I went to this spot with youngen, my youngest son, the last of the tribe. And it was just ok, there wasn't a whole lot of finds in there. I wouldn't go there often. Because it's seem like a hit and miss. It's not bad and it's not great!!! It's just ok.

I went here on 6/28/25. It has a lot of shoes and sizes that aren't seen in any other locations such as the Vacaville store. I bought Tatum 1's and Nike GT Cut Academy's from here for under $100.

Love that this location is in the Howe 'Bout Arden shopping plaza. It's a great addition to the other restaurants, shops and movie theater. It is a little tucked away and we ended up walking around a bit before coming to the actual entrance. They have a wide selection of items in different styles, colors and sizes but depending on what size you wear you may not find each item in your size. It's kind of a treasure hunt. When we went in it wasn't too crowded and we were able to browse for a while. Everything is pretty well organized and I'm sure if you're a regular customer you can find different items and gems each visit. There were a lot of younger people in here and you could tell that sneaker collectors were browsing too. We're just casual Nike wearers so I can't tell you if anything crazy special was here, but it's worth a look.

Yay, We have a Nike Clearance Store in Arden/Sacramento! It's pretty busy because I think it opened about a week ago. We had to wait in line to get in but it move quickly and took about 5-10 minutes. Not a huge selection of clothes for women. Bigger selection of clothes of Men. Small section of kids clothes. Lots of sneakers and recent styles. I found a pair of Air Max 270 for $80, currently selling on Nike website for $160. That's not a bad deal. It was worth the trip. Located below Paul Mitchell School, near Pinkberry. It's a busy parking lot.

JUST DO IT! And after years and years of waiting and speculation, a "Nike Clearance Store" finally arrived in the city of Sacramento. I am a huge fan of their product line and have been for several decades. Ever since buying my first pair of Nike cross trainers from the late-80's up to the present day, their level of comfort, style, and longevity have withstood the test of time. This is much needed because for those of us that live here, we always had to drive 17 miles east to the Folsom Outlets or 40 miles west to the Vacaville Outlets. This location is conveniently located at the Howe 'Bout Arden shopping center at the corner of Howe Ave and Arden Way. The store is directly next door to MOD Pizza and directly below the Paul Mitchell School. I think this is an ideal location due to the parking not being much of an issue. And this was a smart move on their part since nearby Arden Fair Mall is already a zoo with the shopping and dining as well as the neighboring shopping center that houses the movie theater, Burlington, Nordstrom Rack, and other retail establishments/restaurants. I came here during the morning of Monday 5/29/2023 at around 11:45am, only 5 days after their grand opening (which was on 5/24/2023). Much to my surprise, there was no line to get in nor was it even that busy in the store itself. My guess is that since it was Memorial Day, many people already had plans (since it was a gorgeous day in Sacramento). As I mentioned, parking wasn't too bad at all as I walked right in and was greeted by two security guards. As far as the layout itself, everything was fairly easy to find with the registers to the left of the entrance complete with the men's section. The right side is where the women's section was while kids was in the middle. Here, you will find a ton of racks and end caps that display socks, headbands, backpacks, water bottles, and other various accessories. And the most important part of the Nike Clearance Center is their shoe lineup with takes up the entire rear area of the store itself. As far as my purchases, I treated myself to a lightweight hoodie, 2 tees, 2 pairs of gym shorts, and a 6-pack of ankle socks. I was debating on some shoes but I have so many running/basketball shoes that are in new/near-new condition so I decided to hold off on that. But from what I saw, there were some very good deals available in all sizes. And many popular choices such as Air Max shoes for as low as $79.99 in men's. All in all, this is a great fit for Sacramento and I know with the popularity it gets from all walks of life, this "Nike Clearance Store" will do tremendously well. My rating, an above average four stars.

Not as big a selection for youth so if you are shopping for kids take the drive to Folsom. Otherwise for adults selection is not to shabby.

I totally love how there's this store now in the Arden area versus having to always head to the Folsom Outlets.

