Watched a playoff game at Lost Boy on Sunday afternoon. Stuck with Guinness for beer and snacked on a German Pretzel. Quality Lost Boy was not what I expected. I thought it was going to be more of a stylish cocktail bar, but it is closer to an old school pub. And while the decor and drink menu may suggest otherwise, this is a place you drink English beer and yell at the television. The beers are cold and they have some snacks to go along with them. I got a German Pretzel, which was a nice item to pair with a rich beer. Quantity Perfect pours for every beer. They don't have a lot of options, sticking mostly to pub standards, but this is not the place to complain. Value Beers all run you $9, while snacks range from around $5 to $12. A little high, but nothing crazy. Ambiance Lost Boy is part of the burgeoning bar scene in Downtown Miami. It is a bar that definitely draws inspiration from both English pubs and western saloons. When you enter the first thing you notice is the high ceilings. I assume the space used to belong to a hotel, with a large lobby and second floor balcony. To the left is a brick wall, with the remnants of a fireplace. Portraits of presidents, animal skulls, and assorted tools decorate the wall. In front of the wall are assorted leather chairs and couches. The opposite wall has the large wooden bar. A row of boots sit at the top, with a row of televisions directly underneath. In the back corner of the bar they have darts as well as a piano. A giant American flag, jungle wallpaper, and a shelf of boardgames complete this mash-up of themes. For the playoff game, they had all the televisions in the place on one channel as well as a giant screen pulled down. They also had the audio for the game playing in the background. Crowd When we arrived for the start of the game it was a relatively quiet crowd. However, by halftime the placed had filled up nicely with lots of passionate fans. Considering neither team playing was local, the amount of yelling and cheering was impressive. This is a great place to watch a football game and I believe it is also a soccer hotspot. Service The bartenders are awesome. I don't think anything could epitomize the style more than when one of our friends asked for a coffee and the response given was "you know this is a bar." Friendly with everyone and constantly in motion, the staff seems to have as good a time as the patrons. Parking I always try to avoid driving when I visit Downtown Miami. There are limited street spots and garages in the area, but I think a car service is the better option. Extra Lost Boy gets things right that so many Miami bars don't. A fun sports-crowd, solid but simple drinks, and an incredible space. Come for a game and you are likely to stick around after. read more

Thank you Yelp for helping me find the only bar that is so good it demands I drive across town during rush hour traffic just to make their happy hour! With their delicious and varietal cocktail menu, there's something for everyone's tastes and guess what? It's all half off. Yes, wine, beer & signature cocktails included. I tried the mezcal cocktail and the Yuzu highball ( a staff rec) and both exceeded my expectations; they were not too sweet but very balanced and thoughtfully concocted. To munch, I split the turkey chili and cheese board with my friend, who is as equally heart eyes for our new find. The turkey chili comes in a bread bowl and is very hearty for a mere $9. Even better was the $12 cheese board. These bites, to my understanding, were not on happy hour but in fact the prices truly made me happiest. We consumed a lot and had a merry old time without breaking the bank, which is key to any after work enjoyment. I would highly recommend to anyone that they go, really, at any time of the day. It's ambiance is the selling point for me. Not only does the kitchen and bar have it together but the decor transports you to a hip bar up north-- cozy and nestled into a boisterous yet intimate space offering bar games as well as tables for those looking for more privacy. The energy at Lost Boy is incomparable to anything I've come across in Miami and for that I am very thankful to have found it! read more

Pretty cool bar, it is Downtown, UBER don't drive. Parking isn't easy. Its not a "Cheap" place to drink even though at first look it has the divey appeal.. I say appeal because I like that. But once you get in there, you can tell by the specifically placed art that they put some thought into this place. I started to get a prohibition era feeling in there. The music was a bit old school top hits which was cool. I saw a dart board, old chairs, couches, men with beards, cool and eclectic taste splattered everywhere. ... me likey. I came to this place a few times since I travel a lot for work. Service is okay, there is a couple of bartenders that are quick and professional and 2 others (including a young guy with beard and long hair) that are purposely slow and unprofessional. I believe the attitude they have with costumers and the fact that they piss you off make them feel somehow cool. The pool table is impossible to use. The same 3 people use it all the time every night and the only way for me to play is to put my name down as next and make sure they you check every 5 minutes that they don't purposely skip you. Hoping that they do not get upset and start a fight as I witnessed a couple times the past week If you want to play pool with a group of friends, forget about it. The bartenders do not interfere with the "pool people" rules. I warmly suggest to regulate the pool table use and put a time limit for each player that wants to use the table. Until then I do not recommend this bar and I invite people to be careful and ready to not play pool and very likely receive a slow and bad service. 1 star read more

