My wife and I stop by this hidden gem. My wife has lived in Bay Point for over 17 years and didn't know this place was here. We stop by on a whim and discovered we were in one of the best restaurants we have been to in a long time. I noticed the stars rating this place are 3 1/2. I am confused. My mother, grandmother, and now my wife are were and are excellent cooks. Mexican cuisine, and Belizian cuisine (my wife) is there expertise. This restaurant is 5 stars. Our opinion carries weight. Lol. BTW, service was 5 stars as well.

My parents love this place so they invited me. I really enjoyed the service and the food so I took my wife here as well. We ordered the dinner combo 2 enchiladas and bistec ranchero. We both enjoyed our food (we shared). The chips were fresh and the salsa was seasoned well and not spicy. The enchilada (grilled chicken) was well seasoned and the green sauce complimented the dish. The beans and rice were also really good. The bistec was a little spicy (for my wife) but perfect r for me. We recommend this place. The portions were plenty and the service was great. There's plenty of parking and seating inside. There was also a steady line of people getting food to go.

I've been going to this location for years. Last night I ordered 2 super burritos and a horchata. @ 9:14pm I arrived at the store @9:39pm. The restraunt closes at 10pm and it has always been 10pm as opposed to the Los Reyes on Bailey Rd that closes earlier. The doors were locked when I arrived. I had to call again to make sure I was at the right location. Once someone finally opened the door, i confirmed my order of 2 super burritos and 1 large horchata. Then I was told it's was only 1 super burrito. So now my issue is, instead of honoring closing hours you're closing early. Not only that but you got my order wrong, and the kitchen is closed even though it is 9:40pm? I don't even write reviews. There is usually a woman there serving people, she has been there for YEARS! Great service and she is so nice. Who ever was working last night was a Face i'd never seen and customer service was horrible. I clearly stated make that 2 super burritos TWICE on the telephone. We had to go find another place to get food because I was ordering for myself and my mother. But eh who cares ‍

I just wanted to say that my wife and I ordered food from Los Reyes today and we were not Happy with our food. I ordered the birria pizza and my wife ordered a super wet carnitas burrito. When we go home to eat and her burrito meat seem dry and hard on the inside I'm not sure if the meat was just sitting all day or what, But she ended up only eat a quarter of it. I was also disappointed about my pizza that I ordered too. When I opened the box it looked so good, but I was not expecting it to be so soggy. I ate it anyway cause I was starving. We have ordered food here before and we had no problem with those orders. I guess it's just one of those days.

On April 30, 2023 Sunday. We come here to have lunch right after Church so, we decided to try it out. My hubby order carnitas and Modelo beer and I ordered fajita mixed and Michelada beer drink. The food was delicious and the drink was good. By the time I received the bill it cost my $62.00. I got ripped off because the Carnitas Dinner $13.50, Fajitas Mixtas $16.50, Modelo beer was $5.00 and the Michelada was $15.00. Total was $62.00. The problem was they didn't put any price out on the board nor inside the menu for Michelada drink. My hubby and I couldn't believe it how much was the drink of the Michelada $15.00. We're not sure if they add a Tips or what but they should put down the receipt is added. It's really messed up and wrong..

My brother loved the carne asada crispy tacos. The rice and beans were good too. I got the al pastor crispy tacos and they were soooooo salty. Like unbearably salty. Al pastor should be a sort of sweet bbq taste and this was nothing like it. Also the quesadilla should have more cheese. read more

This food is just so good. I ordered the menudo ( I only wish they gave a bit more and with Pata) and my husband got the tacos de Birria( he wish it came with consome). The customer service is excellent here. I personally know the owner when he did his taxes with my aunt when I worked there and he and his wife are really really good people. I will continue to go here because they make you feel welcome and the food is good. read more

