The service was very welcoming and friendly. When you come in you are able to seat yourself. This is a family owned business and they take pride in the food they serve and their hospitality. You are greeted with traditional Hispanic music playing in the background. It's small, so large groups may have to spread out and sit at different booths or tables, you can also get your food to go. They offer catering for your big event. The food is prepared fresh but the wait is not long. I rated it four stars out of five because most taco plates come with three tacos instead of two. We started off with the chips and salsa it was also made fresh. We had the taco plates and ended with sliced mango. I will be back again, it was fresh and flavorful.

The food was soooo good, the only reason it gets less than five stars is because the portions are pretty small for what you'd expect. I eat a lot and I could've eaten probably another plate. But really great flavor, makes me want to try more of the menu! Inside isn't too big but ambience is nice and service was good too.

Listen. This place hooked me in with a photo shared by the county in which I felt like the obvious freshness and deliciousness were SO APPARENT that I decided my entire family was going to Los Tios for my birthday the very next night. A gamble, for sure. But I won it. And I won it good. Handmade tortillas made minutes before I ate them. Insane sides (get the nopales, which I again gambled on just because I thought the name would be fun to say, and again I won). The meats? Good lord. We had the fried plantains as an appetizer, which was actual perfection. Our entrees were carne asada in platter and taco form, al pastor tacos, and the shrimp tacos at the bottom of the menu that I forgot the proper name for. It was all so daggone good. None of the weird Mexican food grease that usually coats things. Just flavors and happiness. Yelp wants me to talk about the ambiance, and honestly it's the only shortcoming of the whole experience, being located right beside a laundromat and all, but if you look real closely it doesn't matter because the food makes you forget about everything else.

This family owned local business has great customer service. The waitress was very nice. The carne asada and lengua tacos were delicious. The corn tortillas didn't fall apart or get soggy. I finally found an authentic taco shop comparable to those in SoCal. I will definitely be coming back to try other fillings. Do not let the surrounding area dissuade you from dining here.

This place is a gem! The menu is gluten free but if you're not don't let that stop you! The food was fresh and delicious and the server was warm and attentive. The owner came out to chat and was so pleasant. 10/10 recommend. We drove 38 minutes to get there from Richmond and we'll be back for sure. If you are passing through on I95, it's 13 minutes off the highway

Leaving church and saw this little gem so of course I had to check it out!!! I just ordered a little tasting 2 tacos and some plantains. I'm not a big fan of corn tortillas but these were not bad considering all of the flavors were coming from the inside!!! The carna Asada was tender and the lettuce was fresh! The chicken Chipotle was filled with shredded chicken. Next time I will get that one gringo style also. Those plantains were hot and delicious!!!! I have to ration those so I can savor the flavor!! We took our order to go but they do have a small seating section for dine in. I must come back to try their meals!!!

It actually hurts me to give this place this rating. When it opened it was the best, I'd always see…read moremy friends there when I went to eat, was remembered and invited when coming into eat. Someone new has taken over and has ruined it. Prices are crazy high anymore. This past weekend I called in an order for 18 tacos as a platter style thing for a birthday party, rice, cheese, sour cream, pico, like a whole chipotle bar. The idea was perfect. My brother was going to have a party with a few friends and I was going to get to feed everyone. I go to the restaurant, she hands me my bags, and I go to my brothers. Open the pack, and had a total of six tacos worth of food in all of this packaging. I called and the manager said she would deliver personally and she did. I appreciated the effort but it was an hour after we started eating the first part of the food and cake and basically I wound up taking a ton of food home to just trash because everyone was full from cake. They didn't even bring anything as an apology. Mentioned the birthday and couldn't even bring a piece of cake. It always stinks in here anyways and feels like i am inside of a yield sign, not coming back.

I was going to give this place a 4 star rating but the women there are very friendly and beautiful. La chica de rojo, Muy Bonita. I'm talking movie level hot. Well, the food was great. I ordered a chicken tamale and a chicken torta with fries. It was very delicious. Juicy and plump, I always eat it if it's juicy. The chips and salsa were nice too. The horchata and Jamaica are insanely good. So much flavor. If you are in Virginia, give this joint a try.