Cool unique spot. Stopped in for happy hour on a Friday around 6:30. The place was packed but we managed to find a table. They had great happy hour specials, half price off drink menu and wells until 8. It's very loud in there so having a conversation is tough. I'd go back. read more

Good happy hour, place can get a bit tight but within 5 mins you'll get your drink. Good bartenders, never had an issue here. Good specials until 8 pm M-F. They're open pretty late during the week. I've been here twice, and I love it even more! Great happy hour specials every day....half off everything on the menu. The place gets really crowded by 7pm then it dies down just a little....but very loud. Service is good, the drinks are great, and the dartboards are great. This is my new go to place. Located in Downtown downtown of Miami rustic feel bar for a place to hang out with amigos. The place doesn't serve food and Drinks are normal Miami Prices. Wine bottles are decent priced for bang for you buck. Music playing but not a dance scene at this lounge. There's a nice free pool table in front next to an old school tv giving that rustic feel and a big screen tv if one wants to watch a match there. There are dart boards in the back as well. read more

The ambiance fits its name, lost people who arrive at a bar. The Americana theme is even greater, there's pictures of presidents, there's a shelf filled with cowboy boots (maybe they're dead) and a typewriter in the corner of the bar. The entire bar takes me back to the past, the time when america was starting to revolutionize. I did try rolling rock their pale beer but honestly that tastes like pure peanuts and peanuts is dirt freaking cheap so I'm very glad I didn't purchase the beer but I honestly couldn't down the entire can for the sake of it tasting like peanuts knowing it costed probably pennies to make. Oh my goodness was this place a find. Walking around waiting for our friends to arrive so we could board our cruise ship. Manager was super friendly, as was the bar staff. Bartenders are very knowledgeable and friendly. Food was great as well! My friends and I got the Sloppy Jose, phenomenal portion with yummy chips. What can I say, this place is amazing!!!! We recently moved to the area and are in walking distance, literally a couple short blocks away. This place offers a great, friendly atmosphere with extremely knowledgeable staff. Nice selection of liquor, as well as a few craft beers, the kitchen seems to be opened late and they have a nice section of food. Once again the Yelp reviews did not lead me astray. My wife and I are looking for a fun bar to go watch the Dallas/St Louis hockey game and this place was getting mad reviews. The thing that caught my attention was all the hype about how great the bartenders were and they did not disappoint. By far my favorite bar in all of Miami! They make incredible good drinks, food is delicious (I recommend the Sloppy Jose or the Cheese Platter.. my two favorites), and the bartenders are basically family. Part of the class of 2018 in downtown Miami bars (along with Jaguar Sun and Mama Tried). Each has its charms. Lost Boy has darts, Mama Tried has trivia, Jaguar Sun is the most high-end and serves dinner as well. Overall, a good year for downtown Miami's burgeoning bar scene. read more

This is what can be called a hidden gems in the middle of downtown Miami... When you walk into Lost Boy you are greeted by walking covered in Old West Americana and a giant bar with old wood and brass from days of old. The assortment of liquors and beers is fantastic and the food is both tasty and in good portion size so you are not overwhelmed. My recommendation for a nice beer would have to be the Boddingtons as if it nice and refreshing and the meal has to be the Sloppy Jose!!! Can't wait to hit this place up again!!! read more

So this bar is a treat for miami aesthetically speaking. It definitely gave off saloon vibes as the interior had textiles from Arizona and other western themed decorations. Lots of cozy sitting to mingle and the drinks were good. Service here is satisfactory since bartenders would not stop socializing in order to service us drinks. The bartenders didn't dampen my experience here as I really liked the interior and they weren't rude once serving me. read more
