They actually asked me how soon I needed them for pick up, which was super courteous. The customer service here is definitely 5-star level. The store is a little small but had a lot of fabric and altered dresses on display. I told her what I needed so she offered me to change so she can see the dress. There is a small curtain dressing room in the corner of the store. After looking at the dress she kindly said it wasn't possible which I figured. But I had a pair of pants I needed to trim and I tried on that. There was a long mirror and she measured the trim height with a clip and asked if it was good height. She quoted me $12 on the hem. I entered all my information on the iPad and got an email confirmation. Three days later, I came back to pick up and she gave it to me. Now my pants are not too long and a good height. The trim looks nice too because I don't see any cuts or string. I say her prices are reasonable.

She confirmed that attire was semi-formal with an option to wear African attire. Since it is a Ghanaian wedding, we thought that it would be appropriate to wear African clothing. Thankfully, we were able to locate a little boutique 20 minutes away from our home. When we arrived we rang the bell on the outside of the door and Jay (the owner) welcomed us into his shop. Honestly, this shop has African attire in any color that you can imagine! It was a bit overwhelming perusing through the many options. When my wife was having trouble locating a dress that would fit properly, Jay led her to a back room that had an overflow of dresses. This is where she would find a beautiful jumpsuit that perfectly accentuated her body (yes that's how strongly I felt about it). Noticing that I was struggling to find a top that would fit over my chest and biceps (the material is very stiff), Jay began combing through the many racks of clothing and pulling out options that might work. After 30 minutes of trying on tops and dang near having to pry them off of my body, we found a winner! By the grace of God we walked out of African Attire on a successful note! For my top + my wife's jumpsuit, the damage was only $75 (I anticipated paying double that). Jay informed us that in the future we should have our measurements done, provide him with the measurements, and he can assist us with ordering custom-fitted clothing.
