My partner and father and law and I had a wonderful time here playing miniature golf! The course cannot be beat! It's amazing!!! the staff was friendly and overall it moved along pretty well despite being busy on a Wednesday evening around 8:30. We got through in about an hour. If you're coming to have a blast with your friends, family or partner, please be respectful of golfers and wait until you put. Would NOT go back on a Sunday or with a kid that has only been potty trained for a year. Arrived around 1/2 on a Sunday to be stuck in a line of maybe 7/8 groups ahead of us. The group right in front of us had 3 adults and 5 children. Our kid had an accident mid course and there was no way in hell we could have walked around the completely full course or got back to our spot without interrupting 10+ other groups. I have been here several times over the years. Very nice mini golf course. I knew on a sunny summer day it would get crowded. We got there about 45 minutes after opening. The staff did tell us they were a little backed up. It took us about 10 minutes for our turn to start. It took about an hour overall to get through the course with the crowds. I will say that despite the heat and the crowds, the kids there were very well behaved. This is a great place for kids and adults. In fact, this group of seniors behind us was the loudest and most excited. Course is very well kept. Garbage cans at each hole are a nice touch. I think it helps to keep it clean. Each hole also had a bench to sit at. There are steps to walk up and down at some of the holes. Only concessions are a pop machine. read more

One of the coolest outdoor mini golf courses with an Indiana Jones type of theme! It's spacious, beautifully decorated, & very unique!

The design was the course was challenging yet fun. When we drove up, it had looked like there was a bit of backup. But it moved quickly and we were off playing. The course was pretty but challenging enough for the most seasoned pro yet still fun for most beginners. It was well maintained and everything was exactly where it should be. Reasonably priced for an hour of fun, this mini-golf course can get busy during weekends with good weather but the play moves reasonably fast as the holes are not extremely challenging. There are a some things I like about this course. The cost of admission isn't super high considering that the size isn't enormous. The variety of scenery and holes is quite nice and this is all prepared very well. There aren't too many tricky opportunities to lose your balls (and there are some warnings in the places where you might hit too hard). Finally, the course gives the sense of climbing up as you go along so you do feel like you're going on a mini adventure. I was pleased with the game I played here and I'd gladly come again with friends. read more

It has probably been too long since I've last played mini golf, and so the cost of admission really surprised me. $34 for two children and two adults, wowzer! However, the fun had on the course was a ton of fun. We have always passed by there whenever we head out to visit my brother, and subsequently the children have always begged to go there. An end to a pleasant vacation allowed the children to get their wish. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating, even to my four year old. She was sure to receive the smallest putter ever in order to suit her tiny frame, ha ha! While the course is beautiful with various waterfalls, bridges, and streams, I do wish there were more obstacles on each course. Yet, it was a ton of fun and even more fun when I ended up being the winner with a score of 28! This establishment is very clean and manicured, this was very much appreciated. They adhered to all COVID precautions, as did all the guests surrounding us. We will definitely return when we get another hankering to play! read more