Ordered the chicken quesadillas they were good and way better than I expected but the first time me and my boyfriend went here the food was not good , he ordered a carne asada burrito and I ordered the enchiladas it has no flavor lol like literally no flavor but we were just hungry and didn't feel like driving somewhere else but the first time was a waste of money , second time was good so maybe it wasn't their specialty read more

Delicious!! Really loved our experience there tonight. My husband and I walked over from our house for some tacos and beers. I cannot tell you how often I've driven by and wondered if it was worth trying. Definitely worth it! We tried several soft tacos: Al Pastor, Shrimp and Grilled Chicken along with crunchy Grilled Chicken taco. We also got an order of guacamole, chips and salsa. The guacamole was super fresh and was seasoned very well! Sorry, no pictures... we were too excited to eat! I can see myself craving this place now! We'll definitely be back. read more

This is my go to Mexican spot near my house. With so many in the area to choose from this is the place i frequent. I love the cripsy tacos or the flatas plate, while my husband and daughter get barritos. The shredded chicken is delish. read more

I see this restaurant on my way home everyday and finally decided to try it out. I ordered a chimichanga and hard tacos which were ready within 10 minutes which was awesome. The food itself was amazing. Hands down the best Mexican food I've ever had. read more

I have never been in an establishment like this before.First I called three times about a pick up order.The person hung up on me two times the third just pick the phone down.Drove up there and literally stood there for 5mins watching the waitress walk past me,open sodas,serve food etc...It wasn't until another customer came in because they messed his order up did the waitress come over,But instead of speaking with me because I was there first she asked the guy that came in after me.He told her to help me she was here first. The waitress was very rude like damn all I want is my food correct.I FELT THERE WAS SOME TYPE OF DISCRIMINATION GOING ON.THEY DON'T HAVE TO EVERY WORRY ABOUT ME OR MY FAMILY SPENDING OUR MONEY THERE AGAIN.IT WAS THE FIRST AND THE VERY LAST TIME EVER.Plus our food was cold&made incorrectly read more

Great little spot with a huge live environment. Never a dull moment. Great server by the name of Doris who is always so friendly and attentive. Food is fresh and always made as you order. They also have a bar if you are a beer drinker. Tv's and jukebox make it more lively when live bands are not there. Friday's and Saturday are the best days for live music. The service and food are excellent. Nice little place to go hide out when you don't want to be found. Nice decor and very clean. Highly recommend this place, not to be confused with the one on Bailey rd. Try the tostadas de ceviche de camaron or sopes. Honestly everything is finger licking good. read more

The food was excellent. but the girl at the register wasn't very attentive. Took her 5 minutes just to grab us a cup of ice for our sodas. She also forgot my guacamole but I was able to remind her before I left the restaurant. I will still eat here. read more

Worst customer service , hung up on me 3 times in my face , got to restaurant to pick up order lady continue to walk pass me as i stand there waiting to just grab my food, it took for a customer to say help this lady she been here for a while and the lady had a very bad attitude and i then asked for the manager name and she stated they cant give out no information to me . If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The food I got tasted horrible. I ordered the Nacho fries and a crispy taco. The nachos tasted so old, and the fries were super brown and I couldn't take a second bite without gagging. The taco barely had any meat and looked as if it had been left out all night. I don't know if it was just a bad day but I'm very upset with the results. read more

I really want this place to stay in business, food is good & the owners are super nice, always friendly. However I'm giving them 3 stars because I feel like I'm not getting my money's worth I usually get fajitas which are about $14, I don't eat much, I get full really fast but I always leave this place hungry, it's always more bell pepper & onions than anything else. If I'm paying $14 just for food with no drink i expect to leave full but instead I have to spend more money on something else I feel as it is almost like an appetizer. Also there's always guys drinking in there and it's uncomfortable as a girl to walk into a place full of drunk guys who are trying to flirt with you while you're just trying to get some food! I know it's not the owners fault but I thought I'd just put it out there! read more

