    Outside walk up!
    Brian P.

I was eager to check them out. I'd heard about them from the morning news. It's a viable "things to do around Chicagoland" recreational spot. The big selling point of Game of Irons is that it's a place to go when it's not ideal golf conditions outside. Think indoor Top Golf! The bays are quite sizable. The floors adjust for the type of golf you're playing. I found it cool that you can play games like golf candy crush. There are two levels (w/ an elevator). There's no arcade and 1 pool table. The food is basic. Pizza, cheese curds, wings, etc. Other than the salad, everything is mostly finger food. The biggest con is that they are quite expensive, IMO. A monthly membership is $250! Whew! Overall, it's not great, but it's also not terrible. Some may love it, but I'm not a golfer, so it didn't move me. Game of Irons won't be at the top of my must-visit activity lists, but it's worth trying at least once.

Nice adult hangout for those who like golf. Its a niche market for a specific demographic...though. Food was pretty decent, upscale bar food and the decor and service are nice. Would be an excellent after work hangout for golf enthusiasts.

My girlfriend and I went here for a yelp event and had a great time! When walking in, you are greeted with a putting green and a cool looking throne made of golf clubs (felt like a king). We had a simulator bay to ourselves and tried the driving range as well a couple of the game modes. This is our first time trying out a golf simulator, but we had a blast! The automated tee off is a pretty cool addition compared to other driving ranges as well. The place is also a full bar as well so if you ever get tired swinging the clubs the bar isn't too far away. The food was pretty decent. The event served finger foods like fries and chicken tenders which were ok. Overall, me and my girlfriend had a blast here and next time have to try some more of their food options and golf games.

What a fun place to be - ESPECIALLY if you are looking for a group activity or something to do when the weather gets colder. This place is pretty spacious - there are golf bays (where you do the virtual golfing) both on the lower level and upper level. Each bay is pretty spacious, with lots of seating, so you can talk/drink while each player goes up to golf. There is also a full bar, pool, darts and food. I would definitely definitely recommend checking this place out even if you aren't a golfer.

Loveeeee this place! Truly am so shocked with how awesome Game of Irons turned out to be. I figured it would be fun, but I've never heard of or played interactive golf before, so I was a little skeptical since that was definitely a new thing for me. This 2-story establishment is HUGE and has tons of screens/areas to play interactive golf. No worries if you aren't skilled - the playing levels varied from first-timers and beginners to life-long experienced golfers. And yes, I was definitely at the most bottom level. My friend and I played Candy Crush but golf version and we loved it! The employees were super attentive and friendly. There's a button at every little golfing area so you can press it for service and an employee will come to you to either take your order or simply to help you with anything you need. The drinks here were strong, which is always great ;) The prickly pear margarita was my favorite! The food was better than I thought it would be, too - not that I thought it would be bad, but I just thought it would be like average bar food. While the type of food was bar-like (wings, mozzarella sticks, pizza, etc.), the quality was higher than "just bar food"! I loved their pizza, caesar salad, and cheese curds. Their ranch was fire, too! Overall, I will 100% be back. Game of Irons is perfect for groups or a date night. Drinks, food, golf - what else do you need?!

Game of Irons was so amazing. There are many game options and i was amazed to see how you hit the golf balls so hard and the screen is just 3-4 feet away from you. Initially i was scared to hit hard as it might damage the screen even though i was told by the staff member that i can hit as hard as i want. But eventually, i got more comfortable hitting the balls hard. Another family joined us for the game and then it was lot of fun as it was 6 of us in the same bay. And Finally, i was the winner .... Yayyyyyy Its definitely a fun place to go to in any season as its indoors. Great ambiance. Its a family friendly place.

Bays. Look at these pretty chairs

Came here for the grand opening and shocked by how nice and spacious it is! There are 16 bays total, 5 downstairs and 11 upstairs, and a small practice putting area downstairs. Each bay has four chairs and two tables, there's enough room for your bags and food, etc. very comfortable. We didn't try the course, but the driving range simulator was awesome. My friends who actually golf (I suck, just came for fun) think the simulator doesn't actually record as far/hard as you actually hit but pretty close. After you swing, they show a small recorded clip of your swing so this can be really helpful for people who want to watch their form. The platform you stand on also shifts/tilts to imitate being the slopes on the course. You can reserve the bays on their website, I believe the prices vary weekends/week. All of the employees have been nice and friendly. Special shouts out to the bartender! I didn't see the menu but they offered free food during the grand opening and it was your typical decent bar food. We have also been to Halfway House Indoor Golf which gave more of a serious/professional players vibe, so I appreciate that Game of Irons is a bit more chill for people like me who are not good whatsoever but enjoy the company. Overall, very modern, aesthetic and spacious facility with great customer service. This seems like a fun place to hang and get your golf in especially when the weather is rough outside. Highly recommend :)

So fun! Cosmic golfing with awesome music!

