Great little place in downtown Beaufort. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed in and had the choice of seats. The bar staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Super fast service and delicious food! We had the fish tacos and Barbados salad. The great detail that needs to be noted is that if you only want a few tacos you don't need a full plate. The vanilla infused margarita was amazing. Unfortunately our food did not live up to the drinks. The crab soup was bland with a very cakey texture. Had Jamaican tacos. Real chicken breast cut in chunks but very dry. Not a lot of pineapple or even flavor of pineapple. Service was excellent. Decibel level unacceptable. Loud background music, brick walls and high ceiling are the culprits. read more

Decided to pop in for lunch today with my wife. The place is welcoming with great decor and lots of space. Owners and bartenders are great, super friendly. Now, the food. I tried the Southern Gullah taco- bbq, collards, mac and cheese, bacon jam. Wow, had to order another one, great mix of flavors. Wife had fish tacos. Straight forward and fresh. We got the opportunity to order take out here for their opening day! So obviously we ordered all of their tacos. Anything with blackened meat was my favorite (shrimp or chicken Mac) also the Gullah one was so unique. I mean this place puts macaroni and cheese IN the taco! All the drinks looked so good. Regret not eating in the restaurant but still trying to be socially distant. There's no place like this in Beaufort. My husband coming from San Diego we've eaten a lot of fish tacos. And these definitely have a fun variation. They are smaller. So three per person is probably a pretty size able portion. read more

We were excited when reading the reviews and were really hungry so we chose the first restaurant we saw with 4.5 stars. We ordered 4 tacos between the two of us as well as a queso dip. The chips with the queso dip were stale but the dip was pretty good. The green tomato tacos were the best followed by the Buffalo chicken tacos. The meat on carnita tacos was so dry I couldn't eat it. The fish tacos were ok but nothing special. Server was great though. Food very mediocre. read more

Discovered this new spot while in town Memorial Day even though it wasn't open yet. It was our first stop our next visit. We stopped in for lunch on a Thursday and were seated immediately. Our server was friendly but a bit stiff. Husband and I both got street tacos- blackened fish, the BBQ Mac and blackened shrimp. Fish was decent, BBQ mac was very sweet which my husband liked but I didn't care for....but man oh man we both agreed the shrimp were excellent!! Don't miss them!
