My 70th Birthday at Los Serapes
    Kim H.

Los Serapes in Chalfont is one of my favorite restaurants. My husband & I dine here weekly. Everyone is so warm & friendly. Mauricio, the owner is super friendly & the servers are my favorite people. I had my 70th Birthday Party in August 2025 & my family rented the entire restaurant. It was the most amazing party that I have ever had. My entire family fell in love with the delicious food & the ambiance! Everything was delicious!!!

Very good Mexican food; one of the best in the area. Small place with limited parking. Outdoor seating. Nice atmosphere and service. A good selection of margaritas.

Overall we had a good experience, good food, nice atmosphere , they got us seated right away , but am rating a 3 overall as I was really disappointed with their up charges that seemed a little sneaky. My 8 year old daughter got the kids tacos and asked for lettuce and tomato on the side which the waitress warned us there was an uncharged for pico de gallo , which we assumed it was small so we said no problem. Our fault for not asking . A big plate of lettuce and tomato's game out with a side of pico de gallo . My daughter only needed a small portion of that for her two small tacos. When we got the bill, we were quite surprised to see we were charged $4 for lettuce and $5.50 for pico de gallo. Her two kids tacos ended up being a total of $21.00 ($11.50 + $9 for lettuce and tomatoes) !! Again our fault for not asking but figured it would maybe be an extra dollar for each! And also charged for using a credit card .

We enjoyed our meal at Los Sarapes. We had 6 people and it was great they were able to get us in on a Saturday night without a reservation. Ordered guacamole and queso for the table. The guacamole was good but the queso was very hard to eat. A little too stringy and messy to share for the table. Our table ordered a bunch of different entrees- fajitas, enchiladas (seafood, tapatias), Chile relleno. I had the fajitas and it was pretty average. Everyone liked their meals and portions were decent size. Service was pretty good but prices are high.

Dim lighting, big comfortable leather chairs, bookshelves lining the walls, a fully stocked bar, and historic photos throughout the space create a classic lodge vibe that feels timeless without being stuffy. It is cozy, polished, and incredibly relaxing. The staff is knowledgeable and clearly takes pride in what they serve. The craft cocktails are well made and thoughtful, and if you prefer beer, there are solid options there too. As a bourbon lover, I especially enjoyed their private barrel pick served neat, a real treat and easily a standout pour. This is a perfect pre-dinner or post-evening stop, we have done both, and it works beautifully either way. Dress is slightly casual but leans upscale, and while pricing is a bit higher than average, it feels completely worth it for the setting, quality, and experience. We sank into the chairs, talked story with friends, and lost track of time, which really says it all. If you are anywhere near Skytop Lodge, make sure this is on your list. Plan extra time, you will want to linger.

I called to make a reservation for a large party, which wound up dwindling to a small one, and Josh was great helping me with this. When I had to leave a voicemail he made sure to get a hold of me to confirm my reservation. When we arrived, we were impressed by the decor and seating options. Since our party was now small and we arrived in early afternoon, we were able to choose between a high top and comfy chairs. We opted for the big chairs, and had our own small table with mixed nuts, fresh water, and a candle. The service was great, attending but not overbearing. We never felt rushed, and very much enjoyed the Savory Riff and Espresso Martini. We were offered a taste of whiskey, gin, or vodka. After tasting the whiskey I enjoyed how smooth and flavorful it was, and knew I had to get a whiskey cocktail. The drinks were fairly priced, and the establishment was kept extremely clean and organized. Can't wait to come back!

I've had Spanish brews before, but they actually had in stock six to 10 different Spanish Brews and some Brazilian beer. (Makes sense since a Brazilian Steakhouse is connected to the building) The prices were fair and they even had some exclusive Iron Abbey collab beers with local breweries. It's out of the way for me bottle shop wise, but if I do stop by the area I'll of course check out their stock. I found a couple of nice hard to find Imperial Stout's that now have a nice home. We usually sit at the bar, and the bartenders are always friendly, attentive, and make you feel welcome. The happy hour food and drink specials are a fantastic value. It's easy to enjoy a great evening out for under $50, which is becoming harder to find these days. The crowd is usually friendly too, making it a fun place to relax and socialize. As for the food, I honestly can't remember having a bad meal here. Everything we've ordered has been flavorful, satisfying, and generously portioned. Unlike many restaurants today, you don't leave feeling like you paid inflated prices for tiny portions. We ordered the eggroll sampler and fried pickles as an app. The eggrolls were tasteless, and the fried pickles were so greasy we couldn't eat them.
