment, there was not a single crispy fry in my dish. And it wasn't the kind of soggy that sat in a hot box. It was just never crisp, completely soggy, not even light brown in color. Like nearly white fries. And the carne asada looks more like ground taco meat and the onion/Cilantro wasn't added. All this to say it was a complete BUST!! I will never return to this place and don't recommend. read more

I After receiving my order and seeing the size of the tacos, I wasn't too happy. Tacos were both small and overly priced at roughly $4 each. The place had good reviews so my expectations high. Tacos had sum decent flavor, but it could have been much better for the price you pay. I really wanted to support small businesses, but this taco spot is not for me. It's a ONE and DONE. My first time trying birria tacos, these were absolutely delicious! The tacos were cooked perfectly. Order them with the birria consommé, a rich and hearty beef broth to dip the tacos in. Obson: The Best Taco Spot in Arizona If you love hole-in-the-wall restaurants that serve unbelievably good food, you absolutely have to check out Obson. My roommate and I stumbled upon this place a few years ago while apartment hunting. We joked about going in, but when we saw the parking lot packed with cars on our way back, we decided to give it a shot. Honestly, if this place were closer to where I live, I'd probably be eating there almost every day. The "mexican" taco was different - different type of steak? Not as good as other times

My sister and I stopped by here after arriving to AZ and needed to eat asap. I've never had Mexican food before in AZ and decided why not give it a try. There's parking in front of the spot and coming inside, they have a lot of seating on the left side for big groups and more seating on the right side if needed. The girl in the front gave us a menu to look at so we didn't have to worry about trying to see the one on the wall. I ordered 2 quesabirria tacos and one al pastor. My sister got a mulita. I thought the al pastor was fine, a solid 6.5/7. I think it was missing some of the pineapple flavor i love that comes with most al pastor i have had. I knew this was going to be a great meal when I saw the guy at the grill outside. It did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I was with a coworker who says "I can eat Mexican food for every meal". When the waiter greets you they bring sauce bottles of delicious green chile, guacamole, and red salsa. We enjoyed every bite. We had the asada, birria and Mexicano tacos. They were served with fresh cilantro and onions and fresh cucumber, raddish, lime and consume for dipping your tacos in. Honestly, I could not decide between dipping and not dipping everything was so good. I was drinking the consume uppppp! I even took home the left over consume to enjoy later. There are tables and booths although the booths are kind of narrow - if you're not, I would sit at a table.
