What an amazing place Las Brisas was for our stay in Santa Fe. We were there for a week, and felt so at home returning to our two-bedroom condo every night after exploring Santa Fe and the surrounding area. We arrived just after closing time, but the woman at the reception desk was more than happy to check us in, explain the features of the condos and property, as well as talk about the surrounding area. She never once rushed us. It was a very welcoming start to our weeklong vacation. We entered the condo for the first time and our jaws dropped. There was an indoor atrium with a large window ceiling, allowing a lot of natural light in. The living room, dining room, and kitchen were very spacious, too. There was plenty of seating for a large crowd. The upstairs loft/master bedroom (with French doors) was A M A Z I N G. It featured a king-sized bed, dresser, nightstands, a desk, TV, closet, and fireplace and yet it still remained very spacious! It was a huge room. From there, you entered through another set of French doors to a very large bathroom that featured a raised bathtub/shower/jacuzzi (with steps leading up) and even a closet that concealed the stacked washer and dryer. Needless to say, we fell in love with our unit; it was so spacious, beautifully maintained and decorated, and provided the perfect home-away-from-home. We also loved its location, being so close to downtown. We could just walk a few blocks and were right in the middle of downtown Santa Fe where shops and restaurants awaited us around the Plaza. Not only was it convenient, but it saved us money on the somewhat costly parking at metered or parking garage spaces. I'd recommend Las Brisas to anyone visiting Santa Fe.

Home away from home with a wonderful location, charm of Santa Fe, plentiful parking and walking distance to the Plaza and all its amazing charm!

We rented a suite for Christmas Day and the following night. Even on Christmas, the staff was great! We added an extra guest last minute and they had a wrist band and a robe to us immediately. A rollaway bed with extra towels, blankets and pillows were brought to our Room in 15 minutes. Private soaking tubs are excellent and the gift spa/gift shop has quality local items. If you want to get away to replenish and rejuvenate yourself, this should be your next place to visit. Unfortunately the steam room was out of order and I was looking forward to that. The soaking pools were also very busy this time but I can understand everyone wanting to be here. Overall it's an amazing hidden gem!

Nice comfortable hammocks. Cons: Expensive and felt "nickled and dimed". $65 for group soaks. Spent $50 on lunch, and they require people to rent the robes for an additional $20. They also run out of lockers sometimes, so in that case, you've got to put your valuables in your car (parking is also not great/limited). I asked that my robe rental be comped because we had to store our stuff in our hot cars, and the assistant manager wouldn't budge. We also waited quite a while to be seated in the restaurant and a number of other groups were waiting as well -- even one that had reservations. Advice to management: If you run out of lockers, reduce the price of something or give a customer more. As an example, forsake the $20 robe rental fee if you are not delivering the full experience and are putting the customer out (this is not Motel 6). Make sure the restaurant is properly staffed - even in between lunch and dinner rushes. Advice to customers: Bring your own robe! Expect to drop at least $150 there, if you eat anything. Call ahead to see how busy they are -- probably best to go in the middle of the week (not Friday or the weekend). I was there on Friday at 12:15P and it was packed. No chairs were available by the pools.

I did not read the reviews before we booked an overnight stay as I quickly booked on Expedia. There is no self parking, Valet is required but included. The man at the front desk was pleasant and friendly. He handed us a map of the property so we could find our room. The pathways wind around and can be a little confusing so the map is helpful. There are several exterior 2 level room buildings on the property. No elevators so if you need help with luggage, the Valets can assist. But ask for a ground level room if stairs are difficult for you to climb. This hotel is charming Santa Fe Adobe style. It is not modern or sterile so if you are looking for that, this is not your place. The grounds and walking paths are beautiful with gardens and a large fountain. There is a restaurant and bar on the property. Several sitting rooms, art adorned walls, library room, and a beautiful courtyard to enjoy meals. The room was clean with a coffee bar, wardrobe closet, fireplace, desk, lounge chair, large bathroom with white linens and all the amenities you would expect at a Marriott property. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Looked like new curtains to me. The carpet could be replaced as it was older and outdated. The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the square and there is an art gallery across the street. Overall, I liked the hotel and staff. It could use a few upgrades but it was clean, charming and conveniently located to where you want to be to enjoy the square.

From the (completely) valet guys, the front desk, and the bartenders, they have you covered. Friendly and courteous. Not hovering but ready to help. My King Suite with Fireplace was a little dated and had poor water pressure with some cabinet doors not exactly performing as expects but it was large with plenty of room for two except for the tiny closet. You may need a rolling hanging rod to accommodate jackets and more. The bath room offered a tub and shower with a double vanity. Not large but perfectly adequate. A little desk area came in handy and of course the wood burning fireplace. An absolute must when I visit Santa Fe. Need help lighting it? No problem. That amazing staff I mentioned, they will take care of it for you. All and All a 5 star experience with beautiful grounds right where you want to be.

The bar itself is super cute with a cozy, inviting seating area that makes you want to linger a little longer than planned. The decor leans warm and stylish without trying too hard--perfect for slipping in, grabbing a cocktail, and giving your feet a much-needed break from walking around town. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Service leaned a little on the slower side, but the warmth and attentiveness more than made up for it. It felt relaxed, not rushed--very much in tune with the whole Santa Fe vibe. Also, a random but deserved shoutout: the downstairs bathrooms are exceptional. Clean, spacious, and surprisingly elevated for a bar stop. Great spot for cocktails, light bites, and a breather in between exploring. Honestly, it left such a good impression that I'd absolutely consider staying at the hotel next time. If you're in the area and need a cozy reset, this place is 100% worth the stop.

The main reason for my 5 stars is the details: in the check in desk (which has a beautiful flower arrangement with local flowers) we were welcomed with a warm apple cider (which I went back for seconds a couple of times during our stay ). The room keys were small & square made out of a wooden like material. Every where you look there are flowers, local art or carvings around door frames. We had breakfast twice in their restaurant and it was delicious. Cindy was our server both times and she was great!!! The staff is super friendly and gave us great suggestions of places to go. And our room was cozy and very comfortable! And the location is perfect! Walking distance to restaurants, shops, and sightseeing! I will post the pics I took, which will hopefully give you a small taste of my experience here.

The bed sits just inches from the toilet door, so unless you're unusually close with your travel companion, pack earplugs and a blindfold. Dust was caked into the corners, a dead bug was in the ripple of the vintage rug, and we were greeted by a dried booger on the bathroom door (seriously). The door frame lets light in, the floors creaked like a haunted house, and the entire layout felt like it was designed by someone who's never actually had to sleep there. There were no privacy blinds, only wooden shutters, and the artwork provided enough clutter to fill the room just in case you forgot your own luggage. Breakfast was the big show! Most of what we were served was delicious. For an extra $45 per person, you'll be given whatever the kitchen feels like making that morning... no choices, no allergy considerations, and not even a glass of water. Instead, you're handed an herbal infusion and expected to sip with gratitude while waiting 90 minutes for your dessert tart. But our group's disappointment simply must have meant we didn't understand the "magic" of the experience. In the end, Casa Culinaria is the kind of place that confuses ambiance with hospitality and is more interested in curating an image than creating a welcoming stay. If you're searching in Santa Fe for a splintering rocking chair, garden corners appropriate for Instagram, or even paying $340/night to be treated like an inconvenience... this is the winner! Anyone interested in actual hospitality should keep searching.