They're just inspiring and incredible at what they do. They conduct an impressive foot scan and gait evaluation if you're new or just want an assessment. They fit you to the best shoes for your needs and feet. Recently, I was in a hurry, and just went with my usual size (so I thought). A few days after wearing the shoes they were definitely too small (I forgot I'm a wide). I happened to read that they'd accept shoes within about a month. Mine was actually about 6 weeks, but I'd barely worn them. I called and the person on the phone was awesome. They welcomed me back, no questions asked. In person, the friendliness was the same. I put my name on the list (there's always a bit of a wait for a shoe expert) then left for a coffee. They texted me when I was up soon and was greeted by Marney who was a pro. She went through an abundance of shoes to find the right style, color, and fit. I'm so grateful for this store. I ended up getting a pair of trail shoes for the first time so I can expand my running to more rugged terrain. Besides shoes, they have some really nice, high-quality clothing and gear.

This is a store that caters to runners and their athletic shoe needs... not the usual place I would…read morebe seen shopping, but my sibkid needed some good fitting, supportive, ergonomic shoes for their cosmetology program so this was a recommended store to check out. The store is located in a relatively small storefront on J St., but the interior is spacious and with soaring ceilings, so soaring in fact that I did have to put in some earplugs at one point because there were so many people talking at pretty high decibels. It was like being a restaurant. We went on the MLK weekend and the store was packed with shoppers, many of whom seemed to be repeat customers. The focus of the store is getting the proper fit for the activity, and then aligning that with a particular style and brand/model of shoe that would theoretically work best. They are focused on selective and particular brands, such as Brooks and Hoka. The shoes are pricey (average price $200 for the Hokas) and they weren't advertising any sales, nor clearly pricing the shoes. In fact, the shoe browsing that you experience in a typical store- looking at and picking up shoes doesn't see to be encouraged here. Instead you're greeted by an associate immediately upon entering who is your "guide." They can help you with testing for sizing and gait, and they bring shoes for you to try, while helping you try on the shoes. It's definitely a full service shoe store. The foot testing on a walking/gait testing pad and a low platform was done for my sibkid by Alyzza, whom proved to be a knowledgeable, helpful, and pleasant shoe saleswoman. The results led to several shoe models and the resultant try-ons. A few extra were added as Alyzza tried to determine the best fit for her customer. Two different arch supports were tried and one pair was the winner ($60). Ultimately one pair was selected as the winner (Hoka/Bondi model in wide). The color desired (black) was not available in this store. We found out that if the shoe was available from the Elk Grove location it could be ready for pick up on J St in a couple days, but the ownership/reciprocity of the other two regional stores (Folsom and Roseville) was different, such that we had to physically pick them up ourselves. She double checked that the shoes were available in Roseville with a phone call, and said they'd be held for my sibkid for three days. There was also an online ordering option which could take upwards of two weeks. We ended up making the drive to Roseville where the transaction was handled efficiently. It was irritating to have to drive ten miles out of the way because the stores don't share ownership nor do reciprocal regional deliveries. It would have been a much worse drive on a normal M-F, so we lucked out. Alyzza definitely made this whole process positive and is a huge asset to the store. Pros: Foot testing, hands on fitting, big selection. Helpful staff if you luck out and get a great associate. Great return policy (30 days, worn outside ok). Cons: Limited brands, no sales, little customer self- selection, potential perceived time pressure to test shoes (I would hate this but my sibkid was fine with it), sizing availability and possible need to travel to pick up shoes. Street parking in Midtown.

This would have been a good opportunity to get rid of last year's products and to make way for this years gear. People love deals and this would have really gotten then into the store. Instead there was no line to get into the store and it was nearly empty. Everyone was at the park for autographs and all the free stuff that was being offered by the Giants. I do love going to the On Deck Shop. There is always so much great stuff in the store, if only they were more reasonably priced. I love the sparkly tops. I do have a few jerseys that I wear proudly. I have a Willie Mays Jersey and a couple of other Jerseys. I'm most proud of the Willie Mays Jersey. It's a classic with the off white coloring. You can see it in my picture, other they you can't tell who's jersey it is as I'm facing forward. I would love to get another one of one of the current players, but they are way too expensive. I also realized that they are hot to wear in the summer. When it get into the 100's you don't want a jersey on as the material is too think. You'd be better of wearing one of the tank tops or t-shirts they well in the On Deck Shop. I wore a jersey today with a black long sleeve top under it as it was a chilly day. As it turns out it was a perfect spring day. A high of 61, perfect jersey weather, not to hot and not too cold. Maybe next year the weather will be just as good and I'll be able to wear my Jersey without the black long sleeve top under it.
