I don't even know where to begin! This was one of the best meals I've had in Beaufort in a very long time and the service was beyond spectacular! We wandered in after biking the Spanish Moss Trail and I was getting hangry. I hadn't seen this place before and the entrance and decor were so appealing that we went right in. We were welcomed warmly by the bartender and decided to sit at the bar rather than the tables. I will say that they tables were spread apart nicely! The decor is so fresh and the atmosphere is light and friendly. FOOD - I ordered the conch fritters and although they are very different than many conch fritters I've had before, they were INCREDIBLE. Generous chunks of conch were mixed into a really flavorful dough with a nice texture. Crisp exterior, soft inside. Two sauces accompanied they fritters - an Asian Chili Sauce and a chipotle crema. Each delicious, but not necessary because the fritters were so good. I had the chicken-Mac tacos. Now, before you wrinkle your nose at the thought of mac n cheese on a taco, JUST TRY IT. I didn't realize there was Pico de Gallo on the taco, though, and since I can't have raw tomatoes (oral allergies) I have the first one to my husband and ordered another one without. It was still delicious even without the pico. The bacon jam will have you loving it. Husband had the beef Barbacoa taco and was thrilled with it. He can be picky about his barbacoa (Texan) and really raved about it. He also had the pork belly taco, which he liked, but I LOVED. Aaaand, lastly, the strawberry stuffed churros made me ashamed of my gluttony, but so damn happy. The bartender knew what he was doing. My cocktails were delicious and refreshing (Aperol Spritz), the beer list is long and our bartender was really knowledgeable about cocktails. If you get a chance, try some of their in-house flavored vodka - pineapple vanilla with just a splash of soda and OMG...heaven. This is a wonderful restaurant with excellent service, a great command of its cocktails, delicious food and a fresh new vibe. I hope it stays this way and sticks around for a long time! read more

We just stopped in for snacks and drinks. I'm not a local so they don't pay for the Sunday liquor license so keep that in mind! We were okay with subbing for wine. They were out of the crazy fries so I want to come back to try them. The chowder was great. Get the chips and queso! I loved it. Service was great. read more

We were visiting Beaufort and stopped by Lost Local for some tacos. Our waitress was not friendly to us at all. She was waiting on the table next to us and was very nice to them but she did not show us the same respect. My husband and I sat down at the same time as that couple next to us. We both ordered the same appetizers, the queso and chips. They got theirs, but we kept waiting and waiting, we had to ask our server for our appetizer. She said oh they didn't bring it out? Then walked away, 2 mins later it arrived which told me she probably forgot about it or didn't ring it in, but she never admitted/accepted fault or apologized. I ordered the carne asada and buffalo chicken tacos. The buffalo chicken was good however the steak on the carne asada was raw in the middle. I asked our waitress to cook them longer, which she said no problem and when they came back they were very good and had good flavor! We wanted to try the Mac chicken tacos, but they were out of Mac and cheese, which is surprising since several of their tacos had Mac and cheese on them. Honestly, just the fact that every time our server came to the table next to us, she always asked them if they were okay and as she walked off we had to flag her down to get anything. This restaurant just opened not too long ago, I'm hoping that once they get through their growing pains, the service and availability of menu items will be more consistent. Update: I'm updating my review after speaking with the owner. He was very kind and I understand why things went wrong the way they did after speaking with him. Even though we had bad service from our waitress, the food was very tasty and we will be back soon to try out more tacos! read more

I really enjoyed my experience. I had a Sangrita, fabulous for the hot happy hour air outside, refreshing. (inside in AC) and some tacos which were amazing, lots of flavor and interesting food blends. I am not a local, but I think this place does keep the locals happy and that says a lot. Holy smokes, every thing we ordered was so damn good from the tacos to the kids meals to the beer selection. My husband and I had different tacos, all seafood. If you're vacationing at one of the islands in Beaufort, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. Drove 20 minutes from Harbor Island, arrived around 8:15pm only to be greeted with "our kitchen just closed". Website says open until 9pm. Either the website hours are outdated or just poor service or a combination of both. read more

Wish I could rate this place zero stars. My husband and I went here for a date night expecting amazing service and decent food after looking at the reviews. However, our waiter Jeff was extremely short with us and snarky with the questions we had about the menu. My husband ended up ordering the deep south gullah, the ahi tuna, and the pork belly, while I got the crack nachos with the pickled jalapeños on the side. My husband's tacos took 35 minutes to come out and they were cold. The waiter never brought my side of pickled jalapeños after I asked for them a second time. 2 stars because they have cool drinks and a good beer selection, service was good also. The food was terrible. The salsa tastes like Pace Picante salsa with sugar in it. They try too hard to make cool tacos, but it ends up making for weird combos. I got the Buffalo chicken which was hard to eat and the Barbacoa, which tasted like it came from a MRE. Saw this place while down over Memorial Day and although it wasn't open yet we were intrigued. It was our first stop on our next visit and didn't disappoint. This is what Downtown needs....something fresh and different. We had lunch, blackened shrimp, blackened fish and chicken Mac tacos. The shrimp was by far our fave. The chicken Mac was pretty sweet and the fish ok but we've had better. A delicious slice of key lime pie ended the meal perfectly. Seriously...go now and get the blackened shrimp taco!! read more
