6/12 had large guac, crispy taco,, a taco asada from alacarte, large marg, ice tea and a mexican dinner plate. everything was tasty, service great. our server (mattie or perhaps maddie) was very nice. bill was $50 so not cheap. but on other hand it was worth the money. i used to hit restaurants pre or post busy peak times. but these days i go peak hours. probably takes us 10 minutes longer to get the food but it is so much fresher. todays review is for tres on west side of town. it is always better than the east side restaurant imo. . and for both the east and west restaurants, we find the food noticeably better at peak hrs. so my suggestion is go 6 to 630 pm for best food, and even when really busy the service remains top notch altho sometimes necessary to flag for tea refill read more

The 30th Field Artillery Association hosted a luncheon with the 1/30 Battalion at this restaurant. Our Association held our reunion this year at Fort Sill. Been going to Los Tres for years. This was my worst experience ever. Took longer than usual to bring out the chips and dip. Had to ask a couple of times for salsa. Salsa was not as good as the one on the west side. When I asked for more cheese waitress picked up the cheese on my friend's side and slams it on my side. Even my friend felt that was disrespectful. Then she comes back and said she found another one. Asked for a medium steak. Came back well done. She sent it back and came back with another one that was no different. Steak was tough with no seasoning. Did not like the enchiladas. Paid for the meal. I said thank you and was ignored. Horrible. Never going back to that one. To drive ten more minutes down the street is 100% worth better service, better atmosphere and waaaaaay better food. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. read more

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and it seemed like the lunch crowed had gone already because they weren't busy at all. We were seated and the waitress brought our drinks and chips fairly fast. After this, she pretty much disappeared. We actually had to flag her down to tell her that we were ready to order. The food wasn't very hot when It got to our table. I've eaten at both in town. They've gotten expensive but their food is still good. They have three different types of salsa. the chips are thick, not thin. You can ask for tortillas for a charge It's not bad The menu is large. I've eaten the two enchiladas. Both are well filled. I've had both the ground beef and cheese. Taste good. Good refried beans. One meal I like to do is an appetizer as my meal. Something del rio. It's shrimp in cheese grilled up, served with tortillas. I add a side of guacamole or pico and have a full meal. Their Mexican quesadilla is outstanding. Large and filled. I usually get chicken and spinach. Perfect. Their best meal if you like fish, is their camaron some such. Look on the menu for the name. The best breaded fried fish I've had. Very lightly breaded with half a dozen shrimp or so. Sliced tomatoes and avocado in wedges on top of lettuce. They've priced it too expensive for my blood. I don't order it anymore but I do love it. My daughter always asks for a bean burrito with queso on top. It's not on the menu but they never have a problem and make it right up for her. I will say I love the poblano pepper, but I don't care for the breading. I pull it off. And one night I pulled it off and there were two or three black marks--very old pepper that was going bad. They tried to convince me it was okay and not a problem but I didn't accept that. They gave me a refund. I was sad that they tried to argue that with me. Other than that I've never had a problem with the staff. They are nice people. Would be big enough if you wanted to have a group of people. Of course so is Salas and Ted's Nice home cooking. We usually always come here. We usually love everything. Huge portions and affordable and fast service. Free dessert to! Today we ordered takeout and we ordered fried avocado they cut it in half and still sent it out like this blows my mind. Muy Bien! Okay, that's all the Spanish I will attempt on this review. Wow - I was not expecting Los Tres Amigos to knock my socks off. I know, I know..."it's not real Mexican". Well, hello we are in Lawton, not Tijuana. This is as good as it gets! The chips were perfectly greasy, warm and served with queso and salsa. Our order was served quickly and the service exceptional. Our drinks (a daiquiri and a pina colada) were phenomenal. I could drink quite a few of those daiquiris. The decor was fun, detailed and unique. Take a look at my pic of the bird w/ a Corona! Every time I come here the service and food get worse. Ordered the Grande Burrito and the chicken was cold old previously prepared chicken. Service was slow. Based on a recommendation from the hotel , I decided to give this place a try Being new to Lawton, I was unsure where to go. I'm very glad I found this place as the food seemed very authentic and bountiful. Starting off the chips with the three different sauces was great. The chips were very light and not oily and all the salsas had a unique flavor profiles. I decided to get the Lawton dinner. Too well proportioned enchiladas rice beans and a taco to go all under $10 wow. Everything tasted great and I'm really happy with this place I would highly recommend it read more

Woefully lacking authentic flavor. Los Tres Amigos unfortunately missed the mark in my book. With refried beans tasting dirty and an enchilada sauce resembling the taste of sloppy joes, it's clear to see why I've given a two star rating. Too add, the beef fajitas were incredibly tough and very under-seasoned, same with their Chile Rellenos- very underwhelming. However, I will say their tortillas, which you can see being freshly made were absolutely fantastic! I could eat an entire plate of them. Our family felt in the mood for Mexican while we were in Lawton for my son's BCT graduation at Fort Sill. This restaurant was very convenient just down the road from our Best Western Hotel. The single chicken fajitas portion was large enough for two people and very delicious. We love the large chunks of white simmering chicken that came with all of the vegetables.
