    Scallops with spinach

Food quality and taste were excellent. The ambience is quaint although on the small side. The service was very good. The price can be expensive when adding in any bar drinks or glasses of wine. Excluding alcohol, the food price is comparable to a high end restaurant. I knew this going in and wasn't sure what to expect with food taste and quality. Both were excellent and price worthy. It could be $10 dollars or so cheaper but I would definitely go again. We ate the scallops for one dinner and the filet mignon for second dinner. Apps was crab salad and homemade focaccia bread. The crab salad was good but is served cold. For me I like hot crab cakes. It makes sense to serve their crab cold bc it is a salad. The focaccia bread was great. 4 big pieces for 2 people to share or for 4 people to each have one.

Wonderful service in a farmhouse classy settling. The appetizer portions are large enough to share. The grilled cheese was rich and paired well with the tomato soup. Try the dates, they were wonderful. I had the special surf and turf and usually lobster is overcooked--absolutely not here. It was buttery and tender and paired with a nice sized filet. And try to leave room for dessert. There's a 4 layer carrot cake you have to try. The only thing I will say is that because of the size of the restaurant and the type of building, it is loud. However, the food, the crafty cocktails and great service you don't see much of anymore is well worth it.

The wine bar reopened in June with a full liquor license. Full line of beers and a considerable wine selection. Quite an extensive new menu. The steaks and short rib entrees were top notch. I will be back.

Love the atmosphere, decor and awesome drinks! Personally bought a bottle for the peach wine. They have wine, cocktails, local beers on draft and appetizers. Check out the local secret hot spot, you won't be disappointed!!

    Delicious cocktails!

So tonight with all the crazy weather we decided to get together and after my reviews of John…read moreRobert Cellars, we decided to go there tonight. We were a party of 8 and they were so nice to setup a table where we could all sit together even though it looked like they were full. None of our friends have ever been here so I let them decide what they wanted to order. We had many different tastes of wines to start from a Chardonnay, a pinot Grigio to a Shira. Everyone could not say enough of how good the wines tasted. The tables ordered charcuterie boards, a hot honey, pepperoni flatbread, margarita flatbread, pistachio pesto flatbread, two different types of french fries and a meatball martini. The group raved about the flavors of the different flatbreads. The pistachio flatbread was a great hit. No one would ever think of a flatbread with pistachios. Josh and Nick the bartender took care of us really great. We never had a wait for anything..

The pros: The menu includes several gluten-free options and plenty of shareable dishes, making it…read moreeasy to mix and match. Prices are fair, especially given the location and overall quality. The wine list offers a solid selection of both red and white wines, available by the glass or bottle, and they also serve wine flights--three 2.5 oz pours, if I remember correctly. The cons: The menu isn't posted online (see my photos for sample menus), so you'll need to be comfortable going in without previewing your options. It's also not marked for gluten-free items, so plan on asking your server for guidance. Most of the wines feature grapes sourced from California, with a few selections from South Africa and at least one Malbec from Chile. Aside from some Oakville Cab Sauvs, I'm not a big fan of California wines--so if you are, you'll likely feel right at home here.