I'm writing this as I'm walking out of the this place me and my family came here for dinner we arrived at 7pm we places our order at 710 pm it is now 8pm our food has not come yet my husband asked the waiter if our food was ready as we see that everyone who placed phone orders is walking out with their food and we are sitting here empty handed the waiter said that they just started working on our food because the cook had to look for the chiken wth!!!! What kind of restaurant takes 40 minutes to look for chicken!! We got so upset we just got up and left this place sucks!! read more

My go to when I'm looking for a cheap bite! If you're into carne asada fries give them a try!super delicious . I got carne asada fries with xtra crema and a large horchata for under 12 dollars . and it tasted amazing! Was enough to fill up me and my brother, it was all super flavorful! I always get those , unless uts Tuesday you cant go wrong wit their dollar tacos. The woman who takes the orders is also very sweet. read more

This venue was the old steakhouse, converted to a Mexican restaurant. Down came the cow, up went Mariachi figurines. Nice clean place and friendly staff. We ordered a steak burrito, 2 tilapia tacos, a side of rice, chips and salsa. After ordering, the thoughtful waitress offered chips and salsa with water while we waited. The food was surprisingly good! We are definitely fans, and hope your experience will be just as satisfying. Happy eating! read more

This restaurant is as good as it gets! Good, old fashioned Mexican Style food. Their steak is flavorful and cooked to perfection. I LOVE Their steak Tacos and Taco Salads. Was in the area on Easter and craving Mexican food, so I checked out yelp and this restaurant got 4 stars so we decided to stop in. The food was excellent! This was a wonderful quick dinner for me and my two kids. My father decided to come down and we entered and were greeted as we sat down at a table. We were served quickly and the atmosphere was light and relaxed as the server helped walk us through some top picks. My son LOVED the street tacos with chicken and steak, I had the veggie burrito and was thoroughly impressed. The horchatas were delicious. The steak burrito my father said was delicious. Prices are low and wonderfully priced considering how authentic the food and atmosphere is. Truly enjoyed it and will definitely be coming back. read more

Stopped by this place for lunch the other week because the place I wanted to go was closed and I'm glad they were! A few things pleased me about this place like how they give you hot bean dip with your chips and salsa and they don't charge you a dollar extra for carne asada or grilled chicken in your enchiladas like other places do! I also ordered horchata which came in a huge Frosted Mug a good bargain for 2.50! A good solid Mexican place with good prices and friendly service I will be back! read more

The parking lot in front is small. There was one open spot so we grabbed it. I think there may be more parking out back but I don't know for sure. No street parking on Monument so if you strike out in the front lot, check in the back. We walked in and it was fairly crowded at 6:20 n a Saturday night. They seated us right away but it was the last open table - and it wasn't a great table, right by the front door and everyone waiting for take out or a table! But we were happy to be seated. They brought chips and 4 bottles of salsa in squeeze bottles. They were all delicious but one was super spicy so be on the lookout for that! They took our order, brought us water and our beers. All were very good. Then the food came! My 2 favorites were: the taco pork belly (pork belly, cilantro, guacamole and red onion) and the norteno taco (Anaheim pepper, cheese, carne asada, cabbage and onion). $7.25 each. These were out of this world good so be sure to order them. My birria burrito $15.75 was huge and delicious. I brought most of it home. We saw some families and couples here. Great table service. Super clean. We were able to see them cook in the open kitchen concept. Can't wait to go back!

We own plates like these and that didn't work. Wife's enchilada plate was covered with three hot and very tasty chicken filled food bombs plus sides. The chili plate looked a little weak (too much plate showing) but that was the tastiest chilli relleno ever in 40 years of me enjoying these. Served hot with cheese filled up to the ying yang, an extra spiciness I have never had before that I loved and me wishing I had a spoon to scrape up the end of the sauce. Unfortunately the smallish rice and bean servings on both plates were luke warm and tasted so so. . I had similar hotter to those with tv dinners back in the day.
