No wonder these people only have 3 stars who monitors and controls these Sheriffs up at Lost Hills? Had the single worst interaction with these guys yesterday. More embarrassing on their part if anything. I've been in Calabasas my whole life. Had a sheriff at the gas station off Lost Hills that was buying a drink, profile me, follow me out of the gas station, waited until I drove off and pulled me over immediately at the McDonald's. Now these guys are not dumb they do this for a living. They know when someone's impaired, nervous, or just has a real disability almost right away when they approach people. The deputy pulled up to my window, gun drawn, opens the door and pulls me out. Cuffs me, puts me in the back of the cop car and then resumes with 5 other deputies that showed to rip my van to pieces. As I watched shocked, with my wrists literally strangled by the cuffs for about an hr. I tryed several times to call out of the window so he could at least release the hold on the cuffs, at which no time did they pay attention. Which my wrists are still marked black and blue at this moment. They wanted so bad for me to be a criminal, have a warrant, or be DUI is was disgraceful they wouldn't let it go. 5 sheriffs on me for this. He said I was acting alittle unnerved, which caused him to believe I was DUI. Which i explained if u walk up to a car on a simple traffic stop with your gun drawn, I'm pretty sure anyone will give that reaction. He explained about the field sobriety tests, which I happily accepted and said I'd go even further. Let's just cut to the chase and give me the breath test. Which he said he had to conduct the field sobriety tests as protocol in order to get there.. Like I thought, I call their bluff they did nothing. I explained to him right off the bat forthcoming that my van hadn't been registered yet because it needed a lot of work which I recently had done, and was in the process of getting it smogged so I could complete it. Which he's more than welcome to tow if he likes. The law is a the law. I didn't beg him to not do anything. I accepted it. However, his only clear concern was to find out why I'd been arrested, 25 YRS AGO!!!!!!! And if I had any drugs or guns in the car. Whatever he could find to take me away to jail. I was never combative from the start. Did exactly as he requested because he had his gun drawn. I was never under the influence of anything. My license was clean. My record is clean. And nothing illegal was in my car. Like I told him. I wanted out of that cop car. No need to be in it in the first place. The cuffs were strangling me which left marks on my wrists, and literally had me convinced they were either planting drugs in my car or were going to find anything they could to take me away. They conducted NO tests other than a couple flashes of his flashlight in my eyes. Basically ransacked through me and my possessions and then left me there on the side of the road when they finally gave up & figured out they had nothing. If he thought I was DUI, then do the tests. If I fail THEN put me in the cop car. If I say no I'm sober but he strangles my wrists and throws me in the car anyway w/out any proof, that's a problem. If my registration is expired then give me the ticket or tow it. But what happened yesterday was something completely different.

Front door to nice sheriff deputies.

One of the few places for sharps disposal available. This box is in the corner of the parking lot - big, white, clearly marked but easy to miss. Cannot dispose of sharps in approved storage containers, though.

    Some bs

I wish I could give them no stars lol. We came to file a police report and not only do they not have someone to help at the front- they make you make a call to them in the back and you can hear them all talking. They said it would be about an hour and it was over 3 hours. Just to freaking take the report. Why do we pay taxes lol

Ticket that had been issued on Mother's Day! Very nice gift

Even 1 star needs to be deserved but this is not the case for this department. If you ever need any help from this place just find a way to resolve your problem on your own. "Serve and Protect" are just two words that do not reflect the work that the Lost Hills Sheriffs Department is supposed to do. But they can easily make your life miserable. I do not think they even read the reviews because they do not even care what people think about them, they are "above" community's opinion. Dear officer Adamson, you continue making my life stressful and miserable. Looks like you keep following me to write me another ticket (I have 5 already, 3 of them were issued for the last three weeks). You don't even give me enough time to fix the issue (no front license plate). I'd really appreciate if you would help me to make holes on my front bumper and put the front license plate that I carry in my car) or give me an advise where can I go either on Sunday or after 8 pm during weekday to fix the problem. Yes, I leave every morning at 6.30 am for work and I come back at 8 pm every single day except Sunday. And simply I don't know any places. I'm a mother who works very hard to survive in this country.

Here's the possible tainted chicken left by the nieghbor for my dogs!

I believe this is due to the fact…read morethat just as every race is stereotyped for this and that, the police unfortunately had a bad egg every now and then and then led to believe that they are all the same. Also, if you believe the police department is out to get you or have bad intentions, that may be because you possibly are doing something illegal and probably shouldn't be doing in the first place. From my experience on the other hand, is that these men and women put their life on the line every single day and risk taking the chance of possibly not being able to go home to their family at the end of their shift. They have a job to do and as difficult as it may be or even if they may not completely agree with whatever the outcome may be of a situation, ultimately, they are just doing their job. They serve and protect and every single officer that I personally know or have even come into contact with has been more than helpful and have always been polite and respectful. So please, before you think or even may say anything negative about the police department or a single officer as an individual remember, they are human too, have a family and just simply doing their job as we do day in and day out. I encourage everyone that next time they see an officer to give your gratitude and thanks because the people who say bad or negative things about them are the same exact people who call them when they need help and guess what?.... they are still there and come to serve and protect. So on my behalf, thank you to our local law enforcement and first responders for everything that you do for our community and a city as a whole. God bless

Three or four deputies came to the accident site and started drawing lines marking my vehicles location as well as the other drivers cars location. Then they proceed by taking pictures and interviewing witnesses. While all this was happening, a female deputies was chatting with the other party's father and I could hear them laughing. I'm not sure what kind of relationship they had but she wrote the report to their favor. When I called to see if the report was ready, I was told that I had to call back because the report was not done. I had hired an attorney and much to my surprise, we found out that The other party had the report when I called to see if the report was ready. Finally, after getting the report I was shocked to read that since there were no pictures and no witnesses, they were not able to determine who was at fault. These deputies are good in writing tickets to get promoted. They don't deserve the money that they get paid by our tax dollars.