Very good place for families and adults! 18 different obstacles for about $10 per person. Everyone was very nice and helpful and there was a good variety of holes so kept things interesting! I don't even play golf and we still had fun. The ride the rapids was a great hole where u actually put the ball in the river and it rides to a nice hole in one( I know sounds odd). Having grown up not far from here, I'm very happy to say that Lost Mountain is one of the better mini-golf courses in the Chicago suburbs. Many other putt-putts bill themselves as 'challenge golf' or something equally dopey, but really that's just a cop-out for being a bland, boring course (and they know that). Lost Mountain is 'adventure golf', and it certainly lives up to the name. Greens fees are reasonable @ $7.50/pp, but due to its high-visibility on 75th street, it can get pretty crowded during peak hours. If it's a nice evening in warm weather, expect to wait at nearly every other hole. Most of the course involves gradually climbing up their man-made mountain, complete with waterfall and spotlights. Sometimes, they play cool tribal music through their ground speakers to really round out the enjoyable atmosphere. The 18-hole course: tons of fun to play. While some holes are deceivingly simple, there's little nuances in every one to keep you on your toes. Several of them are multi-tiered, while others involve a choose-your-own path type of approach. The best ones, though, are 'Ride the Rapids' (intentionally hit your ball in a stream), 'Leap of Faith' (hit up a steep slope to jump over water), and 'Where Eagles Dare' (3 levels). The course ends with a hole aptly named 'Indiana's Escape', which, given the font used, is a clear nod to the fabled archaeologist Doctor Jones. In years past, there used to be a grumpy old man that worked here, but he's been replaced by disinterested high schoolers, so not much of a trade-off. They have a newly-added ice cream vending machine after the 18th hole. In short, Lost Mountain is the bees knees. I've only been to a handful of mini golf places that surpass LM in terms of fun, course creativity, variety, cleanliness, and outdoor ambiance. We played a round at Lost Mountain on a Sunday evening and had a very fun time. It's somewhat similar to other miniature golf courses in the area, in particular I'm thinking of Congo River, only this one is "just" 18 holes. In fact, that's the only downside to this place. You really can't play it too often without getting bored by the same 18 holes. Anyway, the staff was friendly, the grounds were rather well kept, and the hole design fluctuated between medium to high difficulty. Though all 18 holes we were kept engaged and the variability helped to keep most of our foursome on a level playing field. I owned the front nine but then trailed off on the back due to this very reason. However, since I know you're interested, I still came out on top (or I guess on bottom since it's golf and you want the lowest score) in the end. If you're looking for a fun mini golf course then you should give Lost Mountain a try. It won't be the most amazing round you've ever played but it is a great spot for a date or a family outing that won't set you back too deep in the wallet. read more

We are trying to find some activities to do for the rest of the day. It was hot but our decision to come here and spend 1-2 hours playing, being silly, admiring the water falls was worth it! There are a lot of people since it is summer but despite that line in each hole was moving pretty quick. Some holes for a beginner is tough to finish and we are not pro not even season golfers. the goal was to have fun and that was achieved. Definitely coming back! Interesting mini golf adventure with many challenges. Reasonably priced. Designed for family fun.

This deluxe mini-golf range beckons you as you drive past on 75th St. Even if you don't have kids in the car, who can resist a multi-level terrain with huge waterfalls, rope bridges and looming tiki gods? It's like a glowing beacon saying "TURN IN NOW!" Pay your 7-ish bucks per adult, grab one of many of the wildly colored balls (not just boring primary colors here -- they had three shades of purple!) and start your adventure! Some of the holes are really easy, some look deceptively easy and then end up being difficult, and some were "Hell no!" for both of us. Good thing there is a 6-stroke max per hole. (Some of their suggested pars seemed on the low side to us, and we did not do badly.) We still motored through, trying not to go TOO fast (a poky couple ahead of us prevented that anyway). Lots of fun stuff to take pictures with helped slow us down. Be careful not to be too gregarious a putter in a few places, or you might send your ball flying down a grassy hill or into a waterfall...then it's 75 cents for a replacement ball. (And yes I did do the former, but was able to hop the rope and retrieve it. One stroke penalty for me!) There are a few water features that you are *supposed* to hit into, and your ball will take a flume ride toward the hole; a unique feature. Overall, this is a fun course, particularly at night (they are open pretty late). Get while the getting's good and fit in your golf adventure before it's too cold! read more