5 stars for location, ambiance, spacious and well designed bays, top notch technology, and decent priced while tasty apps! Thank YEE, thank YEE! I've always wanted to check this place out for the winter days when it's freezing outside. This is an indoor golf simulation place. I'm an avid golfer and love everything golf. This place is perfect for golfers and non golfers alike. I love that the practice mode gives you a replay of your swing. I love the arcade mode where it's like Angry Birds app game where you smash blocks with your ball. So cool! The balls are automatic and you never have to bend down. The technology here is just SUPERB! From the customizations you can do for your swing and level of play that is customizable according to your experience. It's super cool that if you're playing a course, the floor adjusts to different lies and slopes. They've thought of everything! This place is YUUUUUGE!!! Two floors of fun! And if you have a party, they can divide the rooms! Upstairs is super cool with couches... assumingely for the friends that are there to hang out instead of play. All good because again, this place is for everyone who wants to hang! There's a cute little putting greens on the first floor. They provide golf clubs or you can bring your own. The apps were so tasty! My fave was the wings, zucchini fries, and onion rings. On Thursday night, they had "cosmic" golf where they sim the lights and had strobe lights everywhere. There's ample seating by the bar and music all throughout. It's a party!!! I can't wait to return to swing again! Now, tee it high and let the good times roll!

If you enjoy golf, gaming, good food, and drinks, Game of Irons is the place for you! This indoor golf facility offers multiple simulator bays, arcade-style games, a pool table, and an electronic dart board. Plus, you can enjoy delicious food and drinks from their full bar. I enjoyed their cheese curds! My drink of choice, was the Stieghl Radler Grapefruit. The bartender was attentive and the staff was great! I personally tried two of the golf simulators, but my favorite was skee ball. On Fridays and Saturdays after 8 pm, they even offer cosmic golf! It's a great spot for a fun night out, and make sure to snap a picture in the "Game of Thrones" style chair made out of golf irons before you go!

    Christina T.

This was a really nice place! There are 2 floors that are full of bays along with a bar area downstairs. The simulator is set so that it can shift your stance....for example if you are uphill, it will be set so that it seems like you are standing on an uphill. The service was good. There's a lot for drink options but not too much for food. If you are looking for something to munch on then there's some things to choose from.... Wings, cheese curds, fries, sweet potato fries, flatbread, etc. It's a fun place to wind down and have fun with your friends.

    Margaret J.

I had such a great time at this event. I enjoyed the different game options that are virtually provided to make the game of golf exciting and fun.. I loved the night life type of vibe with a bar on the first floor.. 5 stars fun times.

    Leslie B.

Place was great for a game night!!!! Even if you could t really golf, it wasn't about the point and getting it in the hole. It was about laughter, fun, enjoying the company you were with. The food was great, the ambiance was cute and inviting and the games were fun! We had our own little section and we challenged each other through the golf and arcade games, which you could choose from. The servers/workers were really nice, you didn't have to wait long for someone to take your order and the explained everything! The only challenge was there is only one bathroom so if you're on the second floor you have to go downstairs. Huge Parking lot and very spacious indoors. Will definitely go back!

Hello. I have a small group of four that do not golf at all. Is this place appropriate for beginners or is this for seasoned players?

I also wanted to add that we went here for my sisters birthday and when we mentioned it, the lady serving us came with a big slice of a really fancy cake with a decorated plate and ice cream. It's my go‑to spot for a classic Fish Fry, and after years of coming here, it still never disappoints. We arrived a little after 5:30 p.m. on a Friday and, as expected, only waited about five minutes. The moment you step inside, you're met with a lively bar scene--TVs tuned to various games, tall tables lining both sides, and a steady buzz of conversation. People are eating, drinking, and genuinely enjoying themselves. What surprised me most was how many families were there, even with infants and toddlers in tow. And honestly, it was great to see. The kids were calm, the parents looked relaxed, and the whole place had this easygoing, everyone's‑welcome energy. We sat in the back, and the table was cleaned quickly. Our server Heather brought menus, though we already knew exactly what we wanted. The menu has a big selection, but for us it was three orders of the Fish Fry. You can substitute sides--sweet potato fries, tots, or onion rings--and the meal comes with hush puppies and coleslaw. Drinks and water arrived promptly, and the entrées followed soon after, piping hot. The fried fish was flaky and flavorful--nothing like the heavy, all‑batter, no‑fish situation you get at some places. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. We asked for refills and they arrived almost instantly. I'm already looking forward to coming back once the weather warms up so we can enjoy the patio. This place continues to be a reliable, welcoming spot with great food and an even better atmosphere.