I'm not sure where the "adventure" comes in, although they use the Indiana Jones font on the signs and the 18th hole is called "Indiana's Escape." While the grounds are nicely landscaped and the course is situated on a hill with some significant water elements, the holes themselves boast little embellishment. So in other words, it is attractive but not interesting. But to be honest, I appreciate a clean, well maintained basic course more than a dump with windmills and tyrannosaurs. Lost Mountain is a fun play, and more challenging than most suburban courses. One reason is a design choice: the holes are bordered with rocks rather than wooden or concrete bumpers. This precludes the possibility of intentional banking, and any ricochets that occur are almost entirely random. It's annoying to watch your shot skim just past the hole, then hit the wall behind it and carom off to the side instead of straight back towards the cup. There is also some significant elevation on many holes, which I like but which adds to the challenge. The other frustration came from the course conditions. It was very wet that day, so I found it difficult to feel out the necessary amount of oomph. Also, there was significant debris on some of the holes; particularly, the 10th and 11th were carpeted with fallen tree buds and I watched a short putt roll astoundingly off course over just a few inches. I shot 8 over par that day, which is really bad for me. Partly this was caused by the inherent difficulty of the setup, partly by the conditions, and partly by my poor play. If I were at my best I still probably would not have broken par though. They should consider raising the par from 2 to 3 on a few of these holes. read more

This place is a blast! Reasonably priced, $7.95 adults. My aunties and I wanted to play a round of mini golf and we had a great time. The 18 hole course was actually pretty challenging at times. There were a few holes that had some interesting themes, rushing water, really fun. Of course two of us ended up losing a ball each and it was .75 for a missing ball. You had to walk all the way back to the counter to get a new ball of course. It's easier to lose a ball than you think!!! I lost mine in the grassy hill on hole 3 or 4.... We played on a Tuesday afternoon and it wasn't too horribly busy. I liked the Rapids hole best where you hit your ball in the stream and the water carried your ball to the hole. We're trying to squeeze in lots of fun in the final stretch before school starts and figured, why not mini golf? This place was nearby and got good reviews, so we gave it a try. We had lots of fun at this 18-hole course. Some of the holes were pretty challenging. I was glad I wasn't up first in our group, as I could watch and learn from others' mistakes. For instance, sometimes you don't know up front which of say 3 initial holes will get you closest to the final hole. There are some tricky ones with water too. Sometimes you actually want to land in the water - and other times no. We'll definitely plan to come back and are glad we got to have some summer fun and memories here. read more

The 5 stars is relative to all mini golf places around the surrounding western suburbs because I think this is the best one. I took my kids there and we had a lot of fun and the golf course was well themed and challenging but still very possible to get the occasional hole in ones. The staff was friendly. It can get pretty busy and you may have to wait a little. I already knew this from before so I tried to time it and went there around 5:30 pm on a Saturday. By the time we were done around 6:30 it was definitely busier. But don't feel rushed if there are people behind you since most people are friendly and understand. Prices were very reasonable and you can print $1 off per person coupon off their website. read more

Really fun way to spend an hour! Trying out the Stonehenge was bizarre. I didn't feel spiritual or make contact with aliens, but I'm still a fan! I nearly lost my ball on hole 4 when going uphill because the hole is right next to a steep hill and you have to put in a bit of force to get the ball to the top. Well, I over-estimated the necessary force required to achieve that above trajectory and the ball bounced off the back post and off to the side towards the hill. I ended up finding my PURPLE ball by the fence. Word of advice: DO NOT get a green ball! Otherwise, you may have to pay 0.75 cents for being color-blind. The rapids was another fun course to try out because with the right wind, you could get a hole in one without much effort! So if you need to take some strokes off your game, go for it! For about $8 per person, my family had a good time with all the laughs, smiles, and high-fives included. read more

The people who work here are super friendly and have a good sense of humor. It's an 18-hole course that should take at least an hour to finish and costs $7.95 per person (I believe it's cheaper if you're under 13). If you lose the ball, you have to pay a very minimal fee for another one. I bet you're thinking what kind of doofus would lose a ball...well I lost mine okay?! There's this one hole called Leap of Faith and I hit the ball a little too hard and the ball went flying into the small decorative pond right by it and sunk to the bottom. I came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty crowded - my boyfriend and I decided to start out of order which was a mistake because when you play the last hole, you can't get your ball back. One of the workers was nice enough to give us two different balls to finish holes 1-4 which we had skipped. read more

We had a great time and there weren't a ton of people around (though this place gets really hopping in the summertime).
